00:07You know the word call is beautiful.
00:11Kung maga sa Tagalog, pagtawag.
00:13It's personal, it's intentional, and when God calls us, it's always with a purpose.
00:21To serve, to love, and to make a difference.
00:25Each day, every day, God invites us to serve, not just in church, not just on weekends, not just in ministry, but every single day.
00:39So the question for you today that I want to ask you is this.
00:44Do you say yes when God calls you to serve?
00:47Or do you just scroll past, ignore, or sin zone Him?
00:52Hi, this is Brother RJ, and welcome to our OBM of the Week.
00:59Many of us think serving is about doing, but here's the truth.
01:05I've learned this over the years.
01:09You can serve without loving, but you cannot love without serving.
01:15Service and love, it goes hand in hand.
01:18You can go through motions, help someone, lead a project, give your time.
01:25But if love isn't at the heart of it, it won't last.
01:29Serving is about love in action.
01:33Every time we serve, we get a chance to reflect God's love to someone else.
01:38So tell me, how often do we pass by those calls in life?
01:45Someone needs a word of encouragement, a helping hand, a listening ear, and we just scroll past by it.
01:54Here's something I want you to really hear.
01:56Listen carefully, okay?
01:58Say yes before you know how.
02:01Kumbaga sa Tagalog, umuo ka muna, bago ka kabahan.
02:05One of the lessons I learned from radical training.
02:09When I first became a fist builder, I had zero training.
02:12Totoo po yun.
02:13I didn't know how to lead.
02:15I don't know how to, anyway, organize, really.
02:19And even speak in public.
02:21Hindi wala akong masyadong training.
02:22Although meron akong training when it comes to retreat, recollection, pero yun talagang leading, leading a big group or leading, starting a fist, wala po talaga.
02:34Konti, hindi ganun kadami.
02:37My only experience was helping my dad during his talks.
02:41And one day, someone said to me, RJ, ikaw dito, ha?
02:46You know what?
02:47I said yes.
02:48And then it really hit me.
02:50I was nervous.
02:51I didn't know anyone.
02:54Kumbaga, I was asked to lead in Pampanga.
02:58I didn't speak Kapampangan fluently or even though I don't know how to speak Kapampangan.
03:03May Kenny lang, may Kenny.
03:05And I had other responsibilities.
03:09But saying yes opened the door to growth, learning, and unexpected blessings.
03:14You see, my dear friends, experience is the best teacher.
03:19Challenges will come.
03:20But they're not here to stop you.
03:24They're here to teach you, to stretch you, and to show you what love really looks like in action.
03:31And here's one of the hardest lessons I learned.
03:35Love, even when it's hard.
03:40People may not appreciate your efforts.
03:43They may push back, reject you, or not even care.
03:47But serving is not about getting approval.
03:51It's about responding to God's call.
03:53So don't force yourself on someone who doesn't want you.
03:58But don't stop reaching out either.
04:01God never stops calling.
04:05Imagine if God gets frustrated, just like us humans, what world would be.
04:12Instead, He patiently waits for your yes.

04:30Don't wait for everything to feel right.
04:33Right.
04:34Just start saying yes.

05:08The excuses that hold us back.
05:10Ang dami nating excuses when we're being invited to serve or when we're being called to serve.
05:15I'm too young.
05:16I'm too old.
05:17I'm too busy.
05:18I'm too tired.
05:19I don't have time.
05:22We all have reasons.
05:24Life is full of them.
05:26But extraordinary people, listen carefully, they respond to God despite the hindrances.
05:33They choose to love, they choose to give, they choose to serve, even when it's inconvenient.
05:42So ask yourself, what's stopping you?
05:45What's stopping you to serve?
05:47What's stopping you to say yes?
05:49Maybe it's fear, that's natural, pride, or just convenience.
05:54That's okay.
05:56It's normal.
05:58But don't let it stop you from saying yes.
06:01Start small.
06:03One act of love, one act of service, one simple yes can make a difference.
06:11Serving is not just a one-time thing.
06:13It's daily.
06:15God's call is consistent.
06:17He's not asking for perfection.
06:20He's asking for willingness.
06:23Even if you're already serving, His call is an everyday invitation.
06:29Love someone today.
06:30Encourage someone today.
06:32Help someone today.
06:33That's what it means to follow Him.
06:36Even though we are already serving, God calls us every day.
06:41Reminds us every day to love like Him.
06:46So my dear friends, let's answer that call.
06:49Say yes today and see what God can do through your willingness.
