00:00Keep in mind that every room isn't going to look like that HBCU campus.
00:04Every room isn't going to look like this, right?
00:07You're going to step into rooms to where you're going to be challenged to make sure you remember who you are
00:11because people don't know who you are and they won't even acknowledge that.
00:16And it's people who will make you feel like you're not supposed to be there because of the color of your skin.
00:22You're not worthy. You haven't earned the same credits or that you're not able to obtain the same things that they have.
00:28So I think remember this room. Remember this energy today.
00:31Remember this power today when you go back out into a world where it don't always look like this.
00:35It don't always support you like that. But remember that HBCU.
00:39Really remember this because it's real. You feel it and you take this same mentality and you go out into the world
00:45and you make sure you apply it. And then next thing you know, it really turns into something for you
00:49and you start cultivating this environment no matter what you're doing.
00:52And it happens in your living room. It happens at your church. It happens in wherever you're at.
00:57But make sure you remember this energy because it will change and shift as you continue to go throughout your career.
