00:00all right next fans we are at the halfway well not really the halfway point but
00:19the all-star break we are here at the break the knicks have played 55 games
00:23and now we'll have a little bit of a break jalen brunson and carolty towns they will be headed out
00:28to la so it's a good time to evaluate how the knicks have looked through the first 55 games
00:35and we are going to do that with our great knicks beat writer here for the new york post
00:39my guy stephan bondi joins me now steph what's going on man what's up man good to hear from you
00:44oh man always always good to talk to you and i look i'm sure like the players you are happy for
00:50this break you get a little bit of a break for the team hopefully you are able to uh enjoy it
00:54but you had a column today where you gave the knicks a report card you looked through and
00:59graded all the players we're going to do some grading here myself and steph we're going to do
01:03it a little bit differently i'll get to that in a second but we did have some news come down today
01:07the knicks made a move in the buyout market they add jeremy sohan the 22 year old wing
01:13from the spurs who got released by them what did you make of this move of the knicks adding sohan
01:18as their buyout target here yeah i mean they had they had this little hole that needed to be filled
01:24and that is the backup you know front court slash forward situation that was supposed to go to
01:31yavaselli and it hasn't worked out and that didn't work out and he's gone so they had this hole
01:36um that they filled and you know with the limited resources they had they're taking a
01:42a gamble a flyer whatever you want to call it on somebody who you know is athletic has some upside
01:49he's young um and see if it works out but you know he there's a reason he didn't work out in san antonio
01:55um you know when talking to you know sources who were familiar with the situation there it's just he
02:03wasn't a good enough shooter he wasn't a good enough defender and there's skepticism he'll figure it out but
02:09um he's still young so he still can and i think that um you know the the knicks had some so a hole
02:15to fill and they were able to get somebody in the buyout market what do you how do the knicks see
02:21his role here you know because you hear those things you heard from the sources uh through san antonio
02:25and that you know not a good shooter we know he can defend a little bit we have seen that they tried
02:29him out a point guard a couple of years ago what do you think his impact could be on this next team and
02:34i know you and i are both in the same boat with this always if you're getting too excited about a
02:38buyout guy you might be doing too much right so what what do you think his role is here and and how
02:44does it work out for this next team the rest of the way i think he's going to get a shot when there are
02:48injuries like i think to me you know this is my opinion this is not talking to anybody to me
02:54muhammad diawara has proven himself to be somebody that i'd want to invest in further rather than
03:01supplant him in the rotation so if that if that's the case if you're looking at well now
03:06sohan's going to get diawara's minutes i think that that would be a mistake i think that uh diawara
03:12has shown that he can hit the open three-pointers at an impressive clip um he knows his role uh he
03:18doesn't try to do too much uh so if that if that's the case that to me would be a mistake but
03:25listen if og's not going to play um because he's injured for whatever reason and you know josh hart
03:31has been banged up with the ankle you have opportunities for some playing time um with
03:36diawara or alongside diawara or you know alternating with diawara so i think that that that's that's where
03:45you're talking about how sohan can get some minutes i don't know where the next plan on putting him
03:49on the depth chart in regards to diawara though let me ask you this in regards to diawara because
03:56i agree with you 100 and i've been high on diawara and i said i've liked i've liked how he's looked
04:00he doesn't look lost defensively as you said he doesn't try to do too much would you be shocked
04:05with the way we've seen mike brown give a minute steph would you be shocked if sohan was getting
04:10minutes over diawara because that would be a little shocking to me right now what do you say to that
04:13i mean i i don't know about shock but i'd be surprised like i i think like i said i think he's
04:20earned his spot right now diawara and you know yeah he he has moments where you're like all right he
04:27doesn't really he's not really ready you know you have to understand this is a guy who everybody
04:31projected as a project potential stash overseas and then he signs a contract basically out of
04:37necessity with the knicks because they needed to get the lowest amount of salary possible and their
04:41only option at the time was diawara um so for him to come in and really gain a rotation spot over
04:49become dottie over some other guys who you who are projected ahead of him um i think has been
04:54impressive and i think it deserves a longer look um and i think the knicks feel the same way i mean
04:58if you hear mike brown or um or diawara's teammates talking about him they're all they're all excited
05:05about the way he's playing yeah they have been for sure you've definitely heard him say that as well
05:09do you think sohan there's anything to the idea that sohan if he does get minutes whatever minutes
05:14that is that he can bring some of the intensity that we've seen already in a short period of
