00:30Why doesn't she come in as the model? Huh? I'm the model. Okay, one second. Hi. I set up
00:36for the other girl. I set up for the other girl. I can't.
01:30Okay.
01:32You can sit right here, love.
01:34Perfecto.
01:36Okay.
01:38Okay.
01:40Okay.
01:42Okay.
01:44Okay.
01:46Okay.
01:48Okay.
01:50Okay.
01:52Okay.
01:54Okay.
01:56Okay.
01:58Okay.
01:59Perfect.
02:01Perfect.
02:03Let's sit here.
02:11So essentially with any makeup prep,
02:13you want to always start with your skin care.
02:15Skin care is going to be essential in how the makeup lays,
02:19how it wears throughout the day.
02:23No matter if your skin is oily or dry,
02:25it's always important to really hydrate and prep the face.
02:29I know a lot of people that have oily skin are afraid of moisturizers,
02:33but essentially the moisturizer is going to be a barrier that's going to protect your skin
02:37and allow that makeup to lay really, really well.
02:41Here I'm using Neutrogena's Hydro Boost to hydrate her skin.
02:45I love this moisturizer because it's a water-based moisturizer.
02:49So it really allows your skin to be hydrated, supple,
02:53which is essentially what you want in laying the base for the makeup.
02:57I'm also a huge advocate of eye cream.
03:05Prepping that eye area really allows your concealer not to separate
03:09and allowing products to penetrate closer to the eye area.
03:13A lot of people skip eye cream, look up for me.
03:19Eye cream is essentially the only thing that shows age.
03:23So if you want to know how old someone is,
03:25you can always tell by looking at their eye area.
03:27It's important to gently just apply a thin layer of this right on the orbital eye area.
03:32Once that's set, I then like to move to the brows.
03:48Sorry.
03:49I am using a Benefit Brow Pencil.
04:01The first step in doing that is always brushing the brows in the same direction.
04:05This really allows you to sculpt and shape
04:07and really see exactly where you want the brows to be.
04:17Once you have the shape, I then like to start in the middle of the brow,
04:22slowly making light strokes to fill in the brow.
04:27While her hair is naturally maybe a 1B,
04:31I like to go in with a little bit shade of a lighter brown to really help soften the eye.
04:37Again, starting in the middle of the brow and then slightly pulling outward.
04:47I like to leave the inner of the brow clean, so it kind of creates a more natural effect.
04:55If you desire a more defined brow, I also then go in with a powdered eyeshadow.
05:07Literally in the same area, just with an angle brush to add more definition to the brow.
05:17As soon as I can find that brush, I can show you.
05:21So now here with an eyeshadow that's in the same dark brown color, I take this shadow and I apply it right in the same area where that pinta was applied.
05:37So here with an eyeshadow that's in the same dark brown color, I take this shadow and I apply it right in the same area where that pinta was applied.
05:49To then set the brow, I like to pick up a brow gel called Brow Freeze to really tame the brow
06:17and allow you to add feather and strokes and the shape that you desire to your brow.
06:23This allows your brow to lock in place and literally allows you to create whatever shape you desire.
06:31Again, I like to keep the front really feathered and then really locking in the rest of the hairs to kind of tame them and shape them.
06:47Once that brow is in set, I like to move on to the eye area.
06:57For eyeshadow base, I really like to just use concealer.
07:07I really think this really allows your eyeshadow to help stay in place without, close for me, without it moving throughout the day.
07:17I take a very small amount and place it literally on the center of the eyelid and then begin to buff out whatever is left.
07:25This will ensure that your eyeshadow stays intact and in place throughout the day.
07:35You literally want to just pull this product exactly wherever you expect your eyeshadow placement to be.
07:43Fingers always help with warming up products.
07:46If that product ever feels like it's caking or too thick in one area, gently take your fingertip and that's going to allow the product to warm up.
08:03So the key to makeup is always making it easy, effortless, and simple as possible for you.
08:31It also helps to conceal if there's any darkness on the top of your lid that mimics the bottom of your eyelid.
08:37This trick also helps to conceal that.
08:43I'm then taking now a matte brown eyeshadow and I'm placing this right on the corner of her eyelid.
08:51This just allows you to create more depth and definition.
08:54So with the look that we're doing today, we're going to use all brown shades to really shape and define her lid.
09:05While keeping the center of the lid clean, I'm taking that brown shade in the inner, slightly buffing here as well as here.
