Croket! 2: Yami no Bank to Banqueen is an action RPG based on the Croket! anime and manga series. The game follows the protagonist Croket as he battles against the Shishkebab Army, who are attempting to resurrect the villainous Ban Queen using the Dark Bank. The story begins when Croket travels to a snowy northern mountain region in search of Prohibited Kinkas (forbidden coins) to bring his father back to life, but is defeated by a mysterious banker named Basil, leading to the kidnapping of his friends Aiolu and Menchi. The game features turn-based battles, treasure collection, and various mini-games. Unlike previous Croket! GBA titles, this installment introduces original characters like the antagonist Basil while retaining familiar characters from the series. Players engage in combat encounters while progressing through an original story set in the Croket! universe. The game remained exclusive to Japan.
