00:16that on February 13th, Evan and Romero Gutierrez was arrested at La Chinita International Airport
00:23in Maracaibo and he had been wanted since May 26th, 2025 for the crimes of fraud and conspiracy.
00:32The document added, it should be noted that this proceeding is not related to oil issues
00:37or activities related to that sector as has been reported in various media outlets. On February
00:4317th, 2026, the preliminary hearing was held in view of the aid of the citizen under investigation
00:50and in strict compliance with constitutional procedural guarantees. According to the statement,
00:56the Public Prosecutor's Office also requested a substitute precautionary measure consisting
01:02of a reporting regime. This request was granted by the competent court. The Public Prosecutor's
01:09Office remains committed to the country's dialogue process.
