00:00I mean I felt that way really about all the characters because they were so
00:03specific. I remember growing up in my suburb back in back in the days like all
00:07the stories of the neighborhood like my mom grew up in the same neighborhood that
00:10I grew up in and my grandma and my the next-door neighbor Mr. Williams always
00:15was beefing because he won the lottery back in like 85 and like he bought up
00:19all the houses in the neighborhood and he always wanted to buy her house and so
00:22she was like that's I felt like I was meeting those kind of characters on TV.
00:27Does anyone ever really know their neighbors? Yes I knew my neighbors first
00:30and last names all up in each other's business. What I loved about this show is
00:34that every single like member of that ensemble had a completely different
00:38energy and a completely different vibe and whenever you're doing a scene with
00:42them you you got to play in a completely different way you had Mark who's like
00:45quite deadpan and sarcastic and a little bit of an oddball and then randomly
00:50poignant yeah and then you know Kapil who's just like this puppy and he's just
00:56full of like buoyant energy and then Paula who is just this masterful
01:00improviser who would come out with like the craziest lines and then Julia playing
01:05the sort of like nosy neighbor as well with deep dark secrets it's great like
01:09with each of them like every time you did a scene with one of them you felt like
01:13you were in a different show. And then it's funny because it's our characters
01:15pretend that we're not a part of the crazy neighbor crew like we like we're the
01:19ones that think they're normal that's the cliche we are like oh we're the
01:23perfect couple but like y'all got a lot of shit y'all need to work out you know.
01:26Yeah.
