00:06I'm in Atlanta to catch up with our girl, Keisha Naipoyim.
00:09She's gonna teach us how to make
00:10one of her favorite family-style recipes.
00:13Well, you're all set up here.
00:14We are ready to go.
00:16I'm gonna wash my hands first.
00:17Okay, yes, yes.
00:18Because that's what you always have to start with.
00:19You're busy, books, left.
00:22And still have time to cook.
00:23With one-pot dishes, it makes it even easier.
00:26Because I don't believe in dishes.
00:27You know, the saturns makes it easy.
00:28With the Parmesan garlic rice, it has everything in there.
00:30It's brown rice, it has tons of protein,
00:33the beans, everything that you need.
00:35We're just zhuzhing it up,
00:36adding a little protein, a little chicken.
00:38It's really easy, you just season up.
00:40Sprinkle it on.
00:40A little salt and pepper on here.
00:42You need things to be quick and easy
00:44because you're family planning.
00:46You want to enjoy that time with your family.

00:54And so she likes to cook, too.

00:57What do you want to eat?
00:58Now that we have our butter nice and melted,
01:01we're going to pour the chicken in and ground the chicken.
01:04And once it's all cooked, we'll set it aside and make our rice.
01:07Obviously, you love cooking.

01:08Where does that start?
01:09I have a large family, and we all enjoy cooking,
01:11and we love eating.
01:12So I'm the oldest of four.
01:14I have three younger brothers.
01:15Both my parents cook.
01:16So food has always been the center of our home.

01:21So now, rice and beans time.
01:24Let's get this going and bring it to a boil.
01:27It only takes about 10 minutes.
01:28You reduce it, and you let it simmer and take all the water out.
01:32So now we have our rice, and we can just add our chicken in.
01:38Add our spinach.
01:39It smells so good.
01:40I know.
01:41So, so easy.

01:44All we're going to do is stir, and bring it all together.
01:47We just have to put the top on.
