00:00Hi guys, it's Lita, and that's my dog.
00:03So when I woke up this morning, I, for some reason, felt just really off and kind of negative.
00:11And I was just thinking about it, and I think that it's like really, really distorted, like, what's okay to
00:18feel and what's not okay to feel.
00:20The truth is that it's okay to feel anything.
00:23Like, I don't think that's really said enough.
00:26Just the fact that whatever you're feeling, that's it.
00:29Like, that's just how you're feeling right now.
00:32You don't have to try and change it.
00:33You don't have to, like, try and control it or force it.
00:35That's what's naturally happening to you.
00:37That's what you naturally feel.
00:41And that's okay.
00:42I guess this morning, when I woke up and was just in a really, really bad mood, I was kind
00:49of, like, disappointed in myself.
00:50I kind of just made myself feel really guilty about it.
00:55But the truth is, you really don't have to feel guilty ever.
00:59About what you're feeling, no matter what it is.
01:03You know, whether you're in a good mood or a bad mood or anything, that's just how you are that
01:08day and how you are at this very moment.
01:10And, you know, there will always be people who, you know, particularly, like, parents and stuff and, like, teachers and
01:18what I've noticed.
01:22Just say, you know, like, oh, stopping so down, you know, stopping so negative and, you know, just be happy
01:29as if that's, like, something that's entirely possible for everyone.
01:34So I guess this is just to say that, like, if you feel sad or if you feel alone, if
01:42you feel like the world is against you, if you feel angry at the world, if you feel just anything,
01:48no matter what you're feeling, just don't feel guilty about it.
01:50And don't let anyone else put guilt on you.
01:54And I also kind of wanted to touch on a different subject.
01:56This is brought to my attention almost every single day and it's on my mind every single day.
02:00If you can't stay clean and if you slipped up and ended up hurting yourself in any way, I'm not
02:07just talking about, like, you know, cutting or burning or bruising, any self-destructive behavior that you've taken part in,
02:15don't be disappointed in yourself.
02:17Don't be upset with yourself.
02:19It happens to all of us who go through things like that and, you know, this is just a coping
02:24mechanism and sometimes you really can't control it.
02:28Um, and I know that a lot of you who do use self-harm as a coping mechanism want to
02:35be able to stop and that you want to be able to control it.
02:37I understand that it's not something that you can really, really, um, grasp control on.
02:44I mean, I, of course, don't want to know that you're hurting yourselves, but I understand, um, I know that
02:51it just happens sometimes.
02:52And I just, I just wanted to get that message across that don't be disappointed in yourself for that.
02:58It's okay to slip up.
03:00If you slipped up today or yesterday or last week or five minutes ago or anything like that, it's okay.
03:05And you can always start again.
03:07You can always try again to just stay clean.
03:09It's all right.
03:11I just wanted to let you know that, um, you're definitely not alone in that.
03:15There's thousands and thousands of people just like you who are going through the exact same thing and we understand
03:20and we are there for you.
03:22And I just wanted to let you know that there is no reason to be ashamed.
03:25There's no reason to feel guilty for doing this to yourself.
03:28There's no reason to feel guilty for being sad or angry or whatever.
03:32And you can always try again and you can always grow.
03:35There's always room to grow.
03:36There's always time to get better.
03:38And there's always a possibility to.
03:40I know that sometimes you might think that, you know, just you specifically can't get through this and that you
03:47don't have the power and the will to go forth and stop yourself from doing things like this.
03:54But I'm telling you, you can.
03:56Um, it's going to take, it's going to take some time and it's going to take a few attempts.
03:59Like, there's always going to be some times when you slip up and you mess up and, you know, you're
04:05going to want to be disappointed in yourself and you're going to want to tell yourself that you can't do
04:09it and you're going to want to try and give up.
04:10Don't.
04:11Don't give up.
04:12Just get right back up and try again.
04:14Start over from day one.
04:15It's okay.
04:16You're definitely not alone and I will be there for you guys as much as I possibly can.
04:20And for those of you who have been clean for even a day, I'm really proud of you.
04:25And for those of you who have made it to a couple months, I'm so freaking proud of you.
04:30And for those of you who've made it to a year, I'm so proud of you.
04:33And like beyond that, so proud of you.
04:35And I want you to know that I will always be proud of you and I'm always going to be
04:38there for you guys as much as I possibly can.
04:41And, um, that you're just, you're just not alone in, in that.
04:46And I know that it's something that's really hard to deal with.
04:48Um, it's, it's really inexplainable unless you've dealt with it yourself and, um, I just like, I don't know, I
04:56just, I'm always going to be there for you and I'll always understand.
05:00And, um, I'm just really proud of you guys for even trying.
05:05And I just hope that this serves as some encouragement, um, to keep trying because I know that you guys
05:12can do it.
05:12Every single one of you, um, you specifically can do this and you will make it.
05:18I promise you.
05:19I'm like contact just moved, but I promise you, you'll be okay.

05:49not realistic sometimes.
05:51Um, and that's okay.
05:54So, I love you guys with all my heart.
05:56Seriously, I, I like, I don't have words for that, but, um, yeah.
06:01And I'm, I'm proud of all of you and thank you for motivating me to just keep going.
