00:00Fox News alert, the final deadline for the Nancy Guthrie ransom just passed.
00:13The alleged kidnappers demanding $6 million by 7 Eastern.
00:17Just moments ago, Savannah Guthrie released this.
00:21We believe our mom is still out there.
00:26We need your help.
00:30Law enforcement is working tirelessly around the clock trying to bring her home, trying to find her.
00:37She was taken and we don't know where.
00:41And we need your help.
00:45So I'm coming on just to ask you, not just for your prayers, but no matter where you are, even if you're far from Tucson,
00:53if you see anything, you hear anything, if there's anything at all that seems strange to you, that you report to law enforcement.
01:03We are at an hour of desperation and we need your help.
01:12This is the first time Savannah has spoken directly to the public.
01:16Previous videos were mainly aimed at the kidnappers.
01:19Many feared Nancy was no longer alive and that negotiations had taken a dark turn after Savannah put this video out on Saturday.
01:27We received your message and we understand.
01:30We beg you now to return our mother to us so that we can celebrate with her.
01:38This is the only way we will have peace.
01:42This is very valuable to us and we will pay.
01:46This suggested to some that the Guthrie's were willing to pay for the return of their mother's body.
01:52But then late Saturday night, unmarked police vehicles returned once again to Annie Guthrie's house.
01:59That's the sister and her husband, Tommaso.
02:02Law enforcement stayed for more than two hours.
02:05Cameras flashed inside the house and reporters heard loud clanking noises as several items were carried out and loaded into police vehicles.
02:14At one point, an agent was seen carrying a silver briefcase, possibly a Celebrite device, typically used to analyze iPhones and computers.
02:24This would be the second time investigators brought the device to Annie Guthrie's house.
02:30Later, a deputy was seen loading a white case along with a brown bag into a police vehicle.
02:36Does this suggest authorities are scrutinizing the family?
02:39Does this mean they don't believe their side of the story?
02:42We have no idea.
02:45It could very well be routine.
02:47But with no suspects and the sheriff not ruling anybody out, it does raise a lot of questions.
02:531030 at night seems very late to be conducting sudden searches of the sister's house.
02:59They must have gotten new information or perhaps there was something so urgent they couldn't wait for the morning.
03:04We assume the Guthrie family is cooperating with authorities.
03:08We have no reason to believe they aren't.
03:09The next day, Sunday, investigators searched a septic tank behind Nancy's home, looking for possible evidence that may have been flushed.
03:20Fox News examined the area surrounding the property.
03:23Watch.
03:23Wanted to give you a different point of view.
03:26So you've got Nancy's house.
03:29It's in the middle and the lots are large enough for privacy.
03:32We walk to the front of the properties and on one side, mailbox to mailbox, it's about 300 feet.
03:38On the other side, it's a little closer.
03:41But with both the homes that flank her house, there are lines of vegetation.
03:45There's space and cactus.
03:46And from what we could gather, it appears the neighbors to the back may have the best vantage point to her home.
03:54Authorities haven't even determined whether the ransom notes are legitimate.
03:58As far as we know, they could be real or they could be hoaxes.
04:02And so far, whoever's sending these messages hasn't provided proof of life.
04:08Authorities have said there's been no video or no pictures proving Nancy's still alive and in anyone's captivity.
04:15Although these messages could contain written details that only Nancy and the family would know that prove someone has her.
04:23Also new tonight, the FBI is saying it's not aware of any continued communication between the Guthrie family and suspected kidnappers.
04:32Nor have we identified a suspect or person of interest in this case at this time.
04:38There's also a new question about the note itself,
04:41which specified that the payment be made in U.S. dollars,
04:46suggesting the senders could be outside the country or foreign actors,
04:50or the messages could just be written by AI.
04:54The sheriff's department, after doing a ton of media, suddenly doesn't have anything to say.
05:01The Nancy Guthrie investigation is ongoing.
05:04Follow-up continues at multiple locations.
05:06No suspects, persons of interest, or vehicles have been identified.
05:10No scheduled press briefings.
05:13If any significant developments occur in this case, a press conference will be called.
05:18So no time for a briefing, but the sheriff did have time for a basketball game.
