02:10Okay.
02:10So I think we've got two minutes.
02:12I'm still a fan even though I'm salty.
02:15Hate to see you with some other, but I know you're happy.
02:18Hate to see you happy if I'm not the one driving.
02:20I'm so mature.
02:22I'm so mature.
02:23I'm so mature.
02:24You got me a therapist.
02:25You tell me there's other man.
02:26I ain't no one.
02:27I just want you.
02:29If I can't have you, no one should.
02:31I might kill my face.
02:35Not the best idea.
02:39His new girlfriend's legs.
02:41How I can hear.
02:44I might kill my face.
02:47I still let them go.
02:49Rather be in jail than alone.
02:54I get the sense that it's a loss cause.
02:57I get the sense that you might really love her.
02:59The sex can be evidence.
03:00The sex is evidence.
03:01I try to ration with you.
03:03No words.
03:03I cry my passion, but damn.
03:05You was all the reach.
03:06You was at the farmer's market with your perfect peace.
03:09Now I'm in the basement.
03:10Now I'm on my face.
03:11And now you lay your face down.
03:13Got me saying, all right.
03:14I'm so mature.
03:15I'm so mature.
03:17I'm so mature.

03:19You tell me there's other man.
03:20I don't want that.
03:21I just want you.
03:22If I can't help you, no one will.
03:25I might kill my ass.
03:30Not the best idea.
03:32His new girlfriend's legs.
03:35How do I get here?
03:38I might kill my ass.
03:41I still love to go.
03:43Rather be in jail than alone.
03:47I did it all for love.
03:51I did it all on no drugs.
03:53I did it all of this sober.
03:56I did it all for us.
03:58Oh, I did it all for love.
04:01I did it all of this on no drugs.
04:04I did it all of this sober.
04:07Don't you know I did it all for us?
04:10I just killed my ass.
04:12All right, y'all.
04:13So now that we've unpacked the politics of beauty, we're going to get into something a little bit more fun, but just as fabulous.
04:20Because as we know, in this Essence Fest, we need to stay ready, okay?
04:25So let's stay ready for the parties, the concerts, even this Essence Heat.
04:30So this person we're bringing up next is no stranger to the Essence Fest stage.
04:34And she's going to give us all the tea on must-have products, glam-on-the-go tips, and even a special bag to keep you cool, cute, and camera ready.
04:43So y'all, please, please make some noise for our girl, Candy Burris.
04:54What's up, y'all?
04:55I said, what's up, y'all?
05:04How's everybody doing today?
05:06Hi, what's up?
05:07How are you?
05:09I love your son.
05:10Take a picture with your fan.
05:12What is your name?
05:13Frank?
05:14Okay, we're taking a picture today.
05:15We got two.
05:17All right.
05:17I just want to say I am so excited to be here.
05:22Hello, everyone.
05:23I am your girl, Candy, and welcome back to Amazon Live.
05:30Today, I am in New Orleans at Essence Fest.
05:35I'm about to show you everything you need to beat the heat and serve looks all weekend long.
05:42And if you see something that you like, please go ahead and add it to your cart and check out right now.
05:49Because sometimes they give sales that really don't last that long, okay?
05:52Before we get started, if this is your first time joining me for Amazon Live, let me hear you make some noise.
06:03Okay.
06:04Make sure you hit the follow button.
06:06So, I hope you had a chance to, I guess they put a QR code somewhere for you guys to be able to see the live and be able to shop from your phones.
06:17So, please go ahead and hit the follow button so you can get an alert every time I go live.
06:23If you ever joined me before, welcome back.
06:28And make sure to drop questions and comments in the chat.
06:33So, that's why I also encourage you to, hey, also encourage you to hit the QR code so that you can, if you have questions and different things you want to ask me today, you have to put them in the chat.
06:44And I will read them out loud and shout you out, out loud.
06:48Everything is shoppable in the carousel on my Amazon Livestream page.
06:55Okay.
06:58I also, before we even get started chit-chatting and talking about products, I want to give a shout out to Jane Kennedy.
07:08She just released a new book.
07:10It's her memoir, which I cannot wait to read.
07:16I mean, Jane Kennedy was an image of beauty ever since I was a little kid.
