00:00What more about the black experience, specifically about growing up, would you like to see on screen?
00:12I want to see coming-of-age stories. I want to see her in just all the movies. I want to see...
00:17See, I love teen movies, and there were black characters were always just the side.
00:22Yeah, you're just like a token, like...
00:24You're the token, constantly, and I always just love, like, to see a renaissance of black teen movies.
00:29We haven't had those. Like, I can think of The Wood, and that was still adult and teen. It was more coming-of-age.
00:34But, like, what black teen movies do we have?
00:37We basically do all the same thing as a regular person would, you know?
00:41But it's just we're not the leads on most of them.
00:44So just putting it into relatable films and just TV in general is something that is the goal,
00:52and just seeing them in things that is, like, in a Superwoman-type thing.
00:59We'll see you next time.
01:00We'll see you next time.