05:24Here he is at the University of Arizona Wildcats game on Saturday,
05:28just minutes before Savannah released the video saying she'd pay.
05:32So Savannah paid the ransom?
05:36We don't know.
05:37The deadline just passed.
05:40And authorities are expected to continue activity at the Guthrie homes tonight and into tomorrow.
05:47Earlier, TMZ reported that the Bitcoin account that the alleged kidnappers were using still appeared empty.
05:54Do you pay ransom without proof of life?
05:57Or do you just roll the dice?
05:59These are the heart-wrenching decisions that have to be made.
06:03Jonathan Hunts, our chief correspondent.
06:05Jonathan.
06:08Well, Jesse, a couple of points on the Savannah Guthrie video.
06:13First, the new one that she just released.
06:16First of all, she talks about her mother in a different way than we've heard in previous video.
06:24She said, for instance, she is hearing the prayers.
06:29And she said, we do believe that she is out there somewhere.
06:33That was an interesting contrast, I think, to the message Savannah and her siblings released on Saturday directly to the kidnappers.
06:43A lot of people interpreted the language in Saturday's video as perhaps recognizing a worst-case scenario.
06:51But Savannah very much in this video tonight saying, we believe, we have faith, we hope that our mother is still alive.
06:59Now, secondly, you go back again to the Saturday video.
07:04The final words in Saturday's video, the message directly to the kidnappers, was, we will pay.
07:12Now, you would imagine if they have made the decision, we will pay, they do that very quickly in the interest of moving things along and getting their mother back as quickly as possible.
07:23And we also know from the first ransom note that whomever claimed to have Nancy Guthrie had said, once payment is received, we will return Nancy Guthrie to Tucson within a certain time frame.
07:37So has that time frame passed?
07:39Did Savannah Guthrie and her family pay for Nancy Guthrie and then heard absolutely nothing from the kidnappers?
07:49That could point to one of two things.
07:50It could be that the kidnappers got that money paid and just decided, well, we're not going to have any further communication with you and disappeared, left Nancy Guthrie wherever she is.
08:01Or it could mean that it was all a hoax in the first place.
08:04These are huge open questions, obviously, Jesse, and we're getting no answers from the sheriff's department or anyone else at this point.
08:12And just a quick point on the TMZ reporting about that one Bitcoin wallet that has zero in it.
08:18It's the Bitcoin wallet. We believe the address was given in the first ransom note.
08:22I can tell you this, Jesse, that it takes anywhere, depending on the complexity with which you're setting it up, from two to 15, one five minutes to set up a Bitcoin wallet.
08:34So whatever was in that first address, they could have set up a dozen, 20, 30, 40, 100 new Bitcoin addresses and communicated those in the second ransom note.
08:45And remember, we have not seen any details from that one.
08:47That was only sent to one local TV station here.
08:51So a huge number of open questions tonight, Jesse, and we're just not getting any answers from the sheriff's department.
08:58And as we've been saying throughout this, Jesse, it is absolutely within the right of all of these law enforcement officials to tell us as little as they want to not to compromise the nature of the investigation.
09:08But you have to say tonight, when you listen to that new video from Savannah Guthrie, she seems desperate.
09:15She seems to, while paying tribute to the work of law enforcement officials, have little faith that the investigation is actually making any progress, Jesse.
09:25All right, Jonathan, thank you.
09:27Chris Swecker is a former assistant FBI director.
09:31Chris, so the deadline's done now.
09:34What's next?
09:35Well, I mean, I go to the most recent Instagram post by Savannah, and I'm reading quite a bit into that.
09:45She is talking to the public now.
09:47She's no longer talking to the potential kidnappers.
09:51And those two are inconsistent with each other.
09:53If she paid a ransom or if they paid a ransom, they would be, that would imply they're trying to work with the kidnappers and they're trying to, trying to get Nancy returned.
10:03That didn't happen.
10:04I don't think the payment was made.
10:06I don't think there was ever really a kidnapping here at Ransom to begin with because, as you pointed out, there weren't any credible authenticators that were provided.
10:14So now, you know, there are other tracks ongoing.
10:16I mean, we've seen a lot of a flurry of investigative activity around both houses.
