01:26oh
01:32Today, we want to introduce to you who we are and our project, and we're going to touch
01:49on our feature film, Necropolis, that's set to go hot November 30th.
01:55Just to let y'all know a little bit about it, the zombie apocalypse film is called Necropolis.
02:00It's going to be shot in the DMV area, Manassas, Maryland, all surrounding DMV area, so we're
02:07showing the love to the community here in the DMV, and we want to project this as our flagship
02:13project for Real Brothers Productions.
02:15We kind of say this, our horror film for everybody in the community is going to be more of a horror
02:22film with a heartbeat.
02:24You're going to be scared, but you're probably in their crime because you're going to fall
02:27in love with the characters.
02:28The characters are a diverse cast, the people, and it's going to come from all aspects.
02:34It's telling our story, the minority story, how we negotiate a zombie apocalypse, correct?
02:41Absolutely right.
02:43So we want to take you on a journey, and we want to show you how we create, develop, and
02:47produce a film, and what some people call the next cult classic.
02:52Yeah, all right, so stick around, because at the end of this, we're going to show the teaser
02:58for Necropolis, and then we're going to tell you how you can be a part of it, how you can
03:03help bring this story to life.
03:06Well, but first, who are the Real Brothers?
03:09We are actually, we started off us, well, who we are, we're three screenwriters that got
03:16together.
03:17We're all trying to do the same thing.
03:19Everybody wants to get to Hollywood, to Atlanta, and get their film, their projects, their ideas
03:24up on the big screen or streamed, like everything's going right now since COVID kicked in.
03:30And we're like, hey, we're getting locked doors, people are telling us things, and it's just
03:37not working out.
03:38So it's always better to have a team.
03:40And so we decided, hey, let's get together, let's go on Voltron, and come together as a
03:45team, and let's get our stuff, get our projects out there.
03:48And that's what we've been doing.
03:49We've been grinding since, oh man, we've known each other for a long, long time.
03:53So we want to get our project out there, and we just said, hey, let's work together and
03:57make it happen.
03:58You've all got the hustle, you've got the drive, you've got the competition, and that's
04:02what we want to do, create big content for everyone.
04:05Absolutely.
04:06Absolutely.
04:06We've been working hard behind the scenes, and like Trey said, forming that dynamic trio,
04:16and it's been coming together.
04:19So we sat down, and we wanted to make our first film together, and we wanted it to be
04:27memorable.
04:28So we looked and tried to figure out which type of genre we were going to do, and one
04:34of the easiest ones to do is horror.
04:36We had already looked at our material that we had, and we knew that Necropolis was going
04:44to be ahead.
04:46So, Dre, can you give us a little bit about Necropolis, since you are the writer slash director?
04:53Yeah.
04:53Yeah.
04:54So, man, what a journey.
04:55What a journey.
04:58Necropolis was, I mean, originally it was just a short script just to work on my writing
05:02skills.
05:03I submitted it to a contest that won, and you know, I love that script.
05:09You know, I fell in love with it, and I was approached by a guy who saw it in a contest
05:14and asked me if I wanted to turn it into a comic book, and you know, we wanted to add a, I
05:20guess, a superhero element to an apocalypse, and kind of along the same lines of what we
05:25got, you know, with someone holding a secret.
05:28So, that's kind of how everything came to be.
05:30Then Tony Tye was interested in it, so it kind of started to blow up, and you know, from there,
05:37like you said, you know, we wanted to get the easiest genre of War 2 was for, and we
05:41turned it into a feature film.
05:43Awesome.
05:43I can remember sitting down and reading the script for the first time, and I was just
05:50consumed with Marcus and Ethan, who are the main characters, the development you'll see
06:00in their relationship as the story goes along.
06:04I don't want to spoil it for you guys, but it is full of, like Trey said, it's a heartbeat.
06:11It's going to make you jump.
06:13It's going to make you cry.
06:15You know, it's going to make you mad.
06:17It's going to pull on every emotion.
06:19So, that's our goal.
06:20We want to pull on every emotion.
