00:06Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived at the Seri Perdana Complex on Sunday
00:10for a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
00:18The two leaders are expected to review Malaysia-India ties
00:23and explore deeper cooperation in areas including trade and investment,
00:27defence and security, labour, tourism, connectivity, agriculture and education.
00:33The discussion will also include regional and international issues of mutual interest.
00:39Following the meeting, both leaders will witness the exchange of several agreements
00:43covering multiple sectors.
00:44These include Memoranda of Understanding on Combating Corruption,
00:48Seafarer Training Standards and Certification and Disaster Management.
00:53Additional agreements cover audio-visual production,
00:55labour collaboration and exchanges in semiconductors,
00:59healthcare, national security and vocational education.
01:03The exchange will also include letters on UN peacekeeping cooperation
01:06and submission of the framework agreement on International Big Cats Alliance.
01:11Both leaders are expected to have a closed-door meeting involving only the two of them.
01:16Anwar will also host an official luncheon in honour of Modi.
01:19The visit is expected to further strengthen bilateral relations
01:23and foster enhanced cooperation in areas of mutual benefit,
