00:25It was like, because I was like, I don't know, you know, not thinking about it, not saying that you don't want love, not saying that you don't want someone that you care for, not saying that you want to care for other people.
00:44I just never saw it in my life, you know, and you don't want to be like, some of my, you know, some of the people that I know, they married my man.
00:53Like, I take my, like, when I take my married guys out, boy, it's like a rabbit animal.

01:04Whoa, we, I said, man, I'll leave because, you know, and vice versa with the girls.

01:12So not to say that it would have been that way, but I just never felt that.
01:16And I said, I don't want to be in that situation and, and be faking it or feeling like, you know, because when I was in a relationship and broke up that, that thing right there, break up and, ooh, I hate that feeling.

01:30Especially when they go get in shape too, you know?

01:34I'd be like, oh, I hope that's true.
01:37You see your ex, you'd be like, they in the gym.
01:40They in the gym.
01:41You should have kept it.
01:42But think about, you know, you talked about assumptions, you know, people make because you're not married and what you can speak of, you know, and things of that nature.
01:52I'm curious as an extension of that, have you felt people judge you because the mothers of your children are black?
01:57And has that ever, okay.
01:59Well, here was the thing, like with me and my dating and my kids, I've been very, very tight with that because I am a black man.
02:11And I'm aware of that.
02:12I'm aware of, I'm aware of my blackness in every single way.
02:17But I just like to keep my life, you know, private because when I do, I used to do a joke.
02:26I used to do a joke about, I was doing standup.
02:28I would go out and it was all black.
02:30You know, some of my black girls see like, be like, Jamie, what's with these white girls?
02:33And so I went on stage, I went on stage like, sisters, just want to let y'all know I've come to Jesus.
02:39What, Jamie?
02:40I am no longer dating white girls.
02:44And they were like, ah, and they don't keep, as they're yelling, they don't hear this in public.
02:49Anyway, what I did was I didn't hide that.
02:57And I didn't hide the fact that I love my black folk, you know what I'm saying?
03:01And I didn't want any of that to define me or make it seem like there was anything other than I had children with people that I felt and I loved at that time and still love.
03:14But I didn't want that to, you know, I don't want that to cloud anything, you know what I'm saying?
03:19Because I ain't that, I'm not that, I'm not that dude, like as far as, you know, to be honest, some brothers would date outside their race and be that.
03:31Well, anyway, I felt like, you know, I'm not that, you know, and everything in my world is black, even the white folks.
03:39Does that make sense?
03:41You know what I'm saying?
03:42You know, like we, I take, I take them saying white people to the George Floyd to the, come on, and we're going to watch Do the Right Thing, too.
03:50They all do the right thing, yeah.
03:52So, so, so people understand.
03:55And then when I write the book about the next book about what happened to me and what triggered all of the things that I do, because it really, there's, there's some things that were deep that, that, in the next one you'll.