06:23Yes, it's definitely going to hit some heartstrings, and I think it's something that we need right
06:28now in this day and age where we're going through, now that we have more and more black artists
06:35and filmmakers getting their stuff out there, man, we can sit there.
06:37We talked about Lovecraft the other night, which is, I think, one of the most epic things,
06:43how Watchmen just flipped the script on the whole world, and it actually educated people
06:48in, on, like, Oklahoma.
06:50And everybody's like, Oklahoma really happened?
06:53Right.
06:53Yeah.
06:54You know, and with our films, we're going to drop those little gems in there.
06:58Like, everything's, we want to make almost everything have, like, a meaning.
07:01It's just not a hard flick that you're going to be like, one time it's over, there's a little
07:06blood.
07:06No.
07:07We want you to be able to rewind that bad boy and go, ah, I missed something.
07:11Hey, what did I miss?
07:11Have those conversations, especially in our community.
07:15You know, hey, what will we do?
07:17Hey, how will we react to this stuff?
07:20And you can vibe to that, and that's what we want.
07:23Absolutely.
07:24Right.
07:24I think that's what sets us apart, though, from other film companies, is I think we want
07:28people to think.
07:29We don't just want people to go see our stuff.
07:31We want people to engage.
07:32We want people to love our stuff.
07:36And 20, 30-plus years from now, you know, we want people to come back, too, and say,
07:39man, that was the best film I ever watched.
07:42So, yeah, you know, I think that's what's really going to put us on top.
07:45Yeah.
07:46Absolutely.
07:46Definitely.
07:47I want people to say, like, how Warriors has that one thing.
07:50They'll be like, Warriors, come on.
07:51They're going to take a chant from our film and be like, okay, that's going to be one
07:55of those things that make it a cult classic that everybody has.
07:58You've seen that?
07:58Remember that movie?
07:59It's full of that.
08:00Full of little surprises, full of moments that you want to hang on to.
08:05And I think the most important thing that we want to put out there as a minority-owned
08:11company, all black brothers coming together to form this company, we really want to put
08:18our people out as heroes.
08:21A lot of the times, you'll see us in a movie and we're villains, and it's like, nah, we
08:26need to put more heroes and not to shoot them up, bang, bang, or not just a cop or a bad
08:32guy, but heroes that can tell stories and lead the way, you know, giving black men and
08:39women leading roles in the community.
08:42And the great thing about Necropolis is we have a diverse cast.
08:47Yes.
08:48I mean, we touch on everybody, you know, pretty much, and have a little bit of representation
08:52for all people.
08:54So, with Trey leading the way as the leading man.
08:59I call it a box of Froot Loops because it's all different colors and everybody's all different
09:04and we shook it up and we found the right people.
09:07I have to give it up to you, Eric, for casting.
09:10As casting director, we really casted it to the T.
09:13I think everybody fits.
09:15Yeah.
09:16Yeah.
09:17It was cool, man.
09:17I enjoyed it.
09:18It was fun going through all those tapes and seeing a lot of people.
09:23And what made it more interesting is the environment that we have to work in with, you know, Zoom
09:29and all these different video chats that you have to go through and video submissions.
09:35You can't see that person in person, so to speak, during the time we were casting.
09:40But they did a pretty good job of putting their talents on the screen so that it made a lot
09:47of the roles easy to cast.
09:50Yes.
09:50It made it very easy.
09:51And we want that.
09:54I mean, I can't wait.
09:56No.
09:57There's a lot of buzz about it in the whole community.
09:59We got a lot of love from the Blurred community.
10:02Shout out to Hilton.
10:04You know, hey, Hilton really led the way in his Blurred community and they really accepted
10:08us.
10:08And, you know, we're going to show that love back to them.
10:10You're going to see some of the people that you always see out in the comic book community
10:14or those people that are always out there.
10:17And we're going to bring that to you.
10:18You're going to see someone.
10:19Hey, I know that person.
10:21They were on YouTube.
10:22Oh, they were on Facebook.
10:24Hey, they have a page here.
10:25I like page.
10:26You're going to see those people in our movie.
10:27Absolutely.
10:29As a director, Dre, what are you most looking forward to?
