I said, well, what am I doing then? He said, you're getting on my goddamn nerves. That's what you're doing. I said, what do you mean? He said, look, people don't come to comedy shows because they want to hear about your problems or politics or religion or what's going on in the world.
00:27They come to comedy shows to have fun. So when you're on stage, you need to be having fun. And I have taken that philosophy with me in everything that I do in life.
00:35So no matter where I'm at, no matter what's going on, no matter how mad I am or sad I am, I try to have fun in that situation. I think that's the most important thing. And doing all of that has led me to here, sitting in this room with y'all.