07:20I remember how she was just gorgeous, and now she's put out this book, and she was, like, Jane Kennedy is a pioneer.
07:30She's been an American actress, a model, and sportscaster, and she's best known for her trailblazing role on CBS's The NFL Today,
07:40being the first black Miss Ohio USA and breaking barriers in fitness and sports media.
07:48Her book is in the carousel, so I hope you guys have a chance to click it and drop it in your cart.
07:57She'll be doing a panel at the Essence Author Stage right after this at 1 p.m., so make sure you get a chance to go.
08:04Okay?
08:06So how y'all doing?
08:08Before I get started, let me find out.
08:12I want to ask you a question.
08:13Come on up.
08:14Come on up.
08:15Come on up.
08:15Yep, yep, yep.
08:16I want to know, have you been having a good time at Essence Fest?
08:20Yes.
08:21Okay, what are you looking forward to this weekend?
08:25Seeing you perform.
08:27Oh, thank you.
08:29Thank you, thank you.
08:30So if you guys did not know, I will be performing with my girls, Xscape.
08:36Jermaine Dupree, he is doing a tribute on Sunday, and we are a part of the tribute to Quincy Jones.
08:43So I hope you guys have a chance to check that out.
08:46And then another thing that also is happening tonight, my girl group, Siren, I am helping another girl group with dreams, helping them get their start, and they can sing their butts off.
08:58They will be performing tonight.
08:59So I hope you guys have a chance to come see the big stage this evening.
09:05So these are some of my favorite products that are on today's Amazon Live, and they will help you beat the heat.
09:15So let's get started with this little fan.
09:18How many of y'all brought y'all little fans out here for Amazon Live today?
09:22Who did it?
09:23I know you have – this is a must.
09:26This is a must for this heat that they got going on in New Orleans.
09:30Now, my daughter Riley, she put me on this same little fan a long time ago.
09:34She did not leave the house without this fan, okay?
09:37So I love this fan.
09:39It's a handheld fan, and she just told me I needed it, and ever since, I don't like to go anywhere without it.
09:47But here's another one, because I am – I'm going straight out of order, but since I'm on fans right now.
09:54Now, this one is good for the people like me who got braids, okay?
09:58This is one of those misting fans.
10:01Have you ever used one of those when you're out in the heat?
10:05And you – basically, the fan comes on.
10:08You can fan yourself, but if you need, like, a little – something to cool you down, you can hit yourself with a little water.
10:13Now, I know if we got a fresh press, we may not want to spray the water, okay?
10:21But we can keep cool with the fan, and then if you got braids like me, you can hit yourself with a little squirt of, you know, a little misting breeze.
10:31That's what we like.
10:33Okay, so I want to see some of your questions.
10:37So let me go ahead and look right now on this pad to see what the people are saying.
10:47They said we are live, y'all.
10:48We are live.
10:51Normally, I don't know if y'all have ever seen one of my lives on Amazon Live, but I do all kind of stuff on my live.
10:57I bring on guests.
11:00I also give – sometimes I give away things.
11:02I pick people to go with me to the Beyonce concert in Atlanta next week.
11:08So we have done all kind of fun stuff.
11:11But I love reading the comments.
11:14Oh, goodness.
11:15Why do they do me like this?
11:17It says I have to sign in to do this – to see the chat.
11:21My Amazon Live friends, I need you to sign this in so I can see the chat.
11:27They put it so that I could not see the chat right now.
11:30All right, it's okay.
11:32I'm going to bring one of y'all.
11:33We're going to live chat right now.
11:34Would you like to come on up?
11:36How are you?
11:40Okay, we're going to – okay, come on up.
11:43First of all, I want to say you look beautiful and your dress is fabulous.
11:49Fabulous.
11:50What is your name?
11:51My name is Amira.
11:52Hi, Amira.
11:54Do you have a question today?
11:55I do.
11:56You're so successful.
11:57Do you have any financial tips for someone who just got out of debt?
12:01Oh, that is a good one.
12:04Okay, so growing up, my mama always said good credit is better than money, right?
12:12So if you just got out of debt – and I know a lot of people are going through things right now.
12:16I always tell people to – you have to budget.