10:34Because this production is, we're in pre-production stage.
10:37We, again, like Trey said, we're set to start shooting next month.
10:41Um, what, what, what are you looking more forward to doing or what scenes or whatever without
10:47spoiling anything?
10:50That's tough not to spoil it.
10:52I know when we get to talking, we started just throwing everything out there.
10:56So I'm going to try my best.
10:58Um, but, uh, man, honestly, you know what I'm looking forward to is just, is seeing when
11:05you write something and when it comes to life, um, when you actually see the characters come
11:10to life, like everything that you imagined in your head, it's, it's all out there.
11:14And, uh, you know, really, I just want to see people's reactions when they see this film.
11:19Cause we, we know how great this film is, but when you see other people and they get
11:23the same experience that you had, like that's priceless.
11:26Um, you know, and the, uh, I guess the, the table read was, I mean, it was a glimpse
11:31into, you know, how awesome this can be.
11:34So I can only imagine what people are going to say when they see the film.
11:37Yeah.
11:38I was going to say that, um, having a table read.
11:40done and sitting down and then watching the characters come to life.
11:44Cause when you're reading them on page, you tend to read them in a different voice or
11:48whatever, but to actually have that character's voice now, now, when I go back to read the
11:54script, I'm starting to hear some of those characters voices in my head.
11:58And now it makes, it makes it feel more real.
12:00And I can visually begin to see the pages leap off the, the, the, the letters leap off the
12:06page.
12:06So, um, I can see that movie come to life.
12:09Um, another key thing is I like the fact that we, it's not only diverse, but we also lend
12:15the hand to veterans.
12:17Like a lot of people, Hey, secrets old, like 50% of our cast and crew are military veterans.
12:22And that's, that's something that's unheard of.
12:25Like veterans are a lot of talented.
12:27They're dedicated people.
12:29And we saw that.
12:30And we're like, Hey, uh, we reached out to VME veterans and media entertainment and some
12:35of our cast members, some of our crew are military veterans.
12:40So that makes it even more entertaining, especially behind the scenes, which I think those behind
12:44the scenes footage is going to be real crazy.
12:46Absolutely.
12:47They're going to bring it shout out to Virginia for, uh, coming through, uh, tremendously in
12:56providing different places, locations for us to shoot.
12:58Um, they have again, open up our, uh, open up their arms to us and, uh, which makes independent
13:05filmmaking a little bit more easier.
13:07Um, I think, you know, one of the points that I want to put out there is as an independent
13:12filmmaker is not like being behind a big budget when you got, uh, people who money that you
13:18can throw at people and they can say, yeah, well, you can come here at any time.
13:22You can block off the street.
13:24We don't have that.
13:25We don't have the big budget to just do whatever we want.
13:28So we have to, um, make the most out of the resources that we are presented with.
13:33And so having that, that as one of those things that we don't, we don't have to stress
13:38out about, uh, makes things a little bit more easier in independent work.
13:42And you said the key word, Eric, resource funding.
13:45A lot of people just to educate you in resource funding, you know, if you don't have that big
13:49money behind the million dollar budget, Lionsgate money and whatever, you know, you can always
13:53reach out and pay go to these businesses and say, Hey, this is what I'm trying to do.
13:58This is my vision.
13:59Will you help out?
14:00And that's what we've been doing a lot of a lot of people say, Hey, we like you guys.
14:03We've seen your work separately in the past and we believe in you.
14:07So, Hey, what do you know, what do you guys need?
14:09Research funding helps cut the budget in half.
14:12You don't always have to rent the room or the space or the equipment.
14:15Sometimes people are here.
14:17We'll just donate it.
14:18We're doing it for free.
14:19You know, we're doing a lot of crowdfunding to, for our first feature film, you know,
14:22the crowdfunding is still going on.
14:24So you see us out there, you know, and you think we're worthy, put that money forward,
14:29help help a black business, help us move forward.
14:31So we can create that content that you want to see know that you guys like, Hey, we're tired
14:36of seeing this certain type of horror film or we're certain action film.
