00:07According to the report from the Philippine Statistics Authority,
00:10the employment rates or the number of Filipinos with jobs slightly increased last December
00:15compared to the same period in 2024.
00:19Meanwhile, there was almost no change in the number of unemployed Filipinos, which is at 4.4%.
00:25The number of Filipinos needing additional hours of work to earn income or the underemployment rate significantly decreased to 8%.
00:33The last time the country recorded a single-digit underemployment rate was in 2024.