09:14You can pull out to extend.
09:20You can open for me.
09:23So if you notice, we created shape by leaving the center of her lid clean.
09:27And now I'm applying that same technique on this side.
09:31It's always important to try to mimic what you do on one side to the other side to really make sure your symmetry is there.
09:39I always suggest picking up less product and gradually adding more versus going in with a lot of product.
09:52This gives you more control and more shape.
10:14Once you have that base, I then like to take a cream shadow essentially because we're going for a quick look.
10:20These shadows are really easy to operate.
10:24Literally pick up the shadow with your finger and from there you want to finger press right onto the lid.
10:32This instantly gives your eye a little party, but just enough shimmer and glam that the eye is really stunning.
10:50And again, you want to focus this only in the center of the lid.
11:02Open for me.
11:06I then like to take this waterproof pencil.
11:13It's a Sephora pencil.
11:14It has a 12-hour wear.
11:16I'm going to gently apply this right at the lash line.
11:19Close for me.
11:20This really helps to add shape and definition to your lid.
11:24It's smudge proof and water resistant.
11:26So it really allows you to shape and define the eye.
11:33I like to take a small brush and diffuse that out just so you don't have any harsh lines and gives you a softer appearance of that liner.
11:43I also like to pull it to extend the eye just a bit.
11:50Open for me.
11:54With that same brush, I go in, applying it gently in the center and a little bit thinner on the inner.
12:01So it looks like the liner is just naturally appearing.
12:06And you can kind of pull out and extend depending on your desire or how dramatic you want the eye to be.
12:17And now I'm going to do the same thing to this eye by gently tugging always towards the outer if you want to get your line as straight as possible.
12:26Starting in the inner only allows room for error.
12:30With that same brush, I'm going to pull and extend.
12:42I'm going back in to pull it just a little closer.
12:50And by having the brush, it really allows you to kind of smudge it, which makes it error proof.
12:59Open for me.
13:00Open again.
13:01And again, I like to pull out and wing it out just a bit so it has a little drama to it.
13:27Okay.
13:28I then like to go in with the Nessa Myricks Skin Serum, wherever it is.
13:33Mmm.
13:34Okay.
13:35Well, in the perfect world, that's what I would use.
13:48I'm now going to go in with the concealer.
13:54With concealer, I like to double conceal, going in with one shade as close to the model skin tone as possible.
14:06Literally placing this right here, slightly not as high as you normally would go.
14:15That tends to make the concealer crease.
14:18So by going a little bit lower, it leaves you room to really build and pull that concealer up.
14:27Once that concealer is set, I go in with the damp beauty blender, literally pressing this right into the skin, and bringing that concealer upper a little bit higher.
14:37Picking up a little bit more product with the same concealer and pressing it right into the skin.
14:44Being sure not to go too high so we don't crease.
14:57Once that first layer of concealer is on, I then like to take that same concealer and apply it around the mouth area.
15:16This helps with any discoloration.
15:36And with that same damp beauty blender, pressing that right into the skin.
15:45And now with that same concealer, tracing it throughout the face, bringing it down the bridge of the nose and right on the forehead as well.
16:00And then literally smashing right into the skin with that same beauty blender.
16:14Once that base is set, I then like to go in with a second concealer.
16:18I am going to use the Pat McGrath concealer.
16:21This concealer is a little bit more creamy and gently applying it right in the center of the eye here.
16:29This is going to help brighten and open up the eye area.
16:31When using multiple concealers, it's important to make sure the texture is there.
16:38If we've used something waterproof before, making sure that this concealer is just a little bit more hydrating to add that brightness in her eye area without it being too cakey.
16:53Again, just smashing it right into the face with this beauty blender.
17:04By smashing it, you're able to create it and make it very skin-like.
17:08Look up again for you.
17:31I then smash the same beauty blender throughout the face so that color traces throughout the face.
17:36You never want just the concealer to be here.
17:38We want to see that color throughout your entire face.
17:44For foundation, I'm going to use the Lancome Tintedol foundation.
17:50This is a waterproof — I believe it has a 24-hour wear quality to it as well.
17:55And so starting on the outer of the face, I like to start here.
18:09That way you aren't applying too much product to the face, and pull out.
18:22Color matching.
18:23It's always important to make sure you look at the neck because you want to buff the foundation down so it doesn't jump off the face.
