07:19This is the first livery for the Cadillac Formula 1 team, we wanted to bring it to the biggest
07:24stage.
07:24We're showing the livery in a way that's never been done before.
07:34I wanted the film to feel quite future-facing, something that felt really quite iconic, timeless,
07:41but also like that this was a real moment, whilst also taking viewers on this journey
07:45of the blood, sweat and tears that have gone into getting Cadillac to the starting line
07:50to the grid.
07:53Great visual effects always start with something in camera, we need to make sure that this film
07:57speaks to those F1 fans and gets everything accurate because it's such a detail-oriented
08:03sport.
08:05That challenge is one that we're willing to accept, one we are unwilling to postpone,
08:12and one we intend to win.
08:14The JFK sample really ties in, really plays well.
08:18It's so iconic, it's sort of steeped in history and I think the whole tone of it is to try
08:24and
08:24lean into that and you're going to feel as momentous of an occasion.
08:33One of the details I'm most proud of is probably the asymmetry of the car.
08:38The juxtaposition of the black and the white and the layers that fall within it through the
08:43details really are a representation of like the journey we've been on.
08:47The black really does bring the attitude, it really delivers an intensity.
08:52Now the white, it's the inspiration, it's our guiding light moving forward, it's everything
08:57we want to be.
08:58When you see that car head on, you see why we did it.
09:02A lot of thought went into this livery to make it unique, to really show both sides of
09:07the coin of what Cadillac F1 is about and the Super Bowl just starts to tell that story.
09:14I hope people feel a real sense of excitement and anticipation for Cadillac joining F1.
09:20I want them to be like, bam, I'm going to watch that one and see what happens, see how
09:25they do and ultimately I guess give Americans a bit of a sense of pride that like they're
09:29now in the F1 scene.
09:31Being the American Formula 1 team and then showing up on Super Bowl Sunday, it's an awesome
09:38way for Cadillac Formula 1 to get to represent our home country but then also show them who
09:44we are, what we mean and invite them to be along the ride with us.
