00:00Hey Suns fans, and welcome in, we are just hours away from tip-off, here in Phoenix,
00:06but we have to start with some tough news regarding the lineup, for tonight's matchup
00:09against the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Suns will be without both Devin Booker and Jalen Green.
00:15Officially, Booker is listed as out due to right ankle injury management, Green is also out,
00:20dealing with right hamstring injury management, that is not all, Grayson Allen is sidelined,
00:26with a right knee sprain, Isaiah Livers is out, with a left shoulder sprain, and Cole Anthony is
00:32also listed as out, as he is not with the team, both Allen and Livers are scheduled to be re
00:37-evaluated,
00:38after the NBA All-Star break. Now, let's talk about Book. He did suit up, for the last, two, games.
00:45In those two appearances, he shot 42.9% from the floor, and 28.6% from three-point range,
00:53he averaged exactly 20 points, three rebounds, and 7.5 assists per game, while playing 32 minutes a
01:00night. Before that two-game stretch, Booker had missed seven straight games, due to that lingering
01:05ankle issue. For the season, he has played in 43 games, his shooting splits sit at 45.5% from
01:12the
01:12field, and 31.1% from deep, he is averaging 25.2 points, four rebounds, and 6.3 assists, across
01:2133.9 minutes per contest. As for Jalen Green, he was also coming off his own two-game return,
01:28in those games, he averaged 10 points per game, on 35% shooting, and, just 18.2% from long
01:36range,
01:37he added two rebounds and 3.5 assists, in 18.5 minutes per game. Before Phoenix's win over the
01:44Dallas Mavericks, Green spoke very honestly, about where his mind is at. He admitted he is still
01:50searching for that normal rhythm, the hamstring issue has limited him to only seven games this
01:55season, two of which he started, he told reporters on Monday, and I quote,
01:59I feel myself being a little cautious, with certain drives that I could have attempted,
02:04just thinking about it, it's something you don't want to happen again, obviously, no one wants to
02:09be injured, there are times where I think about it, man, I should have drove, but, I'm hesitant,
02:15that's going to go out the window, once I get some games under my belt, and becoming unconscious,
02:21and forget about it. Now, switching sides, the Thunder are not at full strength either.
02:26For tonight's game here in Phoenix, Oklahoma City will be without Shea Gilgis Alexander,
02:31due to an abdominal strain, rookie AJ Mitchell is also out with the same injury.
02:35So with both teams missing key pieces, the question I have for you is this,
02:39with Book and Jalen both sidelined tonight, who steps up and becomes that vocal leader on the floor,
02:44for us, I want to know, what you are thinking, drop it in the comments.
