Bakunetsu Dodge Ball Fighters is a fast-paced dodgeball game and a spin-off of the Super Dodge Ball series, licensed by Million Co., Ltd., the successor to Technōs Japan. Set in the year 20XX where dodgeball has become the world's number one sport, players compete in tournaments to prove their team is the best. The game features multiple international teams, each consisting of eight members with seven allowed to play - four in the inner court and three on the outer court. Each character has unique stats including Throw Power, Throw Speed, Throw Control, Agility, Jump, Catch, Dodge, Toughness, Will, and Stamina. Players can execute 50 different special throws, including Dash Super Throws and Jump Super Throws, as well as tag team attacks that deal extra damage. The game includes a story mode where players compete to become champions, and supports multiplayer for up to four players via link cable. The international version renamed teams to include various nationalities, while the Japanese version featured more Japan-centric teams.
