Clarifications: The actual collapse occurred during the night between Valentine's Day (February 14, 2026) and the following Sunday. The images were filmed during an inspection by the Puglia Region, which took place in the presence of the Puglia Governor Antonio Decaro on Monday, February 16, 2026. The images show the remains of the Arch of Sant'Andrea, located in the coastal area of Melendugno (in the province of Lecce) and presumably destroyed by water infiltration caused by rain during the hours of severe weather.