12:23There are a lot of budgeting apps out there, right?
12:26But the main thing for me is to separate ourselves so we don't get in the thing of, you know, shopping so much that we put our bills – we put our bills in trouble, right?
12:40So I just told my little cousin this the other day.
12:42This is something that I had to do when they – you know, I'm a little old, but I was around when they first started making the ATM card a debit card.
12:51And I realized that when you keep swiping, you can swipe yourself so much to where you swiped into your bill money.
12:58So what I did to prevent that going forward, I have a bank at two separate banks.
13:05One, I put my money in that I know covers all my bills.
13:11And I do not even carry an ATM card for that account, okay?
13:17So then there's no way that I can swipe into my bill money, right?
13:22And then the other bank, I put my, you know, little spending money, whatever you have budgeted for yourself to be able to spend.
13:32The reason why I put them in two separate banks is because sometimes when you over swipe, the bank will overdraft into your savings or your bill pay account.
13:42And you don't want that to happen.
13:43But if you have your money in two separate banks, they can't do that.
13:46They can't overdraft into what you have saved for your bills.
13:52So that is just a small tip that I give to people that makes it a little bit easier when you're trying to get back into budget yourself right, you know?
13:59And I know that this panel is not about that today because this is about shopping.
14:05But I just wanted to tell you that for a quick second.
14:07And also always, you know, put a little bit to the side so that you can use for saving and investing, you know?
14:13Okay.
14:17Yeah, I'm going to start off with this.
14:19Guys, I'm going to be, I'm going to think about candy coating here.
14:22I have my own makeup line, and I'm not sure if you guys knew that.
14:26But we have this beautiful lipstick.
14:28Oh, excuse me.
14:29This is the case.
14:30It's called Pretty Powerful.
14:32And this particular color is, uh, it's a strong red.
14:38I feel like everybody needs a power red.
14:41Everybody needs a power red.
14:43I should have put my power red on today.
14:45But if I have a red lip on, know that it's pretty powerful from Candy Coated Cosmetics.
14:50So I would love for you to put that in your cart today.
14:53Okay, let's move right along.
14:58Now, this right here, this is simple, but I think it's important for everybody who would like to go to concerts.
15:07Because, you know, they stop us from taking our purses in those arenas.
15:11So you have to have a small, clear bag.
15:14And so everybody needs to put this in their cart.
15:17If you just need a clear bag that you can carry stuff in when you go to a concert, you know we need our money, we need our light, we need our ID, our credit card.
15:26Or we definitely need our light for our, everybody want to do a little content, so bring your little light, your miniature light.
15:36All right.
15:37Ooh.
15:39I love these Pumas.
15:41Now, Essence Fest is not the place for high heels.
15:45Even though I got my heels on right now, I got some flip-flops in the bag.
15:50But Essence Fest is the place that you really need to have some good sneakers.
15:55A lot of people don't even know you can get Pumas right on Amazon.
15:59Okay?
16:00I don't know if y'all knew that, but these are the good ones.
16:03And then you can get them right on Amazon Live.
16:07Okay, I'm going to move on to, oh, did they open it up for me?
16:12No, they did not.
16:13Okay.
16:14Let's see.
16:18It says, Kevin James says, hey, Candy, and happy Juneteenth.
16:22It's still my birthday.
16:24Okay.
16:25Happy birthday to you.
16:26And Janice B. says, I love you, Candy.
16:28I'm on the second row in front of you.
16:31Janice.
16:32What's up, girl?
16:34Janice, please come over here right now.
16:37How are you?
16:38I feel like I'm at the Price is Right.
16:41Come on down.
16:44This is so funny to me.
16:46I've never been able to do Amazon Live with an audience before.
16:50Like, that was sitting in right in front of me, which is pretty cool.
16:53Because I do like to meet people.
16:56Hello, Janice.
16:59Wait, hold on.
17:01Tell the people your name and where you're from.
17:03Janice Edgar.
17:05Originally from Albany, Georgia, but I live in Jefferson now, north of Atlanta.
17:09Awesome.
17:12Oh, wow.
17:14It's okay.
17:14We can say that out loud.
17:15My friend is a dermatologist, and her name is Jinga Jinga, and she has a place called
17:19Pretty Faces Atlanta, and she says we both go there.
