00:07when a tree suddenly collapsed onto their MPV, and their ordeal drew a royal visitor this week.
00:13Dr. Noor Shahida Abdul Aziz and Dr. Sharina Firouz Abdul Manaf,
00:18both lecturers at UITM's Faculty of Chemical Engineering,
00:22were visited by Tenku Pirmaissuri of Selangor,
00:25Tenku Pirmaissuri Nurashikhin, at the critical zone of Hospital Shah Alam on Wednesday.
00:31Her Royal Highness, who also serves as UITM's Pro-Chancellor,
00:35came bearing gifts and offered personal prayers for both women's swift recovery.
00:40The injuries sustained were serious.
00:43Dr. Noor Shahida suffered a head wound requiring eight stitches and a fractured C2 vertebra,
00:49a bone in the upper neck.
00:50Dr. Sharina sustained a fractured T5 vertebra in the mid-back region.
00:56The incident happened without warning.
00:59The two lecturers had just stepped out for lunch after attending a faculty meeting
01:03when the tree came down on them.
01:06UITM Vice-Chancellor Professor Datuk Dr. Sharin Sahib said both women are in good spirits
01:12and have been advised to focus entirely on their recovery.

01:47Doctors have indicated they could be discharged within a few days if progress continues.
01:52A full recovery, however, is expected to take around three months.
