Branded Content Video Producer Sharí Nycole tastes different foods at the Essence Eats stage during Essence Festival Of Culture. This drink was created by 'Soba Hibiscus' from Louisiana.
Transcript
00:00All right, guys. So I'm full. And you know what you do when you're full, right? You get just something to drink. If you notice, I didn't have anything to drink this entire time. So I'm very excited. I have three choices. I'm going to drink all of these and be refreshed. And these are from Soba Hibiscus. They hail from Louisiana, baby. I just love Louisiana black owned businesses. And this one is owned by Kami and Stefan. They've been in business for six years. And I'm a health nut. So I'm really excited about this first one, the smooth ginger.
00:28Oh, it's so good for your digestive system. And you know, as well as I do, how we've been eating out here down to the Essence Festival of Culture. I'm not going to embarrass myself or anyone else. Just know we can do better. And I'm going to do better right now as I take a sip of this. Here we go.
00:45Wow. Okay. This is fantastic. You taste the ginger. But sometimes, you know, when you have ginger, it's a little bit overpowering. This is perfect. Also, sometimes with hibiscus teas, they're overly carbonated.
00:58So this goes down really smooth. It doesn't taste like I'm drinking soda. It's very, very refreshing. One more sip of this.
01:06The Invisible Hand. I'm going to pass this over to them so they can put the cap on top and I can take that home with me.
01:11All right. Next one. Thank you, Invisible Hand. Tropical Pineapple.
01:15Oh, it tastes like summertime. It's perfect. Like you eat. I can taste the pineapple, but I can also taste the other tropical flavors in here.
01:26It's a good blend, a good mix. You know, and I know it's healthy, but if you want to put a little something in there, maybe make a sangria or something.
01:34I'm just being honest. I think this will work for that.
01:39All right. Invisible Hand. There you go.
01:41And number three. Nothing like a classic. You can't mess up anything that's a classic.
01:46Let's try this.
01:47That is good. That tastes like your homemade good old sweet tea.
01:55Again, the thing that I love about this tea is nothing's overpowering.
01:59It's really, really, really refreshing.
02:02So when you're out here, whether you're eating terrible like we are down to the Essence Festival culture,
02:06or you're just at home, or maybe leaving the gym, going to the gym, what have you,
02:09or you just need something refreshing, I would really highly suggest this.
02:12Oh!