17:22All right.
17:24Now, oh, I didn't let you know.
17:26Did you have a question you would like to ask?
17:28No.
17:29Okay.
17:30Okay.
17:31That's cool, too.
17:32So nice to meet you.
17:34So nice to meet you.
17:36Okay.
17:37I want to know, who's first time at Essence?
17:43Oh, wow.
17:44Are you enjoying yourself?
17:47Yes, you are?
17:49Are you enjoying yourself?
17:49Who said that?
17:50You said that, too, as well.
17:51Are you enjoying yourself?
17:54That is good.
17:55Oh, okay.
17:56Come on, friend.
17:57Tell the people your name.
17:59My name is Crystal Coleman, and I kind of want to piggyback on the question that the other
18:04lady had.
18:04I would like to know if you are willing to open up a franchise chicken place like Popeye's
18:12or Church's for us.
18:14Well, that's a good question.
18:19I mean, I never thought about it.
18:23You know what I will tell you?
18:25Being as though that I have had restaurants, the restaurant industry is the hardest business
18:31that I've ever been a part of.
18:34You know, it is really, really tough.
18:36And I don't really know.
18:39Maybe it might be different with, like, franchising something that's more of a quick, fast type
18:44of restaurant.
18:44But either way, I feel like, you know, I've learned a lot of lessons, you know what I mean?
18:49And I feel like out of the different businesses that I've been a part of, that one is the hardest
18:54one, because you get so frustrated.
18:56You be thinking that you're fixing everything, but it's so dependent on everybody in your
19:00team.
19:01And you need so many from the person that meets, greets people at the door to the back
19:06of the kitchen and all of that.
19:08That everybody affects, every little thing counts.
19:12And if one person is not holding the standard, man, you're looking crazy.
19:18You're looking crazy in these streets.
19:20So it's tough.
19:23So to answer your question, girl, I don't want no more restaurants.
19:28I don't know.
19:29That was a long thing to say, to say, no, I don't want no more restaurants.
19:36Anyway, you know what?
19:38This is something that else is really cool.
19:40So I love this.
19:41This is the Instix Mini 12 camera.
19:47And let me see.
19:51Did I turn it on?
19:53I must not turn it on.
19:54I thought I turned it on, but maybe I did not turn it on.
19:57Maybe I didn't turn it on.
19:59Okay.
20:00Well, the thing about this camera, I don't think the power is on.
20:04Or they didn't put batteries in it, one or the other.
20:09Okay.
20:10Let me figure it out.
20:12Anyway, the reason why I think that this one is a really, really cool item is because we
20:17only take pictures on our phones now.
20:21And have y'all thought about the fact that, oh, she's going to do it.
20:25Sorry.
20:26Have y'all thought about the fact that when we get older or if we're no longer here, that
20:34all those pictures in your phone, if you don't print them out, nobody's going to have them.
20:41I have so many pictures from when I was younger that I used to print and, you know, all that
20:46stuff.
20:46And, you know, everybody loves to go through old family photo books and photo albums or
20:51the pictures that we put on our walls.
20:53But that's going to be non-existent in the future if people don't really print their
20:58photos.
20:58Because what happens if your hard drive crash or, you know, nobody knows your code to open
21:04up your photos.
21:05So you don't think about those type of things later on in life, you know.
21:09But I always think about that because, you know, especially when you lose people important
21:15in your life and you think about it, it makes you be like wondering like, dang, you know,
21:20if we didn't have no picture together or whatever.
21:23So I always say, print your photos, y'all.
21:27Print your photos.
21:31Here we go.
21:34Wait, what am I doing?
21:35I'm over here putting my finger on top of the lens.
21:41Here we go.
21:44All right.
21:44I always love a good Polaroid.
21:53Love a good Polaroid.
21:55You know, that's that instant gratification.
21:59Oh, I forgot to tell y'all that this fan also has a flashlight.
22:02Just FYI.
22:04This fan.
22:06So it's pretty cool for that as well.
22:09I'm over here with all kind of products in my hand.
22:11Let me put this down for a second.
22:12I like to greet and meet the people.
22:16So let's have a talk about something that I've used recently.
