Tracy McGrady suggests non-playoff teams compete for draft lottery spots in a bid to curb tanking
Transcript
00:00I saw something the other day that I kind of agreed to with having the last teams,
00:05or I guess the teams that don't make the playoffs, play for, I guess,
00:11the positioning for lottery for the first pick in the draft.
00:15I kind of like that idea for them playing it out because now, yeah,
00:19you could take, you know, teams could take.
00:22They know how to, you know, manipulate the rosters and manipulate, what I'm trying to say,
00:32manipulate games, I should say, and strategies and things of that nature.
00:38But I think when you add incentives for all the guys that, all the teams that are trying to take
00:48like that,
00:48make them play for a, you know, a position in lottery, a position for that first pick,
00:55then you're playing for something.
00:56Right now, they're not really, you know, playing for anything.
