Kilauea has erupted once more on Hawaii's Big Island, launching lava and ash an astonishing 35,000 feet into the atmosphere. Since the end of 2024, Kilauea has been engaged in a continuous cycle of explosive eruptions, leaving scientists amazed at the duration of this phenomenon.
Episode 38 initiated a significant sequence in December, marked by sudden seismic activity, swift lava fountaining, and ash so dense that it overwhelmed monitoring equipment.