22:19These liquid hydration multiplier electrolyte drink mix.
22:26This is really good, y'all.
22:27You can keep these in your purse or in your bag.
22:30Whatever you got.
22:31They're easy to carry around.
22:33But they keep you hydrated.
22:35And when you go out of town, they are good to take.
22:39I went to Zanzibar in January.
22:43And I took these with me.
22:46So I always try to share with y'all stuff that I've been able to find, you know, that I actually use myself.
22:53So if you get a chance, go ahead and get you some of those.
22:56All right, friends.
22:57Let me see over here.
22:58How you doing?
23:00I'm great.
23:01You got bags.
23:03You've been already shopping.
23:04Let me see over here.
23:05Okay.
23:08Oh, you got me on live.
23:09What is your name?
23:10Leticia.
23:11Hello, Leticia.
23:12Where are you from?
23:14Nice to meet you.
23:16Where are you from?
23:17I am from Tivotal, Louisiana, about an hour from New Orleans.
23:20Oh, folks.
23:21Yes.
23:21I love your accent.
23:23Don't y'all love people, you know, that live around this area?
23:26Their accent is so cool to me.
23:28Okay.
23:28Do you have a question today?
23:29I just want to congratulate you for being a role model for black women like me.
23:34We love you.
23:35We admire you.
23:37And we want to keep uplifting you and keep blessing, keep praying for you to do the best.
23:42You're wonderful.
23:43I appreciate that.
23:45It really feels good.
23:46Thank you for the love.
23:48It's nice to meet you as well.
23:51Guys, let me just say, this is beautiful.
23:54You know what?
23:55I also should have asked you, what product over there did you have or anybody out here
24:00you want to shout out today that you, you know, so many amazing booths out here.
24:05Anybody that you saw that you was like, let me shout them out?
24:09I would like to definitely shout out, what's the hair product we just bought, Sari?
24:15We just bought some hair products from a black-owned business.
24:20That's always good.
24:21Hair loss and hair thinning and we just bought a bunch of.
24:26Okay, girl, help me out because I had a little thinning up in here.
24:30I thought I was going to have to get me some of those hair plugs.
24:34Y'all know.
24:36And you want to look and see what's in.
24:38Okay.
24:38Shout out to Bask and Lather.
24:42Oh, that sounds cool.
24:43Shout out to y'all.
24:44Shout out to y'all.
24:45Hopefully y'all have y'all products.
24:47Huh?
24:49Tokyo.
24:49Tokyo.
24:50Okay.
24:51She's shouting out Tokyo.
24:52Yes.
24:53And I got to shout out my girl, Angel Love.
24:55She has her booth somewhere around here.
25:00So, yeah, everybody is doing their thing.
25:04Okay.
25:04Here's something else that I liked.
25:06Everybody need a good stand or a good selfie stick.
25:09So, this one, it is, you can use it as a selfie stick.
25:15Boom.
25:16Or you can, excuse me, or you can just have it as a stand.
25:23Sometimes it's good to have one that could do like this length to where you can put it
25:27on your table if you just want to sit down and do like a food blog, for instance, and you
25:32just need a stand that sits on your table.
25:34You don't want it too tall.
25:35But then you also want one that can actually go up.
25:39And this one actually goes up.
25:42Unfortunately for me, I got the mic in my hand and I'm trying, but y'all get the point.
25:47You get what I'm saying?
25:48And so, it goes from super short to super tall.
25:53And so, that's why I like it because sometimes you get a stand that will only do, you know,
25:59tall enough for your table or it'll be tall enough for here.
26:03It's not no in between.
26:05So, this one is perfect.
26:06And it also comes with a little remote that you can, you know, so if you don't have anybody
26:11take your pictures, you can just tap and then, you know.
26:16How are you guys doing?
26:19I'm coming to this side.
26:21What's up with the people over here?
26:25Y'all, I hope y'all going to have energy for the rest of the day because y'all, y'all sitting
26:30over here just, yeah.
26:33Okay.
26:34So, how are you feeling over here?
26:36What is going on?
26:38Y'all been shopping?
26:40Have y'all been shopping?
26:41Okay.
26:42Well, that's good.
26:42That's good.