10:21We've seen some focus on the sister and that house.
10:26So, and there, you know, there are other tracks going as well.
10:30A lot of digital forensics going on, cell phone analysis, video analysis in the commercial areas where there finally are some video that might be usable.
10:38So there is still a lot going on.
10:41But that, you know, that ransom demand and that particular avenue, I think, was a long shot to begin with.
10:47So you're saying there was no proof of life provided.
10:50There was no ransom paid.
10:52And now the investigation is starting to direct itself towards the sister's house.
10:58Well, I think that has been ongoing.
11:04I think they've had, they completely have to run that out to its logical conclusion and rule them out or rule them in.
11:11I mean, they're really one of three different scenarios here.
11:14One is there is a kidnapping and a ransom.
11:16And the other is there was a home invasion that went bad.
11:20She left the house bleeding in the middle of the night.
11:23And then the third is that someone that was stood to gain financially from from her demise from the inside perpetrated this.
11:33So I don't see a lot of other viable scenarios here.
11:36And I think that I think all three of those is it's the investigative team are playing out to the to the very logical end to it.
11:44You might be right about that.
11:45How long would it take to rule out the family?
11:48Shouldn't that have been done pretty quickly?
11:50You scrub the devices, you run those down, and that's got to be it, right?
11:56Or is there more?
11:58Right.
11:58Yeah, we've seen in the past where when you got into their devices, you saw Internet searches that were very revealing.
12:05There were communications that were revealing.
12:09There were, you know, there were there was planning, purchases, financial transactions, what have you.
12:15And we've heard nothing.
12:16And I think I think the sheriff is in sort of a media time out right now, you know, last Saturday and today.
12:22And I think rightfully so.
12:24Unless they have something to tell us that has a law enforcement purpose to it, then there's no point coming back to the public and to the media to talk about details.
12:33So I think there you know, I think they finally gotten through to him that, hey, this is not a talk show circuit opportunity here.
12:40This is it's all business.
12:42This is all about trying to advance a law enforcement purpose here.
12:46I don't want to speculate on the involvement of the family.
12:49But, I mean, if you're a family member and you're somehow involved in this, I mean, how can you sit there with your other family members while they're going through something like this and produce videos and eat dinner?
12:59And I just it doesn't seem possible to me.
13:01Yeah, I mean, I see the family seems to have come together and they I don't I don't think there's any, you know, any split there that that we know about.
13:12We're on the outside looking in, obviously.
13:15And, you know, there was a there was talk earlier on another show of a polygraph.
13:18Well, that's not a terrible idea.
13:20And that may have already been done.
13:22So, you know, we're not hearing anything from that investigative team, which is kind of unusual in a case where we have so many investigative agencies, so many different people involved.
13:32But really and truly the leaks have absolutely stopped here.
13:35And that may be the discipline that the FBI brings to this because they know that you don't you really don't put out details unless you have a good purpose to do it.
13:43And you're under the understanding that the family's cooperating fully with law enforcement, right?
13:51Right.
13:52We've we've not heard otherwise.
13:53I mean, they they they're allowed into the house.
13:56I hear talk of consent searches, not they haven't had to go get search warrants from a magistrate.
14:01You don't see them or hear about them lawyering up like like people have done.
14:05And we've seen in the past in high profile cases.
14:08So I don't see any indication that there's there's no cooperation here.
14:12And if you'd have nothing to hide, why wouldn't you cooperate?
14:15I think we would have heard it heard about it by now if there was, you know, if a stone wall was going up here.
14:21Right. So you rule out the family and then you move to your other option, a home invasion gone wrong.
14:27And that's probably where you think this is headed.
14:32Well, I mean, I don't know for sure, but my investigative instincts tell me there are a lot of people that have that have gone to that house.
14:41Over the years that know that there's an 84 year old woman there of means who lives in a very dark house in a very dark area and in a neighborhood where the houses are offset about 300 feet from the front of the road and the cameras are obstructed, etc.
14:57So, you know, that over the years, I mean, she's 84.
15:00So she has to have had delivery people, handyman, pool person, yard person, somebody, you know, come around.
