00:00First Nations people coming to terms with the alleged motivations for the attack.
00:07You can't forget a day like that, it's going to be hedged into our memories until I pass away.
00:14Worry about our people, our safety concerns of our people and actual injustices of our people too.
00:20Rally organisers and Elders meeting the Premier and several Ministers.
00:25They are said that they are going to look after everybody.
00:30Everyone.
00:31That's looking after us people and everyone who come to these gatherings.
00:39Minangkuren woman Hannah Maglade decided not to go to the rally this year because she felt uneasy.
00:45Imagine if this had detonated and killed innocent women, children, Elders on that day,
00:51how we would be feeling as a society, we would be absolutely on our knees and crippled and so hurt particularly as Aboriginal people.
01:00Calling for a continued focus on racism to ensure safety at gatherings.
01:05We do have to take more action against racism and we have to make sure that we are properly prosecuting racially motivated crimes.
01:13Questions remain about the time it took authorities to declare the attempted bombing an alleged terrorist act.
01:20Frankly, it was hard to imagine how else this event could have possibly be perceived but a terrorist act.
01:26And having that vindicated today I think is really important.
01:29The opposition leader again denying his response to last week's incident was delayed.
01:34I am very comfortable with the approach that I have taken.
01:37This sort of action, terror, this sort of ideology has no place in Western Australia.
01:44Authorities calling for calm amid heightened tensions.
01:48There is no risk that I have taken any enemy to avoid any tensions.
01:54People are concerned.
01:55Contact us in the economic situation.
01:56That's the case.
01:57The potential can be considered in one minute in Western Australia.
01:58We're not able to do anything to stop and lay these tensions.
02:00But then we're able to say that we are further using our western pursuits.
02:01We will not be able to push our own reprobate positions.
02:03But we're not able to push off the Capitol for that.
02:05So we are not able to do anything and we have to do it.