18:30And literally just smashing the foundation right into the skin until it appears skin-like.
18:44Again, because this is a waterproof foundation, you can use as much or as little as you like.
18:48I probably need one more pump, and you're going to get the same amount of coverage.
18:53The beauty about this foundation is that it gives the coverage, but it's also extremely lightweight.
19:07And so you don't feel it on your skin.
19:12Put your lips in for me.
19:24When at the forehead, I try to use as little product as possible because of sweating.
19:29Also, the forehead tends to also be a little bit darker than any other area of the face.
19:34So be sure not to apply too much product and just slightly diffusing that right into the forehead.
19:41It's okay about it not matching exactly because I'm then going to go in with the bronzer to create shape and definition to the face.
19:57You then can pick up that same beauty blender with that foundation, and you just kind of want to smash it into the skin to make sure it's all matching and even.
20:22Once that's set, while we're still dealing with dewy products, I then like to contour with this LYS contour stick.
20:34This really allows you to kind of shape and define the face.
20:37I take a small brush like this, not that one, like this.
20:42It's kind of cut at an angle already, so it's going to really allow you to pull and shape.
20:48I'm going to start at the bridge of the nose.
20:50Taking that brush literally right here and scale it in.
21:03Being sure to use a shade that's about one to two shades darker than her, so it's not jumping off her face.
21:09Right under the nose as well.
21:11Going to take that same product and cut it in the cheek area.
21:18Always tell people when contouring the cheek area not to go too far down because the product itself is already going to slide and glide.
21:26If you're unsure of where to put this product, you can literally put your thumb right here and you'll feel where it should go.
21:35Again, we left the forehead clean. I'm going to add a little of this contour here for a little bit more shape and definition.
21:44Now, with an angled contouring brush, I'm going to use this to really shape and define her cheek area.
21:59You can also reinforce this with a darker powder if you desire more contour.
22:15So, literally just pressing that right into the face and that same shade right at the hairline.
22:23This is going to create a halo effect.
22:25And then now, with a brush that you would normally have used for your eye shadow, a blending brush like this or like this,
22:39I'm going to use that to contour the nose.
22:42Literally just pulling that cream that we put here and pulling it right down.
22:46I also like to take this piece and hook it right into the eye area.
22:50That way you don't see it just on the nose.
22:53Bluffing that right out.
23:02Applying that same technique on this side as well.
23:05And hooking it right into the eye area.
23:18For her cheek area, I'm then going to apply a cream blush.
23:22If I can locate it.
23:23This is a Make Up For Ever cream blush, literally right here at the base of her cheek here.
23:39Just to give a little bit more color.
23:41And with that same beauty blender that we used before, just literally going to take that and dab it right into the cheek area.
23:56I like to use corals and oranges on brown skin to really just kind of pull it out.
24:02That way it doesn't read as a color that you won't see on the face.
24:06If you desire more blush, you can then powder on top of this to really add shape and definition.
24:16So literally placing it as high to kind of lift the face.
24:20And literally just smashing it.
24:22If you turn this way.
24:23As you can see the application here.
24:25And if we desire more, we can kind of go in with the second layer.
24:36Or we can then just take a powder blush and apply it.
24:40If you notice we have not set her under eye.
24:44That's key to the placement of where you put the powder.
24:48I'm now going to take two under eye powders.
24:52And literally put these powders right underneath her under eye.
24:58I like to mix shades to really customize it to get something that's really close to the concealer that you place.
25:08Being sure to kind of wipe the product off and not put too much on.
25:12This is going to kind of lift the under eye just a smidge to create that brightness and almost doll-like finish.
25:18Look up for me.
25:28This should just kind of lift your concealer just a bit.
25:41To kind of just make your eye pop just a smidge bit more.
25:56To reinforce the blush that we've already applied to her.
25:59I am now going to take this Laura Mercier blush.
26:05And I'm going to pop that right on the same area where we had the cream products.
26:26And to give the nose a little bit more of a snatched effect, I am then going to take a highlighter and place it right down the center of the nose.
26:38If I can locate it.
26:41This just adds a little bit more definition to the nose.
26:54I literally like to place this highlighter right in the center.
26:58Not all the way down, but just in the center here.
27:02I then like to take this same product with the beauty blender and smash it right into the cheek area just to kind of create a glow to the skin.
27:21This keeps the makeup looking fresh.
27:30This here is one of my favorite products.
