00:24And the strikers are actually doing pretty good.
00:26You know, they have this, like the Beckham style of MLS, Marco Fabian, with the strikers, which is, you know, such an amazing football player that has played for Chivas, Cruz Azul, Frankfurt national team, ganador de la medalla de oro olimpica with the national team.
00:41But, you know, this type of football is growing a lot in the United States.
00:45It's only getting better and better. The arenas are very beautiful.
00:48They play the Toyota arena, one of the best arenas around the area.
00:52And it's getting very exciting because you get also teams from Mexico.
00:56Even though this season there's no teams from Mexico, next season there's going to be, I think, up to three teams from Mexico, Monterrey, Chihuahua, and maybe Jalisco.
01:04But right now the strikers are doing really good.
01:06With the coach Ovasi, a very different style of football.
01:08You know, he's a coach that likes to play forward a lot.
01:13And he has come to the point that they finally beat the Comets of Kansas for the first time in their franchise history.
01:20Oh, amazing. We were there in the game a couple of weeks ago.
01:24The environment is great. The game day experience is amazing.
01:27Like you said, Marco Fabian is a great leader for this team.
01:29But not only inside of the pitch, also I saw him take the time to sign autographs and meet people probably for an hour after the game.
01:37Everyone that got in line got to have some quality time with Marco Fabian,
01:41which for me is a refreshing side that now to see these kids that get to live so close to the action and so forth.

01:56I know that one of the players that really deserves some props is the goalkeeper.

02:02Tell us about the goalkeeper from the strikers because he is pura calidad.
02:06The beauty about the strikers is that you have players from all over the world.
02:09One of them being Brian Orozco, one of the top goalkeepers in the league.
02:12He not only saves a lot of goals, he scores bangers of goals.
02:16From Guatemala, Para el Mundo, Brian Orozco is one of the goalkeepers that Obasi loves to use a lot
02:23because he goes up and he takes shots and he has to score a couple of goals this season.
02:27We also have Walter Diaz, Mr. Cuba, you know, being hot in the last three games,
02:34scoring six goals in the last three games.
02:36I mean, this is a kid that is growing in this Major League Soccer League
02:40and he scores with the left, with the right.
02:43You know, we also have El Mexicano Chavez from El Paso, Texas, but he was in Chihuahua.
02:49Paul Hernandez from Tijuana.
02:51Stinson, one of the best players.
02:53We call him El Maguito Stinson, the number 10 of the Empire strikers.
02:56And then we got Palmer, our captain, the best, one of the best defenders in Major League Soccer League
03:01from Jamaica, Para el Mundo.
03:03So, I mean, it's a little bit of everything.
03:04You're going to see a lot of different faces, different countries represented,
03:07and that's why you should go and see the strikers.
03:10Now, very, very exciting things are happening around Major Arena Soccer League.
03:14Why it's so important that this league exists?
03:17Because I see one thing that I really love is how many opportunities to up-and-coming players
03:23they are providing.
03:24A lot of these players are finding their second chance in the strikers.
03:28Talk to me about the player development that happens with Major Arena Soccer League.
03:32I mean, the beauty of this is that there's a lot of players that instead of playing in La Talache,
03:35they make good money.
03:36They come and play on a professional level and professional arena in this type of football,
03:40six versus six.
03:41I mean, we have players.
03:43Blas Perez was part of this.
03:45Ayobi was part of this.
03:47And then we got youngsters that maybe didn't have the chance with Cholos,
03:51because we have, you know, Cholos even from MLX next.
03:54And this is exciting to see.
03:55This is a second chance for them in totally different football,
03:59but they're very excited because at the end of the day, football is football.
