Watch as a curious cat got the shock of its life after trying to spy on fish in a tank.
The video, filmed in Shaanxi, northwestern China by Zhang Xuemeng, shows a cat lying on top of a fish tank and peering down intently at the fish swimming below.
As the cat leans closer to investigate, a small white fish suddenly darts forward and jumps up.
In a split second, the fish strikes the cat with its mouth, leaving the cat completely stunned and frozen in place.
The tiny attacker then quickly disappears behind green plants inside the tank, leaving the cat confused and unable to respond.