14:40We want to see a little more of us or a little more of whatever's going on in the world that
14:44actually is actual, you know, what's going on.
14:47Our stories.
14:47We want our stories.
14:48And so we need you guys to be, um, the support to be that voice to say, this is what we want.
14:58This is the type of thing that we would want to see on screen.
15:01And sometimes you don't even know what you want until you see it on screen.
15:04So that's, that's one of the goals that we have in mind when we were writing to like,
15:08okay, let's give them something that they didn't even know they wanted.
15:13All right.
15:14So, so, um, trade a question for you as the, uh, leading actor in this film, uh, we are all
15:24juggling different roles.
15:25So we got, uh, we got the writer slash director.
15:29He's also a producer.
15:30So he's also behind the scene, making sure things are getting done and making phone calls
15:34and, and getting, uh, casting and all that stuff.
15:37He, he's helped with all that and, and you as a producer, and now you're also the leading
15:42role of this film.
15:44How do you balance and juggle those two roles so that, you know, that performance on screen
15:51can, you know, doesn't feel distracted.
15:53Hey, I think, uh, Dre gave me the challenge.
15:57He's like, Hey man, you put this role.
15:58And I was like, man, really do I, he's like, yeah, you know, you put the persona of the
16:03of Marcus, you know, I'm gonna let that out Marcus.
16:05And so it's a lot of getting up early in the morning, working out for the role so I can
16:09stay energetic and look the part of Marcus.
16:14And it's also just a lot of time management.
16:17Cause like you said, we, we all got nine to five jobs too.
16:20So this is something that we're working towards.
16:23So time management, us working together.
16:27I tell everybody we hustle hard together.
16:29You know, if once someone is getting caught up at work or doing something, can't get to
16:32it, the other one automatically jumps in without being told, you know, we keep reminding each
16:36other and that helps out a lot.
16:38Cause you know, sometimes I'll be like squirrel, you know, it's hard to get like that,
16:44especially in the movie industry where you want to do another project, but you haven't
16:48finished this project.
16:49And that's one thing we pride ourselves about finishing our projects.
16:52That's what we want to do.
16:53We want to show everybody, we got a lot, we still have a lot to prove.
16:57And I think that that keeps me going.
17:00You guys keep me going because I know, you know, it's not one thing that makes a film
17:05fail, but you don't want to be the thing that holds that, be that loose.
17:09I guess that, that, that person or that entity that stops a film from being what it could be.
17:15You know, yeah, cool.
17:17Great.
17:18You guys still back out in the boonies?
17:21Yeah, man.
17:22He's living in the sticks.
17:27He's living in the sticks.
17:29All right.
17:30Go ahead.
17:31I'll let you finish.
17:32Can y'all see me again?
17:33We can hear you.
17:34There you go.
17:35I was just saying to piggyback off of you, Trey.
17:40So what do you, my biggest question, what I think from Marcus to be for people, like
17:47what do you, what do you want people to see or notice or, what do you want Marcus to represent?
17:53Man.
17:54I want to, I want Marcus to represent that strength, that strength that we have as a people.
18:00Like you see Marcus, he's a man, he's actual background, he's a retired soldier.
18:06So I want you to know that another mindset, soldiers aren't just natural killers.
18:12We, we're, we're not so robotic that there's a person behind, behind that soldier.
18:18That's just like you, that likes to smoke cigars, likes to sip some alcohol on the weekend.
18:24That's in love that can love someone.
18:27And I think the show is really going to show that side of being not just a soldier, but
18:33actually being a person and just the humanity after this chaos kicks off.
18:38Like you're going to have to make some decision.
18:40And not all is going to be right.
18:42And then, you know, Ethan, his counterpart is going to have to regulate him as, hey,
18:48this is more than just some, this is a mission, but also there's a human spot that
18:53you can't just say, Hey, mission over.
18:59Oh, Oh.
19:04So Eric, let me hit you up.
19:06Yep.
19:07Exactly.
19:08So how do you feel like you, you've been doing all, you did all the good things, the
19:12casting, but then you're also in my movie as well.
19:15You know, your character is a pivotal role in it too.
