Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Assam on Saturday morning to inaugurate and lay the foundation stones for multiple developmental projects worth approximately Rs 5,400 crore. A key highlight of the visit was the inauguration of the Kumar Bhaskar Varma Setu, a 1.24-kilometre-long six-lane bridge over the mighty Brahmaputra River.

00:53Remember, there is a major six-lane bridge, the Kumar Bhaskar Varman Setu that we are speaking of,

08:33Kumar Bhaskar Varma,
08:35and this particular bridge
08:38is connecting Guwahati
08:40to North Guwahati.
08:41Previously,
08:42we had to go through
08:44different,
08:44go through
08:45to a different route,
08:47and it was very congested,
08:48and it took a lot of time
08:50to reach from Guwahati
08:52to North Guwahati,
08:53but after this bridge,
08:54and this bridge was initially,
08:57it was planned in 2016,
