00:00Hey you guys! So today I'm going to be showing y'all how to take y'all everyday makeup routine,
00:14switch it up for a perfect night out. Instead of going into the process of taking the whole face
00:19off, which none of us have time for. I personally don't, maybe you do, I don't. Make sure y'all got
00:26some, you know, tissue paper on deck. And all you're going to need is a few makeup brushes
00:32and a few palettes. So first we want to start by taking off any lip color that we have.
00:38You can also take this. This is going to tone down any highlighter that you have on your
00:42face. Because for night time, usually I like to switch up the highlighter that I use. So
00:47just tap it. This will blend it into the skin so it's not as vibrant. So if you want to
00:53build upon the highlighter, you can.
00:58Ok you guys, so think in your head what colors you want to use tonight. You can always match
01:03your outfit if you want. Or you can just keep it smokey, natural, brown, use bronze colors
01:08like golds and stuff like that. That's always what I run to because I'm not the best at makeup
01:14but I do know how to make stuff look on fleek with certain colors. So I find to stick to like
01:20golds and browns. So that's what I'm going to do today. So get yourself a palette something
01:25like this. I'm going to be using these three colors but of course I'll tell you guys which
01:30is which and when I'm going to use them. So to start, you want to start with a blending brush,
01:35a curved one like so. We're going to take this matte brown color. So if you don't know where your crease
01:43is, take the end of your brush and like poke your eye. So wherever the indent is in your eye,
01:49that's your crease. I remember I never knew that until a couple months ago so thought I'd tell you.
01:55So take your brush, tap it. We're going to blend in all that later so just make sure you're getting the color on there.
02:08You can bring it up closer to your brow the more you tap.
02:18See it's on there but we're about to blend this out.
02:22So I'm telling you, napkins is our best friend today. We're going to wipe some of that extra product off
02:29because sometimes you could think you're blending out eyeshadow but you're really applying more
02:34and then you start to look like a raccoon. Yeah, I found that out too. So take this, blend it.
02:45And the point of blending it is so it can be a lot more smoky. Y'all can see the difference between the eyes.
02:51One is like really harsh. One is like very soft and smoky.
03:03Okay, bomb. So we got our brown on our eyes and it looks all cute and blended.
03:08I'm going to go in with the gold color that we talked about earlier. And I'm going to put this on my lid.
03:14You want to use a brush like so. This is a flat brush and it's just going to allow you to just apply it.
03:20If you're like me and you have eyelash extensions on, you don't want something that's going to get on the lash extensions.
03:26So this is the best type of brush. So just tap it all over the lid.
03:33And every time you dip your brush into a shadow, just so nothing drops on your face because we are, you know,
03:44we're not doing this from scratch. So we don't want to be cleaning up stuff and messing up the look we already have on.
03:50Make sure you like dip and then tap like this. We don't need that on our face.
03:56Okay, you guys. So we need to make this look a lot more dramatic, which means darker eyes and such like that.
04:12So we're not done with this eyeshadow look, okay?
04:14We're going to now, gonna take the same color as my top.
04:22And I'm going to apply this on the outer parts of my eye.
04:26This is just to add a little bit of color and then we're going to go in and bring it down under the eyes as well.
04:31So this is really going to make the eyes just pop.
04:38Like I said before, make sure you're tapping it on there first and we'll blend it later.
04:50Okay, so go in with your brush and just any harsh lines, blend it out.
05:09And you can always use your like pinky to do so as well.
05:19So we're going to drag the same color that we just used under our eyes.
05:27And I'm not dragging it all the way out. I'm just dragging it to the outer corner of the under eye.
05:45Okay, so we want our inner tear duct area to pop. I'm going to be taking another gold color.
05:59This one's more of like a brown, a softer gold color.
06:03And we're going to put this in the inner tear duct of our eyes so our eyes will just pop a lot more.
06:09And honestly, I feel like doing this just always brings out the look ten times more.
06:15Next, we're going to do some liner. Y'all can put this on your lid and you can also put this under your eyes.
06:27I'm going to start by putting this under my eyes.
06:31I'm going to be using this type of little spoolie brush to brush out my lash extensions.
06:49And now I'm going to go in with some mascara for, I'm not really going to put them on the top just because I have lash extensions on.
07:00If you're going to be using like strip lashes and not extensions like I have, of course make sure y'all apply mascara on the top as well.
07:08Okay, you guys, we need to highlight the face. It is night time so, which means we want something that when the lights hit us and stuff, it's really going to be vibrant.
07:27So take anything that's a gold, just very, you know, similar to 24 karat. We're going to apply it to our face.
07:36So, highlighted areas would be our nose, our lip, our chin, and our cheekbones.
07:48And you guys can see how vibrant this highlighter is compared to the one that we wiped off earlier.
07:55Last but not least is lip time. We're going to do a dramatic, bold, dark color.
08:00So, I'm going to be using a dark plum type of color and I'm going to be using a lip pencil to do so.
08:09Anything of your choice you can use on your lips, but I feel like this is going to go great with my eyes.
08:16Just a tip, if your lips are a little bit smaller, you guys can always like apply it a little bit over your lip line.