19:18So how do you feel about your character and what it's going to bring to the actual show?
19:23Um, so I guess for my character, my character comes in and, and it's almost the comic relief
19:33in the, in the midst of this chaotic world.
19:36Um, not necessarily, you know, he, he, ha, ha, laps, uh, slapping comedy.
19:42Uh, but it's enough to make you smile enough to make you forget about what's going on.
19:48So I do want to be that, that moment.
19:50Cause you know, sometimes in the movie, you know, you have those different transitions
19:54where you're like, what type of movie am I watching again?
19:57So I want that to be that, that, that, that piece.
20:00So whenever there's a storm, whenever there's something that's going and shaking up everybody,
20:05um, you know, maybe, you know, when the ladies are scared and hugging on their man, you know,
20:10you know, I want to be that kind of relief to make them feel like, ah, to let their guards down
20:14so we can foul, scare them again.
20:16So I think that's what, um, was the motivation for my character as I go over as I've been developing.
20:24I think that will, um, be, the, uh, foundation of who Chuck is.
20:30That's, that's my Chuck.
20:31That's my character, Chuck.
20:32So.
20:33So that's the key thing.
20:35I mean, when you guys see Necropolis or it comes across and we're on all platforms,
20:40you know, support the movie, support the, cause it's just more than a movie.
20:44It's, it's for the culture, you know, it's really.
20:46Absolutely.
20:47For the culture.
20:48Let me ask Dre this.
20:49So I'm going to say this to Dre as the writer slash director again.
20:53Um, what, what do you want, uh, people to walk away with when they leave?
21:00Um, when they finished watching a movie.
21:02All right.
21:03So like, you know, whenever I watch a movie, um, if it's a good movie, I leave there like,
21:08yo, I remember watching fast and the furious for the first time.
21:12That was one of the movies.
21:13That was great.
21:14I left the parking lot.
21:15I got into my, uh, I think at the time I had a 19, a 1997 Honda Civic.
21:22Five speed.
21:23And I got in that joint and I was throwing it in gears.
21:27But I was in the movie, man.
21:32I was, I was like, who won't race me?
21:33You know?
21:34Well, that joint went, that joint went zero to 60 in like six seconds.
21:38But you know, it was moving.
21:41It was moving.
21:42Walking around.
21:43I live my life a quarter mile at a time.
21:46Yeah.
21:47I mean, so, so like what, what type of impact do you want, um, Necropolis to have on his viewers?
21:55From viewpoint.
21:56I guess, uh, one, you know, talking about our culture and kind of changing the narrative.
22:02Um, I want kids to identify with a hero that looked like them.
22:06And I know, you know, when I was younger, it was very rare to, to see somebody who looked
22:10like me saving the day.
22:14And, you know, and I hope, I hope it encourages us not only to be a hero, but to want to get
22:18in the film, know they can get in the film because they see us doing it.
22:20Um, but as well, like just the human aspect of the film, like it's a lot deeper than a
22:26horror film.
22:27It's the human aspect and how people act when things go bad.
22:31And just a constant reminder that, you know, like we're all in this together.
22:35We can either win together.
22:36We can lose together.
22:37So, um, just like I said, things to think about.
22:40Yeah.
22:41Uh, just to capitalize off what you were saying, man, I know like back in the day, I remember
22:47my dad, he was a big black exploitation fan.
22:50So three, the hard way, you know, Jim Brown running around, Kung Fu Joe.
22:55They were, there was our only heroes that we had been.
22:58I think action Jackson came with Carl Weathers and we're like, okay, we got something going
23:03on.
23:04And then, you know, Wesley came and killed it with blade and we're still, you know, we're
23:09still rest in peace.
23:10Chadwick Boseman.
23:11Chadwick Boseman.
23:12Yeah.
23:13Chadwick Boseman.
23:14Chadwick Boseman.
23:15That, you know, they changed the game.
23:18They were game changers.
23:19And that's what we should describe for.
23:21We want to change the game and keep leveling up every time we get a chance.
23:25Absolutely.
23:26Absolutely.
23:27Putting more and more heroes out there before the people.