26:44They said I only got one minute left, so it was really time for me to say goodbye.
26:47And I didn't even tell you what my favorite product was.

26:59something within this live stream.

27:24That's how my daughter Riley wears the big hair and all the wild styles.
27:28I like that.
27:29Stand out in a crowd, always.
27:32Yes.
27:33All right.
27:33Well, what I will say is I did not get through everything on my list.
27:37It's so many great products.
27:39But you definitely need your battery charger, portable battery chargers, and some cute shades
27:47are important.
27:50Okay.

30:23Then I don't even know how.
30:25Bought to pull me a Benz out.
30:27I took the top off.

30:42Catching in and I cash out.
30:43Turn that shit to a stash house.
30:45I ain't taking no hand out.
30:47When they calling, I'm in route.
30:48But them niggas, they been down.
30:50Blow her back when I'm in town.
31:08They been down.
33:26I'm constantly trying to remember, like, okay, you have to chase your goals, but you've got to check in with your mom, and you've got to make sure your sisters are okay, you've got to make sure your bills are paid, but you've got to make sure you have fun and time for you, time for your friends.
33:37And, like, I just constantly feel like I'm neglecting parts of my life.
33:41Nope.
33:42Nope.
33:43God made a day, 24 hours.
33:46Yeah.
33:47Not a lot of time.
33:47Because you just can't do it all in one moment.
33:51There's past, present, and the future.
33:55You've got to put pieces into place.
33:5724 hours.
33:59You take part of those hours.

38:02Please welcome Billie Jean
38:03Thank you
38:09Hi guys, how are you?
38:11Welcome to Essence Fest
38:12Welcome to Beautycon
38:14Today I'm going to show you how to create the easiest, effortless, everyday glam
38:20With my beautiful model
38:22Wherever she is
38:24Feel free to raise your hand if you guys have any questions
38:30I'll show you how to keep your makeup on
38:33How to perfect your brows
38:34All of that
38:36Hi
38:37You said she'd come in and said I'm the model
38:42Huh?
38:43I'm the model
38:43Okay, one second
38:44Hi
38:45I set up for the other girl
38:47I set up for the other girl
38:49I can't
38:55I set up for the other girl
39:06I set up for the other girl
39:25Okay, you can sit right here, love
39:51Perfect
39:53Perfect
39:53You can sit here
40:15So essentially with any makeup prep, you want to always start with your skin care. Skin care
40:26is going to be essential in how the makeup lays, how it wears throughout the day. No
40:33matter if your skin is oily or dry, it's always important to really hydrate and prep the face.
40:39I know a lot of people that have oily skin are afraid of moisturizers, but essentially
40:44the moisturizer is going to be a barrier that's going to protect your skin and allow that
40:49makeup to lay really, really well. Here I'm using Neutrogena's Hydro Boost to hydrate her skin.
40:56I love this moisturizer because it's a water-based moisturizer, so it really allows your skin to be
41:02hydrated, supple, which is essentially what you want in laying the base for the makeup.
41:08I'm also a huge advocate of eye cream. Prepping that eye area really allows your concealer not to separate
41:19and allowing products to penetrate closer to the eye area. A lot of people skip eye cream, look up for me.
41:30Eye cream is essentially the only thing that shows age. So if you want to know how old someone is, you can
41:35always tell by looking at that eye area. It's important to gently just apply a thin layer of this
41:40right on the orbital eye area. Once that's set, I then like to move to the brows.
41:57Sorry. I am using a Benefit brow pencil. The first step in doing that is always brushing the brows in the same direction.
42:14This really allows you to sculpt and shape and really see exactly where you want the brows to be.
42:21Once you have the shape, I then like to start in the middle of the brow, slowly making light strokes
42:34to fill in the brow. While her hair is naturally maybe a 1B, I like to go in with a little bit shade
42:42of a lighter brown to really help soften the eye. Again, starting in the middle of the brow and then slightly pulling outward.
42:58I like to leave the inner of the brow clean, so it kind of creates a more natural effect.
43:25If you desire a more defined brow, I also then go in with a powdered eyeshadow, literally in the same area, just with an angle brush, to add more definition to the brow.
