00:08And I'd love to be able to use this with my band a lot.
00:11However, I'm trying to beat the whole Walmart Eddie Van Halen allegations that I get from time to time on
00:17some Instagram comments.
00:18So my plan is to combine this design with my gold splatter that I did on the star guitar build
00:25shortly after this.
00:26This is still going to be a tribute to the king, I just would like to combine the two to
00:30make it a little more original.
00:31So what I have here is I have some more of the Aztec gold paint from Stumac, as well as
00:35their brand new relic clear coat that I want to try using.
00:38So I'm going to take this part now, and we can get started.
00:55So I have these patches by Insane Skins, which I love.
01:01I have a whole bunch of these.
01:01I put them on some of my other guitars, and as you can see, it basically makes it look like
01:05it's been relic'd, and they just refinish.
01:08However, I'm going to use these kind of in a backwards direction.
01:13So I'm actually going to put these on, and then paint over them, and then take them off.
01:19So that way, it'll look like a refinish job, but you'll see the stripes underneath.
01:26So that's how I'm going to use these.
