00:29Hello, before we get started and meet our models, you've said that there are a lot
00:33of styles that we see on celebrities that we can achieve at home, but we definitely don't
00:37feel like we can do that when we get home.
00:40So tell us why we can actually achieve these looks.
00:43Well, it's mostly mental.
00:45Most of these styles can be achieved at home, but you've got to go into it knowing you can
00:50do it.
00:51And it doesn't even take that long.
00:52Okay.
00:53I'm going to trust you.
00:54Our first model is Norelle.
00:56She has short hair with shaved sides as her daytime look.
01:00So it's already fabulous, but we're going to vamp it up a little.
01:04So let's get started.
01:05Show us what you're going to do.
01:06Absolutely.
01:07So Norelle was already prepped with Emotions Active Moisture Line Shampoo and Conditioner.
01:12Luckily, the shampoo and conditioner already hydrated her hair enough that it makes it easy
01:18for us to go into a night style.
01:20The first thing I'm going to do is take a 3-4 inch curling iron and just start curling
01:25the hair away from the face.
01:32So now I've got a ton of curl in the hair.
01:34We're going for bounce, and I'm going old school with a pick.
01:37I love a pick.
01:39Just going to pick it out a bit.
01:40And we can choose to either keep it standing up like that, or you can define the curls
01:49a bit more, and just have some fun with it.
01:53You can't have an edgy style like this and have the hairline doing crazy things.
01:59So the smooth and hold edges.

02:03Norelle, you look great, and you are ready to have a good time with your girlfriends.

02:10Next up is Erica.
02:11Her hair is straightened, and it's a medium length.
02:15Right now she's rocking a long bob or lob.
02:18What are you going to do to Erica's hair today?
02:19We're going to switch up the part because that really gives you a whole different look.
02:24Her hair is already hydrated with Emotions Active Moisture Line Shampoo and Conditioner.
02:31So I'm going to take my one inch curling iron, and notice I'm starting to curl in the center
02:37of the hair shaft, and I'm taking the curls in opposite directions.
02:40So you're alternating.
02:41Alternating.

02:50What is most becoming for most girls is to style the hair away from the face.

03:20Well, our last model up is Scotty, and she is rocking a very chic top knot for the office,
03:26but we want to do something different for the night.

03:31Tell us what you're going to do with Scotty.
03:33So Scotty was already prepped with the Motions Active Moisture shampoo and conditioner,
03:38but Scotty has curly hair, and if she had chosen to wear her hair curly today, we could have used
03:45the Motions Versatile Foam Styling Lotion. It's great for washing goes. Top knots are awesome for

03:59Almost. Then you can cheat again, making your hair look even more stylish with a really deep side part.

04:10I am braiding. I am giving her a nice Dutch braid on the side, or as we like to call it, a cornrow.
04:17It's a cornrow. Absolutely.
04:19This hairstyle is going to look so complicated, and it is going to be our easiest style of all.
04:24Really?
04:25And I'm going to make it look even fancier by pulling on the braid and making it look even fuller.
04:31Now, this is what you see on celebs when you think that they spent a whole lot of time styling
04:37their hair. Then I'm just going to pin it over to the side. And so this wave on the side of her hair,
04:43which is old Hollywood awesome. Absolutely.
04:45That is the natural wave that was created with her hair being in the top knot.
04:49Yep.
04:49Yes, girl. This is like such a dramatic change, because that top knot was definitely chic and
04:55pulled together and very professional. But this, in like a matter of minutes,
05:01has really transformed your look. I really hope you're going out tonight.
05:04I'm just going to do one curl at the face to make it look super purposeful.
05:09This is the one inch. This is my absolute favorite. For hair this length, she also could
05:14have used a one and a fourth inch. And then I am going to go with my smooth and...
05:20Didn't see that one coming.
05:21Of course you are.
05:23Smooth and hold edges. No matter how we style our hair, we always want it to look neat.
05:27No, it's good. I know that that's something that I can always use,
05:30no matter how I'm styling my hair, and that it will work. I think that that's really important.
05:34Absolutely. If Monet buys any product, I have to be able to use it for multiple different styles.
