00:06Today is a very special midterm elections
00:09result edition of In My Feet
00:11and we are so proud of the Democrats
00:13for flipping the House of Representatives
00:15good for you.
00:16And a special shout out to women
00:18who across the nation made historic wins.
00:21They are now better represented than ever before
00:23in our political economy
00:25and we just cannot wait to see women shine
00:27as they should.
00:28And a very special shout out to some black women
00:31who are now going to be holding truth to power.
00:33Ayanna Pressley, Lauren Underwood
00:35and a very very special shout out to Stacey Abrams.
00:38We are still rooting for you girl.
00:39She is making sure that every vote is counted.
00:42She's only trailing by a hundred thousand votes
00:44with Brian Kemp and so we hope
00:46once all of the votes are counted
00:47that she will come out on top.
00:49And if that's not all,
00:50another black woman is making history this week.
00:52Christiana Pitts is the very first black woman
00:54to play the lead in King Kong.
00:56And so we salute you too.
00:57We see you sister.
00:58And we can't wait to come to see you on Broadway.
