Transcript
00:00Hey Naturally Curly World, it's Nikki.
00:02It's summertime, so I know your hair is dry, because my hair is dry.
00:06Today I'm going to show you guys how I wash my hair and how I moisturize it using the
00:10LOC method.
00:11What I do is use a special mix of products to make sure that my hair is moisturized
00:16throughout the entire week.
00:17So what is the LOC method?
00:18The L stands for leave-in, and you can use any kind of leave-in, and then you layer on
00:23top of that the O, which is an oil, and then on top of that you layer a cream.
00:29And that process, that technique of layering those kinds of products on your hair helps
00:34to keep your hair moisturized for at least a few days.
00:37But before you get to the LOC method and layering products on your hair, you want to make sure
00:42that your hair is clean.
00:43So what I like to use is a co-wash.
00:45A co-wash is a gentler way of cleaning your hair, and it's less harsh than a shampoo.
00:50I'm going to be using the Be Gentle, Be Kind co-wash.
00:54It is a cream formula, it's all natural, which means it's going to be ultra-moisturizing.
00:59I just co-washed my hair in like under 15 minutes.
01:04It's the easiest way mid-week to wash, condition, and detangle your hair, and you can't do that
01:11if you have to shampoo, condition, deep condition, detangle.
01:14This is a one-step product, so I love it.
01:16Okay, so now that my hair is clean, I am going to show you all how to do the LOC method.
01:22So this is the leave-in.
01:23This is a spray leave-in, and this is called the Rosarco Milk Spray Leave-in because it
01:28has rose hip, argan oil, and coconut oil.
01:31It's lightweight, and it says it's supposed to soften, strengthen, and repair your hair,
01:36which my hair desperately needs.
01:38I colored it a few weeks ago, and even before that, I had it straightened, so my hair is
01:43like giving me moisture.
01:46And now the next step in the LOC method is the O, the oil.
01:49What you want to look for in an oil is to make sure that it's like all natural, no additives,
01:53no crazy chemicals, and that it's silicone free.
01:56This is the Rosarco oil, and it has rose hip, argan oil, and coconut oil.
02:02We have made it to the third and final step of the LOC method, the cream.
02:06And I'm going to be using the Briogeo Leave-in Defining Cream.
02:10So I'm going to section off my hair into four sections, and then I will put a little dollop
02:14of this in my hand and smooth it down using the Praying Hands method to make sure that
02:20my entire hair is coated with the product.
02:22And what this is going to do is make sure that my hair has a lot less frizz, and it's
02:28going to define my curls.
02:29And you can see like they're already clumping and things like that.
02:33That's what you want to see.
02:44Okay so after about five or six minutes of diffusing, these are my results.
02:48So the Briogeo products were really great.
02:50I mean they helped me detangle, define, and moisturize my hair.
02:55And I can tell, I can tell because my hair is softer, like my curls are clumped, there's
03:00less frizz.
03:01At the beginning of this video my hair was dry and frizzy, and it looked bad.
03:07Now it looks shiny and it's lightweight, and my curls are defined, and this is what my hair
03:12is supposed to look like every day.
03:14It doesn't feel weighed down even though I use three different products.
03:17And this would actually look like this for a few days.
03:19I usually get about three to five days with my wash and go using the L.O.C. method.
03:24So it's like the greatest thing ever.
03:26Have you guys tried it?
