00:00You know, for me, I think one of the things that has helped the NFL has been sports betting.
00:05You tell me if you think that this has been a major part of why the ratings are going up.
00:11I think it's prop bets, because even if a team is getting blown out like late in the third and fourth quarter, many people have prop bets.
00:21They have like these fantasy football teams and it keeps people more engaged.
00:26Where in years past, those blowout games, people are not engaged.
00:31So sports betting in many ways, you know, it's kind of like Teflon and it's kind of like a fail safe if the game is bad.
00:39Like if this game is a blowout on Sunday, right? Right there, right? I mean, am I right there?
00:45It's in your hands now, right?
00:47Before you had to go down the corner bar, corner bodega, you know, you got to find a bookmaker in the street.
00:53Now it's in your hand. You can place a bet every half a second.
00:57I mean, you can go crazy. It's scary in a way, you know, to open up a can of worms for some people that don't have the willpower to control themselves.
01:06But it's in your hand. It's so much more accessible than it used to be.
01:10And like you said, there's a million things to bet on now. So, yeah, there's so much going on.
01:14How long before we start to see sports books at stadiums, do you think that that's the next step for the National Football League and gaming is having sports books at these giant stadiums?
01:27Yeah, I talked about it back in 2016-17. I said the future is you're going to have sports books in probably every NFL stadium, every NBA stadium, you know, every baseball stadium.
01:39It happened for years overseas. So why it's not going to happen here? It's going to happen.
01:45It's the evolution of the sports betting market. And they're trying to make as much money as possible.
01:51And they're trying to make as much money as possible.
