00:00What was the moment where your life changed?
00:03Well, getting on that stage for the first time was pretty big.
00:06Just doing that was very exciting.
00:09I loved the energy of just talking to a microphone in public
00:13and the idea of free speak and being able to say whatever you want.
00:17I thought that would be enough, but over time, I just saw it taking over my life
00:22and decided that I was all in, and that was pretty risky and scary.
00:26I had a college degree, but yet here I was doing comedy shows for 50 bucks,
00:31100 bucks, whatever it was, and worked my way up where I was making a few hundred bucks a week
00:36going, hey, I'm actually surviving as a comic.
00:39You don't think of it as a big break, but you think of it as step by step,
00:42joke by joke, gig by gig, check by check.