23:30I want to remind everybody to stick around because we're going to show the teaser for Necropolis.
23:36And just to break it down, the teaser is just to give you a concept of the world in which
23:43Necropolis is put in.
23:45And it's, you know, a little taste of the characters here and there.
23:50So just be on the lookout for that.
23:53Talking about other things though.
23:54So, you know, Necropolis isn't the only thing that we got.
23:57We got, we got to know something else.
23:59Hey, Andre, you want to tell about that?
24:04Yeah.
24:06So another long process.
24:09But getting there is we got a box of round one.
24:14And we finally have kind of put the pieces together, the right pieces and moving in the right direction.
24:21And that's really going to be our first big budget film.
24:24Well, for us, big budget, not compared to Marvel.
24:29You're right.
24:30With anybody like that, but the process is our first.
24:36So people think it's not that it's about redemption, overcoming one showing a different hero and showing that your mistakes don't define you.
24:58They simply remind you.
24:59And, you know, so we want to just always leave the audience with something.
25:03So, yeah, be on the lookout for that, because that's coming right behind.
25:08That's right.
25:09That's right.
25:10And Real Brothers, we are packed with material, with talent, with stories that we have to tell.
25:15I mean, we have comedy shows.
25:18We have drama, TV shows, series that we're working on.
25:22And the three of us are working on something real special about Real Brothers to give you insight on who we are as well.
25:29A little bit more insight than what we're telling you now.
25:32But so we have a little bit of everything for everybody, even a romantic comedy that we have in the works.
25:41So, again, look out for Real Brothers, not just for Necropolis, round one, and those other things as we are working towards developing more material for our people.
25:54You know, one thing, Eric, one of the people was asking me the other day, they were like, do y'all have a writer's table or how do y'all do it?
26:03And I'm like, essentially, the three of us are the writer's table, you know?
26:06Right.
26:07We bounce everything off each other.
26:09We'll come up with, one of us will come up with a concept, maybe write it out.
26:12And then, you know, it's all love when we do it.
26:15Because, hey, I'll be like, Eric, Dre, what do y'all think about this?
26:18And I get constructive criticism that really works.
26:21That's like, hey, I didn't think about that.
26:23And we'll catch those.
26:24And I think that's what makes us all, we're all writers.
26:27We've all been actors.
26:29We've all been there so we know from each angle to look at, so.
26:33Absolutely.
26:34Absolutely.
26:35And then we've worked together, too, on another project to help produce another person's project as well.
26:43And that's when we really saw that we gel well together.
26:47And it's just amazing.
26:50It's amazing where, you know, we can bounce off each other.
26:54I thank Dre for allowing us to dig into Necropolis and to help, you know, form the final script of what it is.
27:05And then putting this, because some of the things that, you know, were added to spice up things, it was great.
27:12It worked perfectly.
27:13So it takes a team, a team with like-mindedness and like passions to make greatness happen.
27:20So we're excited about the greatness.
27:22That's unique, too, because most writers are like, mine.
27:25Right.
27:26It's mine.
27:27It's mine.
27:28It's mine.
27:29Don't tell me that that character isn't good.
27:32Yeah.
27:33Yeah.
27:34He's amazing.
27:35Right.
27:36He's what I envision.
27:37Right.
27:38Now, I'm telling you, when I tell you, man, the stuff y'all added, I mean.
27:45I know what I'm getting Dre for Christmas.
27:48I'm going to get him a Wi-Fi booster.
27:51Yeah.
27:52I already got that thing, bros.
27:55I'm just talking.
27:56I'm going to my Amazon box now.
27:58I hate to break it to you.
28:01I hate to break it to you.
28:02I already got a booster.
28:03Oh, man.
28:04Oh, Lord.
28:05See, listen.
28:06Dre lives out where it's not even on the map.
28:10You know what I'm saying?
28:11He's like the CIA headquarters.
28:13You know what I'm saying?
28:14You just fly over.
28:15You don't see nothing when the GPS.
28:18Right.
28:19Yeah.
28:20I'm actually in witness protection.
28:22Right.
28:23You type his address.
