00:00What's going on in Kira's personal life as her professional budding 5.30 a.m. dot matrix career is killing it?
00:08So I was a newlywed.
00:12Okay.
00:13My first marriage, I was a newlywed and we were both trying to figure out, you know, how to start our careers.
00:22And I really loved living in New York.
00:25I really loved my job, but my husband at the time really wanted to move back to the D.C. area.
00:34And so that was, I actually, I don't ever really talk about this.
00:37I appreciate you asking that question.
00:38Yeah, I mean, we want people to see them in real life, right?
00:40Yeah, so, you know, I was probably 20, 30, 30 at the time and had to make a decision.
00:46Do I pursue this dream career working for this woman that I admire so much?
00:52Or do I do what I think is best to maintain my marriage?
00:57This is a really real moment for people.
00:59It happens often.
01:00Yeah.
01:01And deciding whose career should lead.
01:04Because we both were starting out, it wasn't like his was further or longer or mine was.
01:10We both were kind of, you know, equal.
01:12And even I think as a woman, the little inner feminist in me was like struggling with that.
01:17Like, why are we deferring to his career?
01:20But I made the decision to leave Kraft.
01:23And, you know, in my mind, the benefit of moving back to D.C. meant I was also moving back closer to my family.
01:30So there was a silver lining.
01:32So that's what was going on in my personal life.
01:34Peace.
01:55Peace.
01:57Peace.