05:19time three games from jose alvarado do you think he can bring that kind of energy to this next ball
05:24club no because that's impossible yeah fair point jose alvarado's energy is one of his own
05:31that is yeah it's a different it's a different aura with with jose than probably 98 of the nba
05:39that is that that is that is fair and as somebody watch i know you talked to joe arbitello i spoke
05:44with him uh knowing him a long time talked to him yesterday and he said pretty much the same thing
05:48he's like same same dude you seen so hey if sohan can get 50 of jose alvarado's energy i think
05:56nix fans there you go would be happy would be happy with that okay let's get into the grading
06:00because you did a fantastic job in your column you graded out all the players we're going to do
06:04things a little bit differently here me and steph so we're both going to give our grades we're going
06:08to go with the offense the defense we're going to grade mike brown and we're also going to grade
06:12leon rose now two of those steph has done already in his column that you can check out nypost.com
06:19but steph the offense this nix team was expected to be good offensively you and i talked about this
06:26from the start on media day mike brown was brought here to maximize the offense particularly starting
06:31five they have been good they've been in the top five top three pretty much all year long in terms
06:36of offensive rating what grade do you give this offense through the first 55 games um b plus just
06:43because what you mentioned um they've been top five rated um i think last i checked and this was
06:50before the philly game where they just went off they were number four so yeah they do have great
06:55offensive weapons when you look at you know jalen brunson and carl anthony towns and you say yeah
07:00they should be good on offense but to be in the top four in this league when you look across the board
07:06and all the different talents um in the nba um i think that's a good result for them and you know it
07:12wasn't linear in terms of how it was done um they started one way uh in terms schematically and and
07:19adjusted and then are coming back to where they started more recently um but i think you know no
07:27matter how you you know it doesn't matter how you get there it it matters the results and the results
07:32have been good for the offense um you know jalen brunson has been playing more off the ball and you know
07:38certainly in philly he did against and so you know that's something that that mike brown had wanted
07:43to do and that looked good in philly and at times he's more on the ball but you know i think he's
07:48good at adjusting i'm talking about mike brown he's good at adjusting and based on the matchup and based
07:53on the way the defenses are playing the knicks he finds different ways for this offense to be good so
07:58i would give this offense a b b okay i think i think that's fair i'm gonna i'm gonna go a little
08:04higher than you i'm gonna give them a b plus uh they moved up according to cleaning the glass had
08:08them up to third and offensive rating cleaning the glass takes out all the garbage time and they've
08:12been helped by some big offensive performance 49 point blowout but philly that we just saw last
08:17night and then the 54 point blowout uh against the nets now look i'm not going crazy about that i think
08:23where i agree with you stuff on that is that i maybe you agree me on this and we could talk about
08:27this here i just think the offense looks more versatile more adaptable than lat than we saw last year
08:33and i'm not trying to make this a tibbs versus mike brown comparison but fans will do that but the
08:37offense looks better and seems to have a higher ceiling so i'll give them a b plus would you agree
08:42that there's a higher ceiling to this offense you think they can get even better than maybe what we've
08:47seen from them thus far well i'm willing to listen to why you feel that way what what is different that
08:53looks better i was okay so one thing i'll say and that you started is that with jalen brunson playing off
08:59the ball i just think that gives them more versatility that he will not be as worn out
09:03throughout the game also feel like mikhail bridges and og and anobi they just understand their roles
09:09and flow in the offense better yes they are getting to the corners and sprinting out you've seen a lot
09:13of that as well too but i think that has looked better the one concern i'd have before to get it
09:19someplace else i think the player that hasn't looked great in this offense is gromty towns and we've
09:24talked about this all year and i forgot what grade you gave him in your column but i remember it was not
09:28good and i thought it was a fair grade it was not a good one i think it was fair because he has
09:34struggled a lot in the offense particularly when he gets the ball mike brown has once used him more
09:37as a hub but we haven't exactly seen that um so that would be my one that would be my knock there
09:43but i just think the fact that jalen brunson's been off the ball a little bit more that has helped
09:47them um i think it's unlocked some of the shooters there on on the team particularly on the wings
09:52that's my thing do i know i'm not i don't know if it can get better than that that's what i'm
09:56questioning is it is it better than what we've seen i don't know i think it's more efficient i
10:01think the um i guess the ceiling is for me the ceiling is higher based on the efficiencies higher
