00:12July-August style opener, shooting with the amazing Leila Indie.
00:16Hi guys, I'm so so so excited to be here. It's all colorful, bright, look at this
00:22background, look at the look. Today's fashion look is all about festival-inspired
00:32pieces. It's all about bold, bright colors. We're really focusing on the four
00:38essentials of festival fashion. We're doing crochet, we're doing tie-dye, we're
00:42doing the easy slip dress, and we're doing denim on denim. And the team was just
00:48amazing, the photographer, the stylist, makeup, hair, everything. The inspiration
00:53for today's shoot is very summertime, fun, a lot of color, a lot of prints, so we
01:00really wanted to keep the makeup very fresh and natural, just as you would in
01:04the summertime. You would keep your makeup very minimal, but we wanted to like pump
01:08up the glow and make sure that she looks very luminous and goddess-like. This is
01:13more like a white look that's like a jumpsuit, kind of oversized, super
01:18chill, super cool. It's a kind of safari look, I would say. When you feel like you
01:23want to just be like easygoing and the other look was like more like super
01:27bright, super red pop colors, so you know like everybody's gonna see you. So if you
01:32don't want to be missed, that's the look. We're super excited to shoot with Layla
01:37because not only is she a beautiful, amazing model, but she also is focused on
01:42giving back to her native Burundi. And we are super excited to highlight the work
01:46that she's doing to really have more of a platform to raise awareness for what's
01:51going on in her hometown.
01:51I'm supporting Maison Shalom, this mission that's like helping refugees that move
01:58from Burundi. So it's just like helping women go to school, education, health care.
02:05Imagine when you have to leave your country and you leave everything behind.
02:08People just need everything. It's a country where I'm from, so it touches my heart to just
02:13be able to have that voice and talk for the people that don't have anyone.
02:20Oh my god. Guys, I can't wait for you to see the pictures because it's just so beautiful.
02:26It's all about beautiful skin, beautiful looks and just, you know, strong, feminine,
02:31powerful woman. So I'm here to be representing that kind of woman.