28:24The GPS will be like, what?
28:26Does not exist.
28:28Samuel L. Jackson voice.
28:29Come on.
28:30Mother, what?
28:31Well, listen.
28:32I hope in the processing of this video was just delay and, you know, we get the final thing
28:38and we can see if he can get all that because some of the pieces that I heard were gems,
28:48you know, was gold.
28:49Yeah, that's cool, man.
28:50That's cool.
28:51Yeah.
28:52Yeah.
28:53So, hey, man.
28:54And we're just, I mean, but we have been blessed, though.
28:57We've actually got on Dragon Con and that was a good thing.
29:00And like I said, once again, shout out for Hilton for that.
29:03And we're just getting a lot of love and we want that to continue, man.
29:07We're not going to stop, you know.
29:10Pushing.
29:11We just want everybody to get our backs and we got y'all.
29:14Just pushing.
29:15You know, one of the driving forces for Real Brothers is our passion, man.
29:20Our passion for the arts, our passion for people, our passion to put out great material,
29:28our passion to just be great artists all around.
29:32So, between the three of us, we have, well, what, I don't know how many years of experience.
29:39You know, close to 50, I guess, years of experience.
29:43Yeah.
29:44With the, I mean, you know, I've been doing this since a teenager.
29:48And then, you know, finally had, I've been dreaming of working with my brothers, man.
29:54And working with you guys doing this.
29:56And this has been great.
29:57So, I think stick around.
30:01Stick around and see what Real Brothers is going to bring.
30:04Yeah.
30:05I think so.
30:06You know, just for the community.
30:08All right.
30:09Let's set up just the clip.
30:11Let's set up the clip for the teaser.
30:14All right.
30:15Nearing down on time.
30:17And, Drake, can you break it down for us?
30:22Oh, man.
30:23Can y'all hear me still?
30:25Am I not frozen?
30:26I'm not frozen.
30:27Yeah, we can hear you.
30:28We can hear you now.
30:29Yeah.
30:30Yeah.
30:31You can hear me.
30:32Okay.
30:33So, what we got with the teaser is pretty much is just a small clip of us, you know,
30:38putting together what's going to be set forth.
30:40Marcus and Ethan making their way through the, through the pandemic.
30:44We just don't want to use zombie apocalypse, but through the pandemic and navigating and
30:49trying to survive and getting to the site R.
30:53All right.
30:54Let's roll it.
30:56It's day.
30:59I'm not sure what day it is at this point.
31:03It's getting late.
31:04We have to grab the shelter pretty soon.
31:08Get.
31:09You have got to pay attention.
31:10This isn't a game.
31:11This is life or death.
31:12Marcus.
31:13What?
31:14Marcus.
31:15Let's go.
31:16I don't know why I still keep these diaries.
31:25Will anyone ever see?
31:30I guess it's for my own sanity at this point.
31:35More and more people keep turning.
31:38Get up.
31:39Get up.
31:40Get up.
31:49It doesn't matter how many liquors I can.
31:51Marcus.
31:52What, kid?
31:53Oh.
31:56They seem to keep coming back.
31:58Hurry up.
31:59The kid is slowly starting to be able to hold his own.
32:06I don't know.
32:08I kind of like the kid.
32:10Hey, Marcus.
32:11Want to hear my song?
32:13Sure, kid.
32:14Go for it.
32:15Ninety-nine lurkers are climbing the wall.
32:18Ninety-nine lurkers are here.
32:21Take one shot and shoot one down.
32:24Ninety-eight lurkers are climbing the wall.
32:28Ninety-eight lurkers are climbing the wall.
32:31Ninety-eight lurkers are here.
32:34Take one shot and shoot one down.
32:38Ninety-seven lurkers are climbing the wall.
32:41I have to get the sight on.
32:44the sight on. That is my mission. At this point, I can't let anything stop me.
33:00Ninety-five lurkers are climbing the wall. Ninety-five lurkers are here.
33:06Take one shot, shoot one down. Ninety-four lurkers are climbing the wall.
