Watch as a mobile phone shop owner was left stunned after an unexpected customer sprinted through the door.
The video, filmed by Jiang Yonghan in Sichuan province in southwestern China, shows the shop owner standing behind the counter using a phone when a wild deer suddenly rushes into the store.
The animal immediately leaps onto the counter and runs deeper into the shop, causing a moment of panic and confusion.
The owner quickly recognizes the animal as a red muntjac, a protected species in China, and chooses not to scare it.
Instead of chasing it away, he calmly climbs up onto the counter and stays still, giving the deer space while keeping a safe distance.
The deer remains inside briefly before help arrives. It was later safely transferred to a professional wildlife protection organization for proper care.