15:07I'm not saying they would have done it, but they would have provided information to others or induced or enabled others to do it.
15:15Yeah. And again, she left that house bleeding out the front door.
15:18So that's not a good sign.
15:21No. Terrible sign.
15:21That means that she, you know, she was roughed up on the way out.
15:24Yep. She was roughed up when they first entered the house or resisted or and not a great sign.
15:29That's absolutely sure.
15:31Excellent analysis.
15:32Thank you so much for always joining Jesse Waters primetime.
15:37Scott Sweetow is a retired ATF executive and retired deputy director of intelligence.
15:43Is there anything you want to react to from the conversation we just said?
15:48I think Chris had some great points and something that I don't think has been covered enough, actually, is this issue of a polygraph.
15:56It is entirely likely that polygraphs have been offered.
16:00And a lot of people might be horrified at that.
16:03Say, how could you possibly ask to do polys on family members?
16:07But sometimes the point of it is just to see what the reaction is.
16:12And as Chris said, there's no indication so far that the family is refusing to cooperate.
16:18But that doesn't mean that they can be eliminated.
16:23And while I think a lot of people would think, well, you could certainly eliminate the family right off the bat.
16:29The fact that they keep going back and doing things like taking photographs on the inside of the house, coming back and perhaps trying to image their electronics again could be just being extra, extra thorough.
16:44Or it could be because there are statements that have been made by some of these family members that don't quite track.
16:50It could be completely innocent.
16:52But obviously, the investigators still have a hunch that something is wrong.
16:57And another thing that Chris pointed out, which I think is particularly interesting, is I am sure that there was some sort of a spotter or a bird dog involved in this.
17:09And by that, I mean, tradespeople that were in that house for any number of reasons would not have necessarily done the crime.
17:18But they might have been just running their mouth to people who were serious criminals that were capable of doing kidnappings or home invasions.
17:27And it could be that they were just hoping to get a quick hit and something went terribly wrong and they decide to take her.
17:36And now they're they're kind of stuck trying to figure out what to do.
17:40Yeah, you get pool guys maintenancing the pool probably once or twice a month.
17:45You have people obviously landscaping.
17:48God knows what kind of work she's had done to the house.
17:51You know, Amazon deliveries.
17:52I mean, you could just it could be anybody that ever had access to the house.
17:55Going back to what you were saying about ruling people out, it's it's been about a week since she went missing.
18:03Would polygraphs have been done already of the family just to rule them out?
18:08And is that something that defense attorneys would allow a client to just do at this point in the investigation,
18:15even if they believe their client had nothing to do with the appearance?
18:19I mean, you know, polygraphs are not foolproof.
18:23Yeah, absolutely not.
18:25They're a tool like a lot of things that law enforcement does.
18:28I've used them more times than I can count.
18:31And sometimes it was just to get a reaction and see what people would say.
18:36It's certainly not your your first arrow in the quiver.
18:39It's not what you're going to go to right away.
18:41But it's definitely something that I feel would have likely been brought up, especially with the Bureau being involved in this.
18:49They're exceptionally thorough.
18:51And I would be surprised if they weren't offered.
18:54If it was a case that I was involved in, I absolutely would have been discussing how to kind of front this to the family to say,
19:03hey, we might want to do polygraphs and the families caught between this terrible anguish and wanting to cooperate and concerns maybe about their their own privacy and what is going on right now.
19:18And certainly, literally the entire world is looking at them.
19:22So I think even if a lawyer, a family lawyer said, hey, look, I don't necessarily think that's a great idea.
19:29But I think based on what I've seen from the videotapes, there's so much anguish going on.
19:36I I see no reason to think they're not cooperating.
19:39Yeah. And we don't know the inner family dynamic at all.
19:43We could only guess what that's like.
19:45And under these circumstances, it's probably just an absolute mess.
19:50Scott, thank you. Great points.
19:52We really appreciate it, Jesse.
19:55The Bad Bunny Halftime Show.
19:58Right back.
19:59No hablo espanol.
20:06That means I don't speak Spanish.
20:08Same goes for America.
20:09Not that it matters anymore.
20:14You know, the game was bad when you're only talking about halftime.
20:23I watched it.