43:40As soon as I can find that brush, I can show you. So now here with an eyeshadow that's in the same dark brown color,
43:50I take this shadow and I apply it right in the same area where that pencil was applied.
43:55To then set the brow, I like to pick up a brow gel called Brow Free.
44:02To really tame the brow and allow you to add feather and strokes and the shape that you desire to your brow.
44:09This allows your brow to lock in place and literally allows you to create whatever shape that you desire to your brow.
44:16To then set the brow, I like to pick up a brow gel called Brow Freeze to really tame the brow and allow you to add feather and strokes and the shape that you desire to your brow.
44:31This allows your brow to lock in place and literally allows you to create whatever shape you desire.
44:41Again, I like to keep the front really feathered and then really locking in the rest of the hairs to kind of tame them and shape them.
44:48Once that brow is in set, I like to move on to the eye area.
45:06For eyeshadow base, I really like to just use concealer.
45:17I really think this really allows your eyeshadow to help stay in place without it moving throughout the day.
45:26I take a very small amount and place it literally on the center of the eyelid and then begin to buff out whatever is left.
45:33This will ensure that your eyeshadow stays intact and in place throughout the day.
45:45You literally want to just pull this product exactly wherever you expect your eyeshadow placement to be.
45:53Fingers always help with warming up products.
45:56If that product ever feels like it's caking or too thick in one area, gently take your fingertip
46:01and that's going to allow the product to warm up.
46:13So the key to makeup is always making it easy, effortless, and simple as possible for you.
46:19This also helps to conceal if there's any darkness on the top of your lid that mimics the bottom of your eyelid.
46:45This trick also helps to conceal that.
46:53I'm then taking a matte brown eyeshadow and I'm placing this right on the corner of her eyelid.
46:59This just allows you to create more depth and definition.
47:03So with the look that we're doing today, we're going to use all brown shades to really shape and define her lid.
47:09While keeping the center of the lid clean, I'm taking that brown shade in the inner, slightly buffing here as well as here.
47:23You can pull out to extend.
47:31You can open for me.
47:33So if you notice, we created shape by leaving the center of her lid clean.
47:37And now applying that same technique on this side.
47:41It's always important to try to mimic what you do on one side to the other side to really make sure your symmetry is there.
47:49I always suggest picking up less product and gradually adding more versus going in with a lot of product.
48:01This gives you more control and more shape.
48:05Once you have that base, I then like to take a cream shadow, essentially because we're going for a quick look.
48:29These shadows are really easy to operate.
48:31Literally pick up the shadow with your finger, and from there you want to finger press right onto the lid.
48:39This instantly gives your eye a little party, but just enough shimmer and glam that the eye is really stunning.
49:01And again, you want to focus this only in the center of the lid.
49:11Open for me.
49:17I then like to take this waterproof pencil.
49:23It's a Sephora pencil.
49:25It has a 12-hour wear.
49:27I'm going to gently apply this right at the lash line.
49:29Close for me.
49:31This really helps to add shape and definition to your lid.
49:35It's smudge proof and water resistant.
49:37So it really allows you to shape and define the eye.
49:41I like to take a small brush and diffuse that out just so you don't have any harsh lines and gives you a softer appearance of that liner.
49:53I also like to pull it to extend the eye just a bit.
49:57Open for me.
50:01With that same brush, I go in, applying it gently in the center and a little bit thinner on the inner.
50:11So it looks like the liner is just naturally appearing.
50:15And you can kind of pull out and extend depending on your desire or how dramatic you want the eye to be.
50:27And now I'm going to do the same thing to this eye by gently tugging always towards the outer if you want to get your line as straight as possible.
50:35Starting in the inner only allows room for error.
50:41With that same brush, I'm going to pull and extend.
50:52I'm going back in to pull it just a little closer.
51:00And by having the brush, it really allows you to kind of smudge it, which makes it error proof.
51:09Open for me.
51:10Open again.
51:17Open again.
51:32And again, I like to pull out and wing it out just a bit so it has a little drama to it.
51:36I then like to go in with the Nessa Myrick's Skin Serum, wherever it is.
51:43Do, do, do, do.
51:44Mmm.
51:45Okay.
51:46Well, in the perfect world, that's what I would use.
51:47Um.