27:31It's the Fenty Invisible Matte Powder.
27:33If you get shiny throughout the day, you have a long work day, this instantly takes away the shine.
27:39We're going to apply it right here at the center of her forehead just to kind of de-shine the face.
27:44What I like about this product is that it's transfer resistant, so it doesn't alter the color of the makeup already.
27:51And literally just takes the shine away wherever you want it.
28:00I'm also now going to apply a bronzer throughout her face.
28:03If you notice exactly where we place the contour, this is a powder product.
28:08It has a little bit of a shimmer to it, and literally right here at the angles, right on the forehead,
28:15just to kind of burn her forehead out a bit and create more definition.
28:20I'm now going to apply a bottom mascara right at the bottom of her lashes just to kind of pull them out to balance out her top lash.
28:44Look up for me.
28:57Bottom mascara is always important to me because it really just completes and finishes the eye.
29:01I know it's a step that a lot of people skip.
29:04No worries.
29:06But this really helps to really just shape and complete the eye shape.
29:14And depending on where you're going, you can also then take the black eyeliner that we used previously before
29:27and placing that right at the lash line.
29:30Where is the black eyeliner?
29:32Look up for me.
29:37Not quite inside, but literally right underneath the lash line.
29:42Just to kind of add a little bit of shape to the lid.
29:45While taking a pencil brush and just smudging that out.
29:49And for lips, I really like to keep it simple.
30:16I'm a huge advocate of a brown liner and gloss.
30:20Right now I'm loving Makeup Forever Limitless Brown, which is here.
30:26Literally taking this pencil, defining the lip here.
30:33Smile for me.
30:37And it's okay to kind of go within the lip too to redefine the shape.
30:47That way there's no lines of demarcation.
30:50I also love this lip oil from Neutrogena.
31:06I apply this.
31:07This is new.
31:08So I'm going to apply it directly to her lips.
31:10Smile for me.
31:12And this really has like a slight pink to it.
31:15So if you're a natural girly, this works really effortlessly
31:19in giving just that nice pink pout to the skin.
31:23I then like to go in with that same pencil and just create a little bit more shade.
31:33As a finishing powder, I didn't like to take this MAC Deep Dark Powder.
32:02And literally just kind of sculpt around the eye area.
32:05Look up for me.
32:09It just kind of blends everything in together.
32:24And essentially we all want our makeup to stay on.
32:29Two of my favorite setting sprays are the Charlotte Tilbury and the One Size.
32:34I like to use them together.
32:36Close for me.
32:37This one here just kind of refreshes the skin while also setting the makeup to last all day.
32:43While the One Size is a sweat and water resistant.
32:47So once that settles for a second, I then apply this one immediately afterwards.
32:54And I finish off the face again with that Fenty Powder to really take away any unwanted shine.
33:00And I like to do that with the Pouf here.
33:13This Pouf really allow you to kind of just shape and define the face.
33:18Also while pressing it into the skin.
33:21If you get sweaty in any area or oily, this is really great in kind of de-shining that area.
33:28There you guys have it.
33:53An effortless, everyday glam look.
33:57You guys have any questions?
34:02Yes.
34:05Which two powders did I use where?
34:08Under her eye, I used a Ben Nye banana powder.
34:14As well as a One Size powder.
34:16A little bit darker to really customize that shape.
34:18Sometimes when we go in with just the banana powder, it's a little too bright.
34:22And it's not as neutral.
34:24And so you'll see in a lot of pictures it's flashback where you see just the under eye sitting there.
34:29This really helps to kind of neutralize and balance that undertone.
34:33And again you can take this Fenty powder and touch up throughout the day.
34:41Your makeup won't transfer, stays on, and you'll be mad.
34:45Yes.
34:46Yes.
34:47I use the Charlotte Tilbury first.
34:52This just kind of refreshes the makeup.
34:54So if you put too much powder, it makes it kind of skin-like.
34:58After that I didn't go in with the One Size would make shit a little bit more bulletproof throughout the day.
35:03One size, yeah.
35:05I use them in conjunction in your makeup all night.
35:08Going back.
35:09You can block your lips for me.
35:10Perfect.
35:11You can block your lips for me.
35:15Perfect.
35:16Can you smile?
35:17Smile.
35:18Smile.
35:19Perfect.
35:20Thank you guys so much.
35:21Thank you to me.
35:31Thank you so much.
35:36Thank you, it's yours.
