00:00Welcome back.
00:01Iran's Foreign Minister Abak Sarachi announced that Iran and the United States have reached
00:05a general understanding on guiding principles during the second round of indirect nuclear
00:11talks in Geneva.
00:12Abak Sarachi stated that various proposals were presented and discussed seriously by
00:17both sides.
00:18Ultimately, they agreed on a set of guiding principles that will serve as the foundation
00:23for drafting the text of a potential agreement.
00:26The Foreign Minister emphasized that negotiations will now move forward based on these principles
00:31with both parties preparing draft documents which will be exchanged before a date is set
00:37for the next round of talks.
00:39Arachi also stressed that a final deal is not imminent and while noting that progress has
00:44been made, he acknowledged that significant differences between the two sides still remain.
00:55Once drafting of the text begins, the work naturally becomes more detailed and complex.
01:01In my view, good progress has been made compared with the previous round, and we now have a
01:07clearer path ahead, which I see as positive.
01:11The time has been set for the third round.
01:15It was agreed that both sides will work for the third draft text for a potential agreement,
01:21after which the draft will be exchanged and a date for a third round will be set.
01:29Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Arashi also has warned about the consequences of normalizing
01:34violations of international rules and norms.
01:37On Tuesday in Geneva, the top diplomat met with his Swiss counterpart Ignacio Cassis after
01:42leading a high-ranking Iranian delegation in a second round of renewed indirect nuclear
01:47negotiations with the United States.

01:54on regulations of the United Nations Charter and international law.
01:58In this context, on the negotiations process, the top diplomat described the talks as serious
02:03and focused.