20:23Some of the beats are good.
20:25Made me move a little bit.
20:26Good energy.
20:27But there's a couple of problemos.
20:30Nobody understood a thing.
20:32We needed subtitles for our own Super Bowl.
20:35And we didn't even get any.
20:36All we got was sign language.
20:39Was the sign language in English or Spanish?
20:41I have no idea.
20:42And I get it if you want to fly a Puerto Rican flag.
20:46I love Puerto Rico.
20:47But they were marching with flags from every country in South America, speaking a foreign language, coming right at the screen like a caravan.
20:56You want to do this for the World Cup, have fun.
20:59Even for the Olympics.
21:01I get it.
21:01But not for the Super Bowl.
21:03No bueno.
21:04The NFL did it for moolah.
21:08Latin America is the fastest growing market.
21:10And thanks to Biden, we have a lot more Spanish eyeballs on the game.
21:14It was a financial calculation.
21:16But Americans don't want an international halftime show.
21:20We want them to pander to us.
21:23We're the ones who've watched every Sunday since we were little.
21:26What about us?
21:28A Latin American halftime show.
21:30Right after a Latin American invasion.
21:33Little two on the nose.
21:35And this guy is saying F-ice.
21:38Lady Gaga does a cameo.
21:40She's saying F-ice.
21:41Green Day opens the game with American Idiot.
21:44You get it?
21:46And they're saying Latin America is America too.
21:48And if you disagree, you're a hater.
21:51I'm not a hater.
21:53I had Emma make me nachos and soft-shell tacos when I watched the game.
21:56There's no hate.
21:58But don't alienate the audience and then call them racist for not liking an artist who speaks a different language.
22:05This was an open borders halftime show.
22:07I know what you're going to say.
22:09Jesse, Jesse, Jesse.
22:10What's the big deal?
22:11It's just a halftime show.
22:12Who cares?
22:13And I hear that.
22:14But it wasn't just a halftime show for Hispanics.
22:17It was so significant they were crying.
22:21Oh, man.
22:22Are you as emotional as I am to see your people out there celebrated?
22:28It's getting to me, boss.
22:31Some are saying bad bunnies.
22:33The Spanish Ronald Reagan.
22:35Here's Jose Scarborough.
22:37This is about as American of a halftime show as you could have.
22:41Go look at Ronald Reagan's farewell speech to America.
22:46And he says it is immigrants.
22:48It is new arrivals to this country every day.
22:52It's an America that throws open their arms to America.
22:55Kamala and Dougie basked in Bad Bunny, too.
23:00Newsom and his wife, they couldn't get enough.
23:02The governor hosted the game in the sanctuary city of San Francisco.
23:05And halftime sounded like Telemundo.
23:09I saw the halftime show with Shakira and J-Lo.
23:11I was there at the game.
23:12They sang some Spanish lyrics.
23:14The difference?
23:15We know their songs.
23:17It was mostly English.
23:19I didn't feel alienated watching them dance.
23:22Not at all.
23:23Kendrick Lamar could barely understand him, too.
23:27But at least it was English.
23:29But the media is now saying this was the best halftime show in history.
23:33To see the Pava hat.
23:35And, you know, people kept on asking me, like, what is this?
23:37What were you wearing?
23:38At some point, it was sort of, it meant poverty.
23:43But Puerto Ricans reclaimed it.
23:45And instead of it meaning, like, el jibarito, like the farmer,
23:49it means your connection to the land, to the island.
23:53And that's why we wear it with such pride.
23:55The reporters didn't even know who Bad Bunny was until he said F ice.
24:00And now they're saying the crowd was electric.
24:04Does this look electric?
24:06That's what you call confusion.
24:08They looked as lost as Joe Biden, who said Bad Bunny should learn English.
24:12The Democratic position also recognized you got 11 million illegal aliens here.
24:18They pay a fine.
24:19They got to learn to speak English.
24:20They got to pass testers.
24:22I like the English part.
24:23Yeah.
24:23I like the English part.
24:24By the way.
24:24If we want the problems of Canada right now,
24:26let's keep encouraging people to keep their foreign language.
24:29English is going to unite this country, potentially.
24:31It always has in the past.