10:08because what they've become that they weren't last season was they they become a much more high volume
10:14three-pointing three-point shooting team um and they're taking a lot from the corners which is
10:19you know analytically is one of the most efficient shots in the nba so um they are finding ways to
10:26get to that corner three mikhail bridges has been excellent from that area he's been disappearing in
10:31other areas he also did not get the best grade in my um in my midterm report card but yeah um i think
10:39when you look at reasons why you want to say this this offense can be better it's because they're better
10:45at generating three-pointers and i think that's the big difference from last season to this season
10:51the other the one other thing i had and we can move on to the defense is i thought and i thought you
10:56saw some of this in philadelphia we've seen it some other games when there is off-ball movement and i
11:01don't mean this just from jalen brunson but from other players you saw it with mikhail bridges
11:04in the last game against philly when guys are cutting and moving well it looks really good but we
11:09haven't always seen that which has been a little frustrating because sometimes the knicks have i guess you
11:14call reverting back to old habits right with the ball sticking a little bit much guys aren't moving
11:18as much when they are well yet it does look good well yesterday i don't know what the hell nick nurse
11:23was thinking like every time there was a screen he or even when there wasn't he would just blitz
11:29jalen brunson and so they were doubling jalen brunson every time and he was just finding open men and
11:35when uh you're facing that type of defense and jalen brunson is always going to make
11:40the smart play um then you it compels you to cut more because you know you're going to be open
11:47and you're going to find different avenues to get open because they're doubling one guy so
11:51i think that game in particular was just a product of a stupid scheme by um nick nurse and the knicks
11:57taking advantage of it they did exactly like for instance um carlisle didn't do that carlisle was like
12:02all right you know beat us one-on-one and you know we're going to help when we can but we're not
12:08going to blitz you like that yeah and and jalen brunson well this kind of brings me to something
12:12i do want to ask you about the offense because you had a good tweet about this the other day
12:15and i want to let you speak on this there's been some criticism from the fans particularly after
12:19that indiana game where jalen brunson had his 40 piece and he shot more and then we saw against
12:24philadelphia though i i do agree with you that that was more to him playing to the scheme
12:28that nick nurse was blitzing him every time and he only took six shots there's there's a narrative
12:34among the fan base that you'll see on social media that jalen brunson is a ball hog or jalen
12:39brunson shooting too much hurts the team what do you say to that well in the context of that coming
12:48out there were two things one was it was well if he takes this many shots they have a better record
12:54than if he takes um more shots right and that's just a stupid stat because um he's going to take fewer
13:02shots in blowout wins and they've had a bunch of blowout wins for reasons i shouldn't have to
13:06explain um he's going to play less in those games so on top on top of that um you're when you're
13:13talking about good defenses and good opponents that tend to have a better record against the
13:19knicks um they're going to compel um less ball movement from the knicks and more isolation which
13:25is what indiana did um and they're not a good team but they were certainly motivated to beat the
13:30knicks they were i don't the thing about that game is they did the right thing they they have
13:34this rivalry against the knicks and they have a bet much better team than their record and they said
13:39we're going to go and try to win that game and then on the flip side you look at what the brooklyn
13:43nets did when they came to the garden they had a chance the knicks were on the ropes at that point
13:47uh they had just lost that terrible game to dallas and uh the nets really had a chance to really
13:53bury the knicks at that point and they just threw up their hands and had the word their worst game of
13:57the season and acted like they didn't want to be there so i thought that was a big difference just
14:01in terms of opponents but um back to jalen brunson um to the idea that you're going to take the ball
14:08out of the hands of the clutch player of the year down the stretch of games when the defenses
14:14are playing harder they're they're forcing you to play this isolation style as we will see
14:20definitely in the playoffs and definitely down the stretch of close games like against the denver
14:25nuggets when nobody was complaining that jalen brunson was playing in isolations and cooking
14:30and taking 27 shots or however many he took because he was making them and more often than
14:35not jalen brunson will make them i remember game two against the pistons the knicks lost and there was
14:42all this criticism about jalen brunson is you know he's a ball he's two ball dominant he's a ball hog this
14:49and that nobody was saying that when he crossed up a sword thompson in game six in ice on isolation
14:56play and hit that shot that's who he is that's that's that's your big advantage if you're the
15:01knicks you have a player who can create for himself in these in down the stretch of games and hit clutch
