00:00You know, as you mentioned about like pinning your stuff back in the day, like how important it is to be like a writer, you know, in addition to a musician and just like the significance of creating your own music.
00:11Oh, my God, I started actually late writing my own songs. And I'm kind of glad because I got a chance to watch and learn from, you know, some of the greatest writers ever in music.
00:23And so when I started to really dig into my own poetry and my own music, I started to feel like, OK, this is what I want to say.
00:32This is what I want to put out into the world. And it was more honest for me, like a lot of the songs that I've done that I haven't written, I could relate to and I could bring the truth and honesty to it.
00:43But when it's you and it's your lyrics and it's your words, it just feels a little bit different.
00:48It feels a little bit more like it's more intimate. It's more like mine.
