00:00I feel like in the last 10 years, I've seen a lot of progress in the beauty industry,
00:05but then it's also very performative because it always kind of goes back to, you know,
00:11the beauty standard, which is like blonde, thin, white women, right?
00:16So I would love for the baseline of beauty to be diverse and inclusive instead of that being an
00:24initiative. I think that that's something that with time and, and with the consumer and the
00:34supporters voices being heard and recognized that it will hopefully change like that permanently.
00:40And then it's also getting, getting more people like us in these boardrooms and running these
00:47companies so that, so that they can do what they're supposed to do. And that is represent for all of
00:52us. The problem is it's, you know, even, even companies that are, are catered towards our
00:58community are sometimes ran by white men, right? Or most of them. So it's, it's, it's all like,
01:05it's not real, you know, and they're, and they're, they're putting out all of these initiatives,
01:09but then, then they're rolling them back. And then it's like, you know, it's just, I just want
01:15transparency and I want realness. And so hopefully the beauty industry will catch up to
01:22that.
