00:00You know, it's sort of like giving people a window into my life.
00:07When you think of it, you think of, oh my gosh, you know, this horrible tragedy happened,
00:11but welcome to, you know, my life.
00:14Welcome to my life.
00:15And so many others are suffering from the same thing to this day.
00:18Right.
00:19And you've done such a remarkable job of keeping Sean's memory alive.
00:21And, you know, where do you see the work that you're doing going about?
00:25How else would you do that?
00:26We'll stop the killings of innocent black men and women and children across this nation.
00:31Ultimately, when you see me, I would hope that everyone thinks of the injustice that a young girl had to face.
00:39Sean losing his life.
00:41Joseph being shot 17 times, Trent four times.
00:44And for all of us, it's, you know, every day is another obstacle.
00:49Because we're all left with those memories.
00:51You know, I can close my eyes right now and remember getting that phone call.
00:55And being there to share my story is a reflection of every woman who has ever faced any adversity throughout their lifetime.
01:03And we're all a community, right?
01:04Like you went through it, but we almost went through it with you.
01:07How do we get involved?
01:07How can we help?
01:08How do we find out more?
01:10Well, you know, by staying informed, as we say, woke these days, join an organization.
01:16There are many civil rights organizations, social justice organizations out there today.
01:20If you don't know of an organization, start one.
01:22If you're in college, join a club, start an association, something that resonates with
01:27what your message is so that we can keep the conversation going and we can make small changes
01:33so that we never have to lose another Sean Bell.
01:36Amen.
01:37Amen.
01:38And thank you so much for all the work that you've been doing.
01:39You've been such a pillar of strength.
01:40We really appreciate you stopping by.