24:32You can't think of a country that has two languages as their accepted languages that is doing all that well.
24:40The Washington Post said the show had wholesome, traditional values.
24:45And that's when you know the media's in on it.
24:48That's when you know there's an agenda.
24:50When they lie straight to your face.
24:52Like, oh, yeah, Joe Biden's healthy.
24:53Well, you watch them fall down the stairs.
24:57They did a black national anthem, a Spanish halftime act.
25:00What's next?
25:01Flipping a euro at the coin toss.
25:04Now the halftime show says press one for Kid Rock, press two for Bad Bunny.
25:09Yeah, Kid Rock.
25:10He was the Turning Point USA headliner.
25:12No subtitles needed.
25:14Six million tuned in.
25:16Who thought you could counter program the Super Bowl with English?
25:20America's turning 250 this year.
25:24We should be celebrating ourselves, not other countries.
25:29Peter Schweitzer is the author of The Invisible Coup.
25:32I mean, I don't want to make a huge deal out of this, but I mean, people could feel it in their bones when they watch the halftime show, Peter.
25:40Is this a significant cultural moment?
25:45Yeah, I think it is.
25:47And that's what people in the Latin American left are telling us.
25:50Let's remember Bad Bunny made a guest appearance at the 2020 Super Bowl halftime show.
25:57And there he stirred controversy when he said, Viva La Raza, long live the race.
26:03And this was a reference to a common idea on the Latin American left called the cosmic race, a book that was written in Mexico almost 100 years ago.
26:12And the book basically talks about how Anglos are selfish, blacks and Asians have their flaws, but Latinos are kind of the superior race.
26:23That was the reference that he was making.
26:25If you look at the halftime show this Sunday, you see that one of the songs he sang was It Happened in Hawaii.
26:33And Jesse, this is a song about fighting colonialism, but the colonialism are Anglo-tourists.
26:41And it's a reference to how the Anglos basically destroyed Hawaii and they're destroying Puerto Rico as well.
26:47So a lot of his lyrics have a deep, bedded, civilizational approach that is antithetical to what the United States is and what it stands for.
27:00And I think we have to understand it as more than just a musician.
27:03This is a clash of civilizations that's occurring.
27:06And, you know, Claudia Scheinbaum, the president of Mexico, praised his performance and said the call was not for unity in the United States.
27:14The call was for unity of all the Americas, that the United States and all of Latin America should unite as one.
27:21That was the message the president of Mexico got from that performance.
27:25Unite as one how?
27:26I mean, we've already had, what, tens of millions pour in unchecked illegally and they're not leaving.
27:32How is that unifying, unifying to Hispanics?
27:39Yeah, well, I mean, it's the call for a borderless hemisphere, right, that you can have the free movement of people.
27:46I will point out, Jesse, it's ironic that in that song, It Happened to Hawaii, he's criticizing Anglos that buy property in Puerto Rico and are taking houses from locals.
27:58So he has a problem with Anglos legally moving to Puerto Rico, but he has no problems with tens of millions of people illegally coming into the United States.
28:07So, you know, it's not about consistency.
28:09It's about a borderless world and allowing for the superiority of La Raza to demonstrate itself.
28:18That's really, I think, what it's about.
28:20And I don't think that's an exaggeration at all.
28:22Yeah, I mean, I think the flags got to a lot of people, especially the country's feeling a little raw after the four years of Biden, when we saw all these people with flags pour in and take jobs and take apartments and take welfare.
28:37And it's like, now they're at the Super Bowl and they're coming in with the flags and you can't understand a word they're saying.
28:43You know, we're a very inviting people.
28:45We know we're very open for immigrants.
28:48This is a country of immigrants.
28:50But it becomes where it's like, OK, this looks like something's going on here and everybody can feel it.
28:58But if you say something, Peter, if you say anything, you're a bigot.
29:03And that's kind of how they set it up, right?
29:07Yeah, that's how they frame it.
29:09Look, here's the thing.
29:10I mean, what's significant about the flags is not only this notion of unity, but it goes to the heart of the question of assimilation.
29:17And the fact that he's performing in Spanish, he's not performing in English.