15:08shots so the idea that you need to you need he needs to give up the ball in those situations to me
15:14is just stupid i agree with you one thousand percent i agree with you a thousand percent i
15:19didn't we didn't hear a thing after the double overtime game against uh the nuggets when he
15:25he was brilliant especially in especially late in the fourth quarter and both overtimes he was
15:30fantastic you didn't hear a word about how many shots all you heard was oh captain brought him home
15:35to your point this is who he is sometimes it's not going to work sometimes and i think he also
15:41deserves credit while i agree with you about the scheme with nick nurse that we saw against
15:45philadelphia jalen brunson didn't force anything against philly he played he made the right
15:49basketball plays as you mentioned so i think and i and i'm willing to bet now this game was
15:54obviously a blowout i'm willing to bet that if that game was close down the stretch um it would
16:00it would have been different and he wouldn't there wouldn't be these opportunities to find cutters
16:04because the defense would have switched up and he would we would have had to see clutch clutch
16:09captain clutch jalen brunson take it home down the stretch and more often than not
16:13that's going to work in the nick's favor i agree i agree we do these live shows and there's a fan
16:17that consistently comes in and comments and he believes the team would actually be better starting
16:21tyler colic i've actually heard this stuff i've actually all right yeah i've actually heard it
16:26all right let's move on to the details no go ahead you got something to say go no i was saying tyler's
16:31not you know for the tyler colic fans it stinks because right now he's not playing at all
16:36because uh jose alvarado came in yeah this that's that's how it goes sometimes okay on to the defense
16:42um this is a defense that's been interesting you and i have talked about this a lot
16:46at games this season we talked even a couple weeks ago the next defense has been better after that two
16:52and nine stretch that we saw in january what grade would you give this defense which you can
16:57really say has been up and down this season what grade would you give this defense through the first
17:0055 games all right so i'm gonna amend my offense grade i think i started with a b plus and then
17:07ended with a b so i'm gonna just say it's a b plus all right so where are you worried it's b plus okay
17:11all right um i'm gonna give the defense a b minus and you know early in the season it was terrible
17:19um they were we were thinking how could they possibly consider themselves title contenders if
17:26you're ranked in the 20s on defense uh but i think we had a chat and i've written it too around that
17:33loss in detroit after dolan spoke about how there was a schematic problem um that they were forcing
17:40players to the uh to the middle on instead of to the side and to baseline which is not really
17:48how you grow up playing basketball or what you see more more often in the nba i think at one point
17:52it was just the knicks and the clippers doing that and they switched that and you know i think
17:58that had a big you know that that made a big difference in what and how they've been playing
18:03lately it took them a while to get used to it but now they have a much better defense last i checked
18:08they were number 11 that was before the sixers game um which they did have a good defensive game so
18:13maybe they're top 10 and you can win a championship with the top 10 defense um mike brown has been willing
18:18to you know let his assistants darren ermine and brendan o'connor kind of adjust he's been
18:24kind of deferring to them we've been talking all along about how you know it's supposed to be a
18:29collaborative effort with mike brown and he you know he's allowed them to make those changes he's
18:33been listening to them he's listening to the players on that they'd obviously prefer to have you
18:38know force guys to the baseline and to the side and i think that they you know the combination of that
18:43plus they look like they've just been trying a little bit harder on defense has made a difference and
18:48now you're looking at the possibility of a top 10 defense which is pretty good for this club
18:52which is crazy in terms of where they were because if you would have if i'd asked you this question
18:56we told you we did a video after the mavericks game i don't know we i think the grade might have
19:01been c minus i think the grade we might be worse yeah might have been talking about a d right at that
19:07point i agree yeah i can't say i disagree with you much here the b minus grade i think is fair um you're
19:14right they're 11th in defensive rating at the time of us recording this um they're knocking on the
19:18door of the top 10 i've said all year i didn't know how high they could get stuff and i guess i'm
19:24intrigued to see with the way they've been playing now what you think i always said maybe if if things
19:28broke right they could be a top 8 to 10 defense do you think they could get to that that range
19:32you know by the end of the season do you think that because i agree with your b minus grade for the
19:36first 55 games but what do you think their potential is beyond this coming the way they're playing
19:41right now do you feel like they can get to that 8 to 10 range by the season's end um i don't know
19:48i mean i would have to look at you know who's on who's ahead of them right now to see who they can
