00:09going to talk about an issue that's been plaguing the digital beauty world for far too long.
00:13We're talking Instagram brows.
00:15You've seen them, they're boxy, they're bulky, and they just look completely unnatural.
00:21Anyone who knows me knows that I consider eyebrows to be the most important part of
00:25the face.
00:26Today I'm going to show you how I get my stellar brows, what products I use, and different
00:31techniques that you could use to execute the same look.
00:33To get the look, you can either use a powder-based product, a gel-based product, which is my particular
00:39favorite, a pencil.
00:42You can also use a palette.
00:43It's basically a powder though.
00:45Or the newest thing, brow mascara.
00:50This one is a little bit trickier, but I'm going to show you how to get it using the gel
00:54products.
00:56So your brows should start right at the inner corner of your eye.
01:00So if you draw an inner line upwards, that's where your brows should start.
01:03Going from your arch, you want to do it based on the outside of your iris.
01:08And then the edge of your brow should be from the outer corner of your eye.
01:13Starting off, you're going to lightly coat the tip of your brow brush.
01:16And then you're going to start at the base, gently drawing a line.
01:22It should be barely visible.
01:23It's really just giving you something to work with.
01:29You're basically just outlining.
01:30And I'm only going to start with the bottom.
01:32So if you see, I have a light line there.
01:35Then I'm going to go ahead and hit the outer corners of my eye, keeping in mind that it should
01:41end at the corner of my eye.
01:43So you're just going to draw a line down.
01:46Now, of course, I recently did my eyebrows.
01:50I waxed them myself.
01:52If your brows are not so clean, you can still follow this same regimen.
01:56But you'll finish them up and clean them up with some foundation.
02:02Once you've done the base and sort of outlined the outer edges of your brows, you're going
02:06to go ahead and flatten your brush like this.
02:10And then you're going to pull up from the base.
02:12I like to sort of do a sweeping motion towards the other side of my face, just so I make sure
02:17that I get some color in there.
02:18But mind you, I'm keeping it very, very light.
02:21So super light strokes.
02:22Then I'm going to go back in, coat my brush again, and hit the top.
02:32I'm sure you've seen on Instagram, sometimes your brows will look drawn on, almost like
02:36they've been painted on.
02:38You want to avoid that at all costs.
02:40Once you've sort of done those sweeping strokes towards the other side of your face, you're
02:44going to just pull the color straight up.
02:46Then I'm going to grab my Q-tip and sort of clean up the excess so I still get that feathery
02:54look.
02:58So one brow is done.
03:01So you're just going to do sweeping motions, just like you would do on your eyes.
03:07And pull down.
03:10If I want to have them a little bit more masculine, I'll literally just wax the bottom and leave
03:14the top a little bit bushy.
03:23Make sure that your brows look even.
03:26Clean them up with some clear brow mascara.
03:34If you have any excess color at the top of your brow, just go ahead and run a Q-tip along
03:39the top of that just to make sure that it's cleaned up.
03:42If you wanted to clean up the edges, if you haven't waxed your brows in a while, you can
03:47always use, I like to use an angled brush, dip it in my concealer and run it along the
03:52perimeter of the brow.
03:54And there you have it, stellar brows.
