00:00The Rangers were finally able to trade Artemi Panarin to the Kings in exchange for a right-wing
00:05prospect in Liam Greentree, a conditional third-rounder in this year's draft that can become
00:10a second if the Kings win one playoff round, and it would be the better of the Kings' two-thirds.
00:16And if the Kings win two playoff rounds, the Rangers will also get a fourth-round pick in
00:212028. The Rangers also had to retain 50% of Panarin's salary to facilitate the deal.
00:26I don't think that Artemi Panarin is the last player we see to leave here. I do think that
00:32Braden Schneider and Vincent Trocek are two big trade pieces for the Rangers that they would like
00:37to see if they could get anything for. It's a bit of uncertainty right now for the Rangers and the
00:42direction, and a lot of it is going to depend on what President and General Manager Chris Jury is
00:47able to accomplish between now and the start of next season.