19:52leapfrog who might take steps take steps back so i haven't done that kind of research yet so i can't
19:57tell you top eight you know the the potential for top eight but they weren't a very good team
20:03defensive team last season um personnel wise there are issues obviously with with you know having
20:11jalen and carl anthony towns in the lineup at the same time um so i think you know maybe i i have
20:19to check like who's ahead of them and and you know how high they can go so i was just looking i was just
20:25looking for you real quick to some teams that are ahead of them um in terms of defensive rating i'm just
20:30looking really quick so this is according to cleaning the glass boston's ahead of them at eight
20:34steph um you have cleveland they're technically 12th in cleaning the glass which takes out garbage
20:39top cleveland's ahead of them at 11 um well they can definitely leapfrog those two teams i think that
20:47boston's going to take a step back with bucevich golden state is ahead of them at 10 i would agree
20:52that's another team you think they possibly could leapfrog that i mean that's that's that's what we're
20:56that's what we're talking about right here uh toronto seven
20:59so can they move i mean they have very good they have good individual defenders um
21:06if brandon ingram's committed to playing defense which isn't always the case that's not that is
21:11that is not always the case okay so i agree with you b minus i think it's a fair grade but like i
21:15said i think both of us weeks ago we would have said d because they looked terrible that defense was
21:20not looking good at all whatsoever okay coaching this was the the big change for the knicks this
21:26offseason you and we talked a lot about in the summer mike brown is here tom thibodeau's out
21:30they i we know mike brown is going to really get judged and graded in the playoffs we both know that
21:35but through the first 55 games when you look at how he's coached his team what grade do you give him
21:40i gave him a b um and i you know i don't want to repeat myself because i i said a lot about him i talked
21:47a lot about him with the offense and the defense and the collaborative part the reason why i can't go
21:52higher than a b is because the record is the exact they're on they're on pace to have the exact same
21:58record that they had last season so um you know if i'm just looking at the results the wins and losses
22:04you know you don't fire a coach and hire a new one to have the same exact number of wins and losses so
22:09that's why i can't give him above a b do okay well i'll go with this you and i talked a lot last year
22:19about the minutes police which we have not heard those people as loud this year i think you would
22:25agree with me they've been a little been a little bit quiet although minutes have kind of started
22:29trending towards being similar to where it was do you think mike brown's done a better job of managing
22:34the rotation giving guys opportunities younger guys do you let does the mix and matching that he's
22:38done a little bit that it appears a little bit more than thibodeau does that give him any maybe edge
22:44would agree yeah i think he deserves some credit with that i you know i don't know i don't want to
22:50get i don't want to get too crazy about speculating and projecting about things that didn't happen but
22:55you know i don't know if tom thibodeau ever allows dor the chance to you know crack this starting lineup
23:03in the rotation and allow him to kind of blossom in ways that we didn't think were possible when we
23:08were talking about a second round pick from france so um you know tyler kola didn't work out like they
23:16envisioned um but he did give him a shot kevin mcculler's not playing pakom dadi is not playing
23:21um but i give him credit for muhammad diawara i do too and so i was thinking about my grade
23:28i want to say b plus but i feel you on the point of the of the record and the trajectory of where they are
23:36so while i i again i'm speculating here i'm with you not really sure tom thibodeau would have played
23:43mo dirar maybe he would have i don't know i do think you do have credit for that but i'm not sure
23:47that's more than the record yeah i think i'm with you i'm gonna go with a b i i b plus is
23:52look he got he won nba cup if you care about that um okay no you know i didn't even factor
24:00that in sure so you know what i'll give him a b plus he's he's okay he's an nba cup title winning
24:07coach all right if that counts for something i'll give him the b plus just just to be a little
24:12different all right so b plus and b we have for we have for mike brown but listen i think we both
24:16agree he'll really be judged when it comes to the playoffs uh last thing for me steph leon rose
24:22who we do not get from uh what grade do you give him because i i are we factoring in everything
24:29we're looking at the offseason moves uh moves at the deadline buyout pickup of jerry sohan
24:34what's his grade what do you give us so the way i felt the way i did it was i graded based on what
24:42he's done and what we've seen from what he's done so i didn't i always i thought the trade for jose
24:48alvarado is great i've been pit you know a pining for that for for a while um and it's obviously
24:54worked out for two of the three games um but i didn't factor it into my grade because i think
25:00you can't really judge a trade a week after it's done um so what what i what i what i did do was i
25:09looked at what he did in the offseason and trying to upgrade the bench where um you got