29:21The Latin American left does not want migrants that come to the United States to assimilate.
29:26They don't want them to learn the language.
29:28They don't want them to adopt American values.
29:32They call them traitors.
29:33That's what Scheinbaum top aides call Mexicans that learn the language.
29:40So this is not about loving everybody.
29:43This is about a cultural clash that they hope to win.
29:47All right.
29:47We'll see how it shakes out.
29:48I wonder who they're going to book next halftime.
29:51We'll find out soon.
29:53Peter, good to see you.
29:54Everybody go check out his book.
29:56Breaking news on Nancy Guthrie.
29:59That's next.
29:59You've tried.
30:07Fox News alert.
30:08The second ransom deadline in the Nancy Guthrie kidnapping case has officially expired.
30:13Hours after Savannah Guthrie posted a video begging the public for information.
30:17Over the weekend, the family recorded a different video directed at Nancy's alleged kidnapper, agreeing to pay the $6 million ransom.
30:26Authorities have been working around the clock to find Nancy.
30:30Drones, dogs, helicopters swarming the property.
30:34Investigators were poking around the drain pipes behind her house.
30:37And police were seen leaving her daughter Annie's house wearing gloves, carrying brown bags after a very late night search.
30:45Randy Suttons, a retired lieutenant and detective and the founder of the Wounded Blue.
30:50Randy, so they're back, I guess, for the second time at the sister's house.
30:55She's married to Tommaso.
30:57What does that indicate to you?
30:59Well, what it tells me is that they are clearly looking for some type of connection.
31:07Now, it's also my understanding that they utilize the consent search in order to go back into that property.
31:13And I find that rather unusual, too.
31:15Because if they did, in fact, locate anything that might be incriminating, it causes legal issues down the road.
31:25That's why search warrants are the way to go when you're talking about especially an investigation of this magnitude.
31:32So the consent search, should they have found anything incriminating, it could be thrown out in court later on.
31:39So I found that a little bit concerning.
31:42Also, when you look at the timeline here, as the individuals were in the residence, it does not really play well with the ransom idea.
31:55And so I'm thinking that the entire ransom issues here may very well just be a red herring trying to throw off the investigators and have them look elsewhere as opposed to the normal places where people look.
32:11And that is relationships.
32:13Why would you say the timeline leads you to question the whole ransom thing?
32:21Think about it, Jesse.
32:22If you're going to kidnap someone, especially for ransom, you're going to get in and you're going to get out.
32:27And that is not apparently what happened here.
32:31There was time spent in that residence.
32:33And that, to me, spells out that there was something else going on in that residence.
32:40Perhaps they hurt her in some way where they didn't intend to and then tried to deal with it and eventually made the decision to take her out of the house.
32:53So go back to this search warrant.
32:56So you're saying they didn't go to a judge and get a search warrant.
33:00They got a consent order, which is basically, you know, the daughter and the husband say, yeah, you can come on in.
33:06But you're saying that wouldn't be whatever they found incriminating wouldn't be admissible.
33:10No, it could be admissible.
33:13But when you're when you're searching a house, that is the domicile.
33:19That is the the highest level of of privacy.
33:23And the courts are very, very concerned about the misuse of consent searches.
33:28They very often they they the courts make a decision about consent searches that say, well, they really weren't consensual.
33:37You know, there's a lot of legal issues involved there.
33:40And that's why law enforcement really stays away from consent, especially in a major crime like this.
33:47Hmm.
33:48That is interesting.
33:50All right.
33:51Well, I think we're going to find out a lot more about these searches in the next 24 to 48 hours.
33:56Randy, thank you so much.
33:58Johnny is on stolen land.
34:02If we give back the land, where are you going to live?
34:06Just go back home to North Carolina, which is like, I don't want to do that.
34:10That's stolen land, too.
34:11Oh, geez.
34:17Billie Eilish said we're all living on stolen land.
34:21Turns out she is, too.
34:22But what about you?
34:24We sent Johnny to find out.
34:28Before we start, let's acknowledge we are on stolen land right now.
34:32We are very sorry to the Lenape people.
34:35Are we?
34:35I'm sorry.
34:36I'm sorry to the Lenape tribe.