33:24Cool. So, you know, even looking at the clip, I mean, just the development that has come from
33:31when we shot it to this, it's just the production value is just going to go up a thousand notches
33:39to the next level. We got award-winning VP on board, award-winning editor on board.
33:45We just have a whole bunch of cast and crew that came out and that's ready and willing to do what
33:54it takes to put the best product forward. So I'm excited about that. I'm excited about, and with
33:59the independent film, it ain't that many of us doing this. You know, we're a small crew
34:06in a sense, but at the same time, we're a big crew because we've had so many people just reaching out
34:12and willing to help to build this brand, to build the brand of Real Brothers and build the brand of
34:18Necropolis as well. So be on the lookout for that. Also, we are doing a crowdfunding for Necropolis.
34:28So Necropolis is not, we're not, you know, selling our houses and cars and stuff as some people do.
34:35That credit card. Yeah, maxing out the credit card. We don't want to go
34:38into debt trying to, you know, do this, but we are looking for help. We're looking for people
34:47just like you to give, you know, no matter the amount that you give is not, and there's nothing
34:53too small that you can give. If you can get $10, $20, that's great. There are perks that you can
34:59purchase where you can be a part of this, you know, this production. You can get some of the
35:05props that we're going to use. You can get a shout out, you know, whatever. Check out,
35:11go to our Indiegogo. It's going to be on all the links and everything. You can follow on here.
35:18Check out our Indiegogo so that you can support our Real Brothers. Again, this is our staple,
35:26our first feature film. We shot short films together. We've done some different things
35:32together. Trey and I started doing improv together and doing skits and different things like that.
35:41And so now we want to go to the next level. We need your help. We need our community to help us.
35:46You know, it's all love, you know, what you give back. And if you don't even have the money to give,
35:53guess what? Share it. Share it. We're like 10 friends because guess what? Someone's going to be
35:57out there. They see it. They might like our concept and be like, hey, let's put, let's help them out,
36:01put them on or whatever else. So just share. Support or share. That's it. Right.
36:07Absolutely. Absolutely. You know, a lot of people ask us about our intro as we're going down the tracks.
36:14And one of the things is, is that a movie?
36:16Is that a movie? Hey, you never know. That, that small concept can blow up and just be something
36:25great with the kind of talent we have. The thought about it was behind that was actually that
36:31it's us fighting our way into the industry. You know, it's a fight, it's a grind. And you know,
36:35you gotta, you gotta come up on top and Real Brothers coming up on top as Dre has the big sledgehammer.
36:42That's right. That's cool. You can't stop me! That day was hot too, boy. It was, man.
36:53It was. Big blood all in the house. Very hot. Very hot. I got you. I know.
36:59But that's what it takes. A little blood, sweat, and some tears.
37:05Good word. Cool. All right. Well, thank you,
37:08Afro Punt for your time. Thank you for checking, checking us out. Check us out on Instagram,
37:15Facebook, Real Brothers, or you can go check out our website, realbrothersproductions.com.
37:22We are at Real Bros Pro on Facebook, and Real Brothers on Instagram. And I'm sure there's,
37:32we got it on LinkedIn. Just look up Real Brothers. R-E-E-L Brothers. Real, like movie real. All right?
37:39All right. Have fun with the rest of Afro Punk. I can't wait till we get back together as our tribe
37:48comes back together after this COVID is all over and we get out in the streets. I want to catch the
37:53one in New York or Atlanta. I love that one. Right, right. We're trying to come out and be amongst our
37:59people. Yes. With the tribe. Any final words, Dre? Man, I just, I appreciate everybody who's
38:08supported us so far and looking forward to, you know, all our new fans and supporters. And
38:14like I said, just, I can tell you, you can bet on us. You know, we're going to, we're going to
38:18definitely make sure everybody's taken care of and that we're going to continue to put out good content.
38:22Absolutely. It's all right. Peace.
38:47Yes.
39:19Oh, where'd you come from?
39:35How did you survive in this? I guess you're going to be my little riding partner.
39:43Let's see if we can find you some food, okay?
39:49I guess you're going to be my little riding here.
39:51Let's see.
40:07Let's see.
40:09Oh.
