00:00What's up Suns fans? Let's get straight into the injury update from coach Jordan Ott this Saturday.
00:06Phoenix Suns guard Grayson Allen, dealing with a knee issue, will be re-evaluated after the
00:11upcoming All-Star break. The same timeline applies to our two-way forward Isaiah Livers,
00:16who has a shoulder injury. Both players exited Thursday night's loss to the Golden State Warriors.
00:21The All-Star game is set for February 15th. Our Phoenix Suns return to action on February 19th,
00:28traveling to San Antonio, to take on the Spurs. For Grayson Allen, the injury happened with just
00:33over three minutes left in that Warriors game. He came down from a rebound attempt, and landed on
00:38the foot of Warriors guard Gary Payton II. Allen was able to walk off the court without help,
00:44but went directly to the locker room and did not return to the game. Before exiting, he posted a
00:49solid line of 21 points, five rebounds, four assists, and one steal in 33 minutes of play.
00:55This is his third season with us. Before Saturday night's game against the 76ers,
01:00Allen had played in 35 of the team's first 52 games this season. He's previously missed time
01:06with a quadriceps injury in November, and then due to an illness and a right knee injury in December.
01:11For the season, he's averaging 17 points, three rebounds, and four assists per game,
01:16shooting 41.8% from the field and 36.9% from three-point range. As for Isaiah Livers,
01:23he suffered a left shoulder sprain during his three minutes of action on Thursday.
01:28In his fourth professional season, Livers has appeared in 29 games this year,
01:32averaging 2.2 points and 1.9 rebounds in 10.1 minutes per game.
01:37So, the big question for you all is, with our depth being tested right before the break,
01:42which player's absence do you think impacts our rotation the most as we look toward the final
01:47push of the season?
