00:18bold rainbow-colored stripes, and of course, oh-so-chic shoes. Here to talk about the hottest
00:25shoe trends you should be buying this season is celebrity stylist and my friend, Worry Weiss.
00:30Hey love, welcome back. Thank you for having me back. I saw you getting down with your Ready,
00:35Set, Fierce. Definitely. Well, I really want to get into all of the shoe trends we should be wearing
00:41this season. But what's one trend that we had last year that we should probably retire for this year?
00:47There's always one to retire, right? So this season, we're going to put away the Gladiator
00:51Sandal. It's kind of a conflict with the sleeves and things that we're working with this season
00:56and the bright stripes. It's a little confusing and overwhelming. So we're keeping it hot with
01:01these trends that we have going on this season. Okay, good. That'll still keep you in style. You
01:04can put them away. Maybe they'll come back at another time. But for right now, we're going to put
01:07them up. I wore my Gladiator Sandals to death last season. You and every other girl that I know.
01:11Good, good. Okay, so what should we be wearing? What's the first trend we should be wearing this
01:16season? Well, the first trend that we're looking at is sliders. We've got two really great pairs here.
01:20The first pair that we're dealing with are the fun tassels. Yeah, I love this. The tassels that are on.
01:26And that's what I love about what they're doing with sliders. Like, there are fun elements to it.
01:30It's not just your average slip on. The snake skin. The metallics that are in there. The silver
01:35undertones. Really great. And those are at a really great price point, too, because you've even got
01:39the suede. And look at this furry moment. I love. Now, this right here just makes me really happy.
01:45I, the pajama chic movement is one of my favorites. I have a client. She loves to wear pajamas as long
01:52as she's comfortable. Even in wearing, like, the oversized shirt dresses and stuff. These are really
01:57great. The only thing I would like to suggest is that I not see women out here wearing body-conscious
02:03dresses with the first. I've seen it, and it just drives me, like, absolutely bummed. Well, can you wear
02:08these type of things, like, at work? Can they be dressed up for the professional setting? Well,
02:13you know what? This looks really great with a tapered leg. So, I would love to see the tasseled
02:17shoe with a tapered leg. You can dress it up with a nice blouse and make a good time at work. Now,
02:23the furry slippers, that's, well, depending on where you work. Well, if you're a fashion
02:27beauty director. But if we're going to the office, I don't want to see you in a furry
02:30slipper. You might not keep your job, so. Okay, good. Sweat those to the side. Okay,
02:35so what's the next trend? Well, the next trend we have is the flat form. I love these. This
02:40is an amazing way for women to get height without having to wear a heel. Because I, you know,
02:46I used to be a really big fan of putting really tall heels on my clients, and then they would
02:51look at me, and they're like, really? My feet are killing me right now. Right. And it's like,
02:54okay, this is a great way to get that same type of height, though. Can they be too high,
02:59though? I mean, like, you don't want to start looking like Frankenstein. I mean, there's a
03:04little bit of flat form for everybody. Okay. So, the higher you want to go, you know,
03:07what do they say? The bigger your hair, the closer you are to God. Yeah. So, the same with
03:10your flat form. The bigger the flat form, the closer you are to God. There you go. So, we've
03:16got these fun velvet sneakers. Like, this is great for the weekend when you're just out with
03:20the fam, and you want to just step your outfit up a little notch, and you might have on
03:23shorts or, you know, a cute little white T-shirt. This is a fun way to do that and still, you know,
03:29have a little chicness in your wardrobe. And then these ones. I love. Who doesn't love an
03:33espadron in the summer? And you get it in the flat form, so you still get that comfort, but you also
03:38get that chicness. Like, I love this whole, this is a great replacement for the Gladiator. You're getting
03:43the Gladiator ankle strap instead. Right. And again, this is a wonderful price point. Like,
03:48T.J. Maxx and Marshalls, they do an amazing job with that. And this looks like it could go with
03:51anything you're wearing. It does. You can do this with a great pair of jeans. Bell bottoms are a big
03:55trend right now. This is amazing with a maxi dress. You can even do it with. Right. To give yourself a
03:59little height so the maxi dress doesn't drag. But your feet are still what? Comfortable. Yes. How about
04:04that? Okay, next trend might be my favorite trend of the whole season. So, let's talk about this.
04:10Well, this is the denim trend. Yes. I love denim because denim goes with everything. Everything. I'm a fan of the denim on denim. Let's denim it out and do it together. The Canadian tuxedo, it's called, right? How about it? Okay. And so, here we have yet another play on the espadron bottom. But these are slip-ons. These are easy. You can fly with these. When you're traveling in the airport, they're easy to put on, easy to take off. And you can wear them with a crisp white shirt. Or you can do your whole denim on denim moment.
04:39It's great. It's perfect. I love it. And these ones, the heels. This I love because the heel on the back is just so, like, it's a great take on the wood panel with, like, wooden bangles and things like that are a big comeback. And then you've got the whole tan piping on the shoe. And this is also great as a transition from day to night. So, it's a really fun shoe to have. So, can you wear this with the tuxedo, the Canadian tuxedo? Like, if I'm wearing a denim top, jeans, can I also wear denim shoes? Absolutely. Okay.
05:09Take it from head to toe. If you say I can do it, then I'm going to do it. You can do anything. Okay. Just remember that. Okay. Good. But that you can definitely do. I mean, it's a look to rock. And you'll be the envy of the town. Yay. Okay. What is the last trend that everyone should be kind of looking out for this season?
05:24The revamped mule. So, we're used to mules being in the high heel. Right. We love a good remix. We do. I'm a 90s baby. So, I love that all day long. But this is a great way to wear the mule. I specifically love the fact that they're low. And again, it kind of fits into that slippery feeling that we were doing with the furry slippers. And it just takes it to another place.
05:46You know, again, there's no real support when you're wearing a mule and it's high. But this way, you're still getting that chicness, that pointy toe with the bow and the metallic is a way to dress it up.
05:56And if you're in between pedicures, perfect. This is perfect. Because you still get the comfort of a flip-flop, but you don't have to show your toes.
06:02Right. And it's like, oh, I need to get a pedicure if I haven't gotten one, but I can slip on these fabulous shoes.
06:07It covers the pedicure. And I'm still giving you on trend. Exactly. The bow, the metallic, it still gives it a dressy feeling.
06:13Because I love this. I would dress this up at night. Yeah. And the tan ones would be great for work.
06:18These are perfect for the office. These are perfect for every day. They're comfortable.
06:22I just have to tell you that when wearing mules and wearing the flip-flops, you've got to make sure that your feet, you know, are taken care of because they're closer to the ground.
06:31So they can get really crazy on the back. You don't want your, like, heels. Look at all. Make sure you get that good pedi.
06:36Yes. Scrub them heels down. Scrub-a-da-da-da. That can make this go wrong real quick. But, no, I love this trend.
06:43This is one of my favorites right here. Oh, good. Well, thank you so much. Thank you. All of these options are fantastic.
