00:00So today, I want to share with you a story that has touched countless hearts over the years.
00:06So you may have heard this before, and this is the story about the footprints in the sand.
00:11And it goes like this, at the start of life's journey, there are two sets of footprints in the sand.
00:18One is yours, and the other is God.
00:20But as you continue walking, you notice that at some point, there's only one set of footprints.
00:27And that's when the person cries out, Lord, I think I'm going to be with you.
00:32Why is it just one set of footprints that I can see? Why did you leave me alone?
00:38And God answers with these beautiful and powerful words.
00:42What he said, it was when I carried you.
00:47You know, brothers, this story reminds us God is with us not just at the beginning or the end,
00:54but every true trial, every heartbreak, and every moment of joy.

01:06So the classic story, it's so simple, right? But it's so powerful.
01:11It tells us that even when we feel abandoned, even when life gets heavy,
01:17and we think God has left us behind, He hasn't.
01:22He carried us. But here's the thing.
01:25What if, just what if, the story isn't quite finished?
01:29What if God's presence in our lives isn't just about carrying us?
01:35What if He also invites others to walk with us along the way?
01:41Think about that for a moment.
01:44Imagine, I want you to imagine this.
01:46Instead of one set of footprints suddenly disappearing,
01:51you start seeing more and more set of footprints along the way.
01:57It only means that other people are coming in like friends, mentors, colleagues, family, believers,
02:05people that God sent to walk alongside you.
02:11This isn't just a feel-good idea.
02:15It's how God's love works.
02:17His love, it flows through us, to others, creating path of shared support, encouragement, and growth.
02:27So, here's my twist on this classic story.
02:31The footprints never really become just one set.
02:35You know what? Instead, they multiply.
02:38And that is intentional.
02:39Why? Because God wants us to journey with others.
02:44When we mentor someone, when we encourage someone,
02:48or just walk beside someone in life's struggles,
02:51we become part of God's footprints.
02:55Think about it.
02:57When you guide someone closer to God,
02:59when you share a story,
03:01when you pray for someone and show up for them,
03:04you are creating a pathway of love.
03:08You are walking God's love into their lives.
03:13This, my dear brothers and sisters,
03:16is discipleship in action.
03:19And discipleship doesn't have to be complicated.
03:23It can be as simple as what?
03:25Sending a message of encouragement,
03:27praying consistently for someone,
03:29spending time and listening without judgment,
03:32sharing a lesson you've learned from your faith.
03:35Every small step you take with someone else
03:39is a set of footprints in the sand,
03:43reflecting God's love.