25:14yabaselli that was a terrible signing clarkson has not worked out malcolm brogdon did not work out
25:21um and uh the draft did i mean diawara did work out so i gave him a c minus and there's somebody
25:30i'm forgetting because there was another positive but i have to look back in my article to think of
25:35who that is c minus okay yeah does he because i i mean i i think that he did a good job recovering
25:42from the yabaselli thing um so he got helped out let me ask you this then if he didn't recover from
25:50let's say they couldn't have moved they didn't move yabaselli what grade was he gonna get that
25:55i'm almost i'm almost scared to know no no so it's same same grade because i i'm fact c minus
26:00because i'm factoring what what what we've seen from what he's done not projecting a trade that just
26:08happened a week ago yeah i mean i like it i think it's a great trade but i'm not i didn't factor it
26:13into the grade that i did for my article because for every other player i wasn't projecting what they
26:18might do for the rest of the season i'm projecting what they did so far they did what they did up to
26:22this up to this point and yeah to be fair i see your point and because you've only had three games of
26:28production from jose alvarado at the time even at the time it was doing this it's hard to say and when i
26:32i wrote that i also wrote the report card before yesterday okay so i really only had
26:39yeah you really only two should he is it somebody might push back and say steph does he not get
26:45credit for just getting off the yabaselli deal does that does he get any credit for that regardless of
26:51what the production has been from alvarado is there any credit that you gave him for just
26:55getting off of that bad signing because i do agree it wasn't a good signing does he get any credit for
26:59moving off of it or or or do you look at it the other way where it's like the fact you had to
27:03move off of it is just so bad in the first place i see there's two ways yeah i mean again now we're
27:09we're speculating on what's going to happen in the future i you know jose alvarado could get hurt
27:14tomorrow and be out for the whole season and then you're like it's still a what it's still a terrible
27:19um you know because the the whole point was you had this you had this cap space and your bench was
27:26absolutely utterly terrible last year and your job is to improve the bench and your two big biggest
27:33three biggest signings really uh well oh the other one i gave him a lot of credit for i forgot to
27:38mention this is landry shaman oh yeah okay yeah yeah okay yeah and you're out yeah yeah yeah so um
27:47you know your job is to upgrade the bench and you have this cap space and then you spend it all on
27:52on yabaselli and clarkson that's what i was basing it on yeah no i no i see it i'm trying to and i'm
27:59trying to stay in the same parameters as you because i think what i was going to give him a c plus actually
28:05but okay but that was because i was saying he did a pretty good job of getting off the bad contract
28:11yabaselli we thought we talked about this a ton we thought he might have had to attach more picks
28:15um but to your point and i do think it's a fair one it's hard to judge you can't judge a trade in
28:23three games you can't i know the fans are excited i like you thought alvarado would be a good move
28:27for this team um yabaselli was a disaster i do think it was good that he got off of him but you're
28:34right i don't know how good that move is going to be you're right alvarado could get hurt yeah it's
28:37fair it's it's more than a fair point so honestly when i think about your criteria
28:42c minus feels fair because the goal was to upgrade the bench i don't remember i do not
28:50remember your thoughts initially steph on the yabaselli and clarkson signings i remember i did
28:55i liked it i thought they were good moves um the bench has not been as good as we thought it would
29:00be that's just i mean out off the bench outside of deuce deuce is a good player mitch has been good
29:07when he plays and lanchard champ has been good when he plays but that's kind of like last year you're
29:11three players just yeah that was so that was that's what i graded on uh so yeah that was that
29:18that was my criteria so you know what when i think about your criteria which i think is fair
29:22yeah c minus i can rock with a c minus i think i think that's i think that's i think that's more than
29:27fair there's a world in which we talk about this end of season and alvarado plays good and has a
29:31great playoff run and maybe it's different but that's the future all right so that that's that's why
29:36these are that's why these are the midterm grades and then we will we'll do fine we'll link back up
29:41and do final grade it could be draft it's gonna be professor dex professor bondi we're gonna have
29:46to we're gonna have to link back up do you think i don't want to give away the grades people please
29:51go read the column that steph has up there he graded all the players everybody got a grade nobody got
29:56left out he graded all the players steph do you think there's any grade you gave without saying the
30:01grade that you think fans might be a little salty about um no because i'm correct on everything
30:11no see i like that if you're gonna be handing out the grades you have to say no that's my grade
30:17i stand on it i'm a fair grader there's no grading on a curve that's not what we do here
30:22and you have to deal with it that that's how it goes there you go everybody that is the great
