00:00One of President Trump's core missions when he assumed the presidency was to unleash American energy dominance.
00:09He recognized that more energy made America stronger economically, job opportunities in our country, stronger militarily, better able to project
00:20power abroad.
00:21He led this effort with four large executive orders to move all the things out of the way that had
00:29strangled American energy ingenuity.
00:32We've had years of energy subtraction policies that directed our industries overseas and raised energy prices for Americans who were
00:41rightfully frustrated by that.
00:43One of President Trump's boldest proclamations was that this is America. We can build things. We can innovate. We can
00:50do things in this country.
00:52And in fact, he set out a very bold goal. This is just 12 months ago.
00:56He said by the 250th anniversary of our declaration of independence, meaning July 4 of this year, we're going to
01:05have multiple nuclear reactors critical.
01:08People thought that was crazy. 15 months away, we built two reactors in 40 or 50 years, yet we're going
01:14to have three reactors critical by July 4.
01:16Well, I think you can see standing behind me, President Trump was serious, and the United States entrepreneurs, the United
01:24States military are standing up to make it happen.
01:28The Department of Energy that I run has done all sorts of efforts in enrichment, fuel fabrication, and changing regulations
01:35and rules to unleash American ingenuity.
01:39Today is history. A multi-megawatt, next-generation nuclear power plant is loaded in the C-17 behind us.
01:50We're going to fly it to Utah today, and it will be critical, running all of its nuclear systems by
01:57July 4 of this year.
01:58God bless President Trump's leadership, God bless the United States military and Department of Energy, and God bless the United
02:06States of America.
02:06You know, we've even made sure we're here.
02:07They're here.
02:07We're here.
02:07We're here.