51:48I'm now going to go in with the concealer.
51:50Do, do, do.
51:51Do, do, do.
51:52With concealer, I like to double conceal, going in with one shade as close to the model skin tone as possible.
51:58Literally placing this right here.
51:59Slightly not as high as you normally would go.
52:01That tends to make the concealer crease.
52:02That tends to make the concealer crease.
52:03So by going a little bit lower, I'm going to go in with the concealer.
52:04I'm going to go in with the concealer.
52:05I'm going to go in with the concealer.
52:06I'm going to go in with the concealer now.
52:08I'm going to go in with the concealer for the care.
52:09I'm going to go in with the concealer.
52:10I'm going to go tie it on.
52:11So cool.
52:12I'm going to Dziękuję?
52:13You're going to be careful down the mascara project with you.
52:15I will tell you how to get the mascara.
52:16Today, I'm going to stroke through the Pride area to 호arCore.
52:19right here. Slightly not as high as you normally would go. That tends to make the concealer
52:27crease. So by going a little bit lower, it leaves you room to really build and pull that
52:36concealer up. Once that concealer is set, I go in with the damp beauty blender, literally
52:42pressing this right into the skin and bringing that concealer upper a little bit higher.
53:07Picking up a little bit more product with the same concealer and pressing it right into
53:11the skin. Be sure not to go too high so we don't crease. Once that first layer of concealer
53:28is on, I then like to take that same concealer and apply it around the mouth area. This helps
53:33with any discoloration. And with that same damp beauty blender, pressing that right into the
53:49skin. And now with that same concealer, tracing it throughout the face, bringing it down the
53:56bridge of the nose, and right on the forehead as well. And then literally smashing right
54:03into the skin with that same beauty blender. Once that base is set, I then look at the skin
54:10that same beauty blender. Once that base is set, I then like to go in with the second concealer.
54:17I am going to use the Pat McGrath concealer. This concealer is a little bit more creamy and gently applying it right in the center of the eye here. This is going to help brighten the nose.
54:20and open up the eye area. When using multiple concealers, it's important to make sure the texture is there. If we've used some concealer, we're going to make sure the texture is there.
54:27Once that base is set, I then like to go in with the second concealer. I am going to use the Pat McGrath concealer. This concealer is a little bit more creamy and gently applying it right in the center of the eye here. This is going to help brighten and open up the eye area.
54:41When using multiple concealers, it's important to make sure the texture is there. If we've used something waterproof before, making sure that this concealer is just a little bit more hydrating to add that brightness in her eye area without it being too cakey.
55:02Again, just smashing it right into the face with this beauty blender.
55:09By smashing it, you're able to create it and make it very skin-like. Look up again for you.
55:39I then smash the same beauty blender throughout the face so that color traces throughout the face. You never want just the concealer to be here. We want to see that color throughout your entire face.
55:54For foundation, I'm going to use the Lancome Tintadol foundation. This is a waterproof, I believe it has a 24-hour wear quality to it as well.
56:15And so starting on the outer of the face, I like to start here. That way you aren't applying too much product to the face and pull out.
56:31When color matching, it's always important to make sure you look at the neck because you want to buff the foundation down so it doesn't jump off the face.
56:38And literally just smashing the foundation right into the skin until it appears skin-like.
56:44And because this is a waterproof foundation, you can use as much or as little as you like. I probably need one more pump.
56:59And you're going to get the same amount of coverage. The beauty about this foundation is that it gives the coverage, but it's also extremely lightweight.
57:16And so you don't feel it on your skin. Put your lips in for me.
57:25When at the forehead, I try to use as little product as possible because of sweating.
57:39Also, the forehead tends to also be a little bit darker than any other area of the face.
57:44So be sure not to apply too much product and just slightly diffusing that right into the forehead.
57:50It's okay about it not matching exactly because I'm then going to go in with the bronzer to create shape and definition to the face.
58:06You then can pick up that same beauty blender with that foundation.
58:10And you just kind of want to smash it into the skin to make sure it's all matching and even.
58:16Once that's set, while we're still dealing with dewy products, I then like to contour with.
58:36.
58:37.
58:38.
58:52.
58:53.
58:54.
58:55.
58:56.