34:39Bless our ancestors.
34:40The what?
34:41The Lenape tribe.
34:43But it's buffoonery.
34:44We're on conquering land.
34:45I'm so sorry that my colonizer ancestors stole your land.
34:48This will never be my colonizer's ancestors' land, ever.
34:52Is it your land?
34:53I mean, I live here.
34:55Nobody can take it away from you.
34:57Do you feel guilty?
34:59A little bit right now, yeah.
35:00Reparations are required.
35:02We shouldn't be on stolen lands.
35:04Right?
35:05I'm okay with it.
35:07Okay.
35:08Well, that makes me feel a little bit better.
35:10Should we give the land back?
35:12I mean, yeah.
35:16Your apartment?
35:17Let's give it back.
35:18I don't want to be homeless.
35:19We should give everything back.
35:21If we give all this land back, where is everybody going to go?
35:24Um, honestly, I can figure it out.
35:27I don't think we can give it back.
35:28I feel like we can all share it.
35:30Give it back.
35:31If we give back the land, where are you going to live?
35:34Just go back home to North Carolina, which is like, I don't want to do that.
35:38That's stolen land, too.
35:40Oh, jeez.
35:41Ladies from North Carolina, we're not happy with that.
35:43Billie Eilish says no one is illegal on stolen land.
35:46Okay.
35:47You know, but she lives in a mansion on stolen land.
35:49Right.
35:49And the people want their land back.
35:51She shouldn't be throwing rocks while living in a glass house.
35:54Billie Eilish is an idiot.
35:55She mumbles into a microphone.
35:57Didn't she steal that girl's boyfriend?
35:59Yeah, it's just really hard to know what to say and what to do right now.
36:04Is stealing ever okay?
36:07You shouldn't take something that's not yours.
36:09If somebody's starving and they need, like, bread.
36:11So if you're poor, you could steal.
36:13Like, like bread.
36:16If it's from a large corporation, yes.
36:19All right.
36:20Have you ever been robbed?
36:21I once got chased by a vagrant in Soho trying to take my jacket.
36:25I've actually been robbed from someone who gave me a Bible.
36:27All Americans need a Bible in their home, and I have many.
36:31Homeless all our cars.
36:33That sucks.
36:34Yeah.
36:34How did you get around?
36:35We bought motorcycles.
36:36Oh, my God.
36:37I went out in Spain.
36:38I got my phone stolen twice and my camera.
36:40What did you do?
36:40Cried outside of the club.
36:42My labubu was stolen.
36:43Who stole a labubu from you?
36:44I don't know.
36:46I'm still, to this day, I'm really sad about that.
36:47That's a tragedy.
36:48It really is.
36:49All we have to do is stop the steal, and we have it made.
36:52Have you ever stolen anything?
36:54I used to steal makeup from Sephora.
36:57Well, I get in trouble.
37:01Have you ever stolen anyone's girlfriend?
37:04Boyfriend, maybe.
37:05Someone's wife.
37:07I'll never do it again, though.
37:09Why?
37:10She was asking for some free money.
37:11That's where you go to the line.
37:12What should the punishment be for people who steal?
37:19They should have to give it back to you.
37:21Take it and let go.
37:23How should we punish the person who stole your labubu?
37:26They need a rotten hell.
37:27A night for a night.
37:28You know what they do in other countries?
37:29They chop off your hand.
37:30Don't touch me like that ever again.
37:31Is that a threat?
37:33No.
37:34It's a promise.
37:35Oh.
37:35Go ahead.
37:38How would you feel if I told you the president gave millions of dollars of your tax dollars
37:44to Somalis running daycares that had no children in it?
37:49I'm not a big fan of Donald Trump at all.
37:52Oh, this was Joe Biden who did this.
37:53Joe Biden.
37:55Hmm.
37:55Oh, I.
37:57Well.
37:57Oh, son of a bitch.
38:02What do you want to tell Jesse Waters on Fox News?
38:04I don't want to tell him s***.
38:06Jesse, baby.
38:07Let me steal your heart.
38:08Do you know who I am?
38:09You're Jesse?
38:11Here's Johnny.
38:12Oh.
38:12Hey, Johnny.
