00:00So one huge trend for fall is the bang. Now most of us don't really want to make the commitment to
00:10make the big chop and cut up a full bang on our forehead. So a really good alternative is to just
00:15make a wig. Buy a wig, you can make it yourself, buy a closure, clue it on. Either way you can clip
00:20on your bangs now, but if you want a full unit this is a really great way to go. Still be on
00:25trend and fashionable. So first what we're going to have to do, as opposed to the u-part where we
00:29braided it and left the crown out, we're going to braid it all down. Now make sure all your
00:34braids are really really tight to your scalp. I mean because this is a full wig you don't
00:39want any lumps. You want it to be as flat and as seamless as possible. So once your hair
00:45is fully braided down and the ends are tucked into the braids, you take your wig. In this
00:51case we have a wig cap and a closure was thrown onto the wig. I prefer to use closures as opposed
00:59to you doing like a whole track wig because it gives you a more realistic finish. The closure
01:06is supposed to mimic your scalp so it has the right amount of hair, the right density. If
01:10you just do tracks, swirls around, it kind of gets a bit dense and looks wiggy.
01:17So I sewed two clips on the ends so once I put it on it'll clip right here for more secure.
01:22Once the wig feels secure and it's on your head, secure the clip. And what you're going to do is
01:31find that braid with your clip and just fasten it. Perfect.
01:42Now once the wig is on you want to take a brush and smooth all the hair out.
01:47So the trend with bangs right now is that it hits you right above your eyelid. So it cuts right into
01:58the crease. Kind of gives you a sexy, chill vibe. Once you're done with that, take the flat iron
02:04and just go over one time with your flat iron. You want the ends to bend in just a little bit to give
02:10it a more natural finish. Another cool tip I've learned along the way is if you feel like there's too much
02:16volume throughout your crown area and it looks a little bit wiggy, you can go in.
02:28Use a little bit of hairspray
02:33and curve under so that way it gets as flat as possible and just begin straightening that part
02:40again. And you can do that all the way around the crown. Take a flat iron and in this case you use
02:48a curling iron since it's heated up all around and just press it right onto the closure.
02:56That way you get as flat as possible. And there you have it guys, quick and easy bangs for fall.
